No "clintabbott" he's not a moron. It's not that easy. They are a bunch of overpaid, arrogant, closeminded people, who if they run a business like they run the T$$AA outside their walls they would probably be fired.

Im sure they get a lot of complaints they have to investigate, but I would be willing to bet the investigating they do is in house. I dont think they leave the office much to really check things out. Bring it in and I'll look at it type of stuff. Too much of an inconvenience to get out of the office. Hawaii???? I'm sure you are kidding.

If they are non-profit and are paid their salaries are public information. Overheard a conversation where a guy met with the TSSAA about eligibility of a student and the exec. director was texting during most of the meeting. Said he acted like he could care less. Arrogant. Those guys are a class act!

The T$$AA was notified by some schools and others about some illegal players on a certain team. Their reply? Well, to the schools that lodged complaints, the athlete(s) in question addresses are legal. How do they know they are legal? They had the correct paperwork! Thats it! They did not send a rep to verify the addresses.You can actually live in another state and play in a Tennessee school if the paperwork is correct. They were also notified by others. Their reply??? No reply. Dont seem to care. How much of the gate money goes to the schools hosting these playoff games?

Dont know enough about DC to call it. Any info on rumor of Craigmont being investigated for illegal players? Heard Bolton, Millington, filed complaints and DC was notified of it?

If Wooddale has a good run game and speed on defense they win this one. I think the RB for Wooddale will be unstoppable. Millingtons run game had Arlington beat except for missed Xtra points and fummbles. Wooddale wins by 10.

Every win and every loss means a lot. Losing seasons and games hurts programs support and team morale. Winning solves a lot of ills. If we do happen to beat Craigmont and Arlington it sets us up to play teams the caliber of Laf Co. in the playoffs. We need this win tonite. We have the talent to beat a 4A team.

I would LOVE to see us win, but if they pass effectively, well...........

Brighton is like Arlington was last year, run a spread, scored a lot of points against little competition, were 10-0, and lost in the first round of the playoffs. Not sayin they were a bad team.....

I understand about technique but I dont think thats what was beating us. I think our lineman should have been able to drive off there blocks and hold them a little better. I'm not saying to start running a spread offense, just do some small things to spread out the box just a little. The run game is definitlely our strength but lets get outside the front line a little more with pitches, screens, options or something. the Bolton game would be a good opportunity to work on that.

I dont get it. Millington has good size lineman and good backs. Too many of there drives stalled against a smaller def line. Next week would be a rare opportunity to work on your option and pass game which is desperately needed. I saw a several times 8 men in the box. What to do????

Too many mistakes for this late in the season. Fumbling the ball, offsides, bad snaps,(kicker) still getting the illegal shifts penalties. It seems the Trojans always are scored on with the pass. Cant defend it. Coach has got to spread the ball outside of the tackles. Tried to throw in desperation, too late.

I dont know about too much speed. I feel we are a stronger team than Cordova and do win. I would like to see us bounce back and dominate on both sides of the ball. A shutout and at least 24 points might make a statement.

Millington wins this game. I think the Trojans ground game is too strong for 4 quarters against Cordova. I think the Trojans by at least 10 points.

I dont think Millington is rated or overrated. I havent seem them in any poll. I do believe the Trojans will be in the running for the district title. Brighton is a better team than Munford. Brighton by 21 pts.

Millington wins tonight they should be in the Dandy Dozen. I would like to see the Trojans play well no matter what happens. This is a fairly young team with some upcoming big time Soph. and Jr's.

Falcon90, you sound like you are in High School. I dont think there is any super dominant team arising anywhere this year which means anybody is subject to getting beat by decent teams, which CBHS is, on Friday night. Millngton had Whitehaven beat until the last minutes of a preseason scrimmage this spring. CBHS is in for a suprise.

Really?????? His jersey was damaged? is that the best we could come up with? Was it damaged in the game while he was playing illegally? Did he also use a freshmans name?

Now my curiosity is really up. I bet a lot of schools do it. Can the questions I asked earlier in this blog be answered?

My question is 1) have the boys been practicing with Craigmont and 2) was a letter sent to Craigmont questioning their eligiblity and 3) why would one or both of the players be back at Millington if something wasnt right?

I have seen Bolton play also. Not much there this year. Dont know much about Craigmont. Must have a decent team. Anyone know what positions the two kids who transferred from Millington to Craigmont are playing? Are they starters? Still curious how they became eligible that fast???

I think they will get better also as they should. I was just a little disappointed at that many errors. A lot of those kids did not start last year but did play a lot. MUS is fairly young also. I expect Millington to play at that level. I believe they have the athletes.
