ok i agree... kinda.... im changing what i have said the past few weeks... i think the offende in this game is key... with both teams having good "d's" i think it will come down to which offense wants it more... turnovers are a huge key in this game... the polk team is somewhat "young" but by now they have the experience to no longer be the "young" team.. they are unbeaten, playing great, and looking to do better than we did last year cause every team alwalys wants to be better than lasts years seniors.. and last years seniors always say that the team will be "down" the next year.. well i said that and boy was i wrong.. so far they have played the same kind of ball we did last year... if i was sweetwater i would watch out for polk... do not underestimate their schedule, athletes, or play making ability..good luck to polk this week i will be there.. most likely representing UTC... with a UTC shirt on.... go mocs!!!!, and Polk!!! hope this weeks practice is injury free.. i don't wanna hear o we got beat cause we didn't whats his name!!!

ok that was a very sensible post.. it actually really surprised me... i know the players are good guys that work hard.. been there done that and im happy for them.. since all this bull is past us my posts will be more clear and more understandable to avoid the conflicts like these... my aploogies for even saying all the stuff i did.. i was just tired of all that built up inside me... and yes i agree they did a good job (from what i was told) because i know when you get big plays and they are called back it can really get you down... good job from the seniors i was told and great job by some young guns that stepped up.... really hope the injuries are healed fast, and i hope i get to a good game next week at larry g davis field.....

yeah i will be there too. congrats on the win polk and best of luck to grundy for the rest of the season.. and from the info from coach j not all the starters played.... ive never seen or heard of a polk team doing that.. its a big surprise to me.. but polk wildcat my man i was looking forward to you going to the game cause i would have loved to hear what you would have thought about the game.. but o well... i will hear from someone else...

indeed it does but im wanting to hear what catfan has to say i spent a lot of time typing that last post... ok here is a thing that bugs me, why are people so afraid to say who they are on here?? nail07 do you who i am?? and why don't people even say how they know me??? i don't get it.....

all of my experiences have made me the way i am... over the years ive seen people get things they don't deserve!!! and it was all because of the old saying "i'll scratch your back if you scratch mine".. and i know there are a lot of people that are good for the school system and that work hard.. but once again i've seen time after time people see something wrong and don't do anything about it cause the person or group that did it was well known or above them in power...and ive also seen people go up and do things for certain teams and certain coaches that really shouln't be done, unless their help is requested of couse.. that looks bad all the way around.. do you think that don't hurt the players also?? in all of my 18 years i have called polk county home and yes i still do support the wildcats and my friends.. my posts may come across a little backwards to them sometimes but if they have a question or comment they know they can call me.. im gonna give my opinion even if it does make people mad or sad or whatever cause thats who i am.. i even had a long talk with two players at sonic before the season started and told them what i thought (the fullback and the corner) they laughed and we still talked but before i left i told them to prove me wrong and i wished them the best of luck in the season.. i go to the games when i can and support my friends... and i give respect when respect is due.. i respect the coaches at polk even though the seniors and some of the coaches had some bumps last year even though it wasn't all the seniors that did that.. and really i don't think im immature by any means.... but the "treasurer" has talked to me and i respect his word more than anybodys and you will not hear anything out of line from me cause i don't want to walk down that road... but leave him out of it........ the politics thing i said was true, but what place in the world does not have corruption?? and im sorry about the comment about the school system but i still stand by what i said above, but to the people that are on the right side of things i appologize.. and to my "old friends" if you think my posts are to truthful or whatever then please prove me wrong, go out there and go 10-0 and win region, you will get nothing but congrats and other good things from me .... now one last thing the coaches used to tell players not to read into coacht... they should follow that (cause of all this bull going on) it gets your focus off the friday night game.... and i meant to put Polk20wasTrevy.. but i forgot what i was gonna put..i do miss it a lot and would give anything to do it over again.. but thats not my problem... my problem is that people don't wanna hear what i have to say cause the truth hurts... but i hold back on that on here cause of my "friends" that still play... and in my past posts i have had a lot of people agree with me, past players, parents, and fans, maybe even current players or coaches i don't know.. but if my posts bother you.. call me we will talk about it, i dont mind at all in fact i love to argue my opinion with people... and im not set on 1 thing either.. if you can make me believe in your opinion i'm all ears cause i know i don't know everything and i know i can learn a lot of things from others.......................... but people can learn from me to!!!!!!!!

not enough athletes? ok let me tell you this, i played last year and we were pretty good.. we lost a total of 3 games in the regular season by like 6 points if you gave us 1 touchdown and an extra point thats 10-0 and a region championship.. with that being said.. ive seen the weight boards and all the top 10 stuff in the polk fieldhouse... and i have to tell you i think they are stronger and faster than in years past.. might not be as good as we were last year and might be better, be the point is the athletes are there they just need some time adjusting to varsity ball cause most of them are "young" and they are doing good so far....

polks "D" has not been tested and neither has the "O" but here is my two sense.. sweetwater is good yeah but they are not disiplined.. and if they are like they were last year then they are out of shape.. polk plays every play 110% and will knock your head off if you come at them "half-#$$" and sometimes even when you come full speed.. the ground game will help polk in this game and i see the wildcats of polk having a hard time with sweetH2O... but still i think the polk boys will pull it off.. not many teams beat polk back-2-back years.. and i dont think the sweetH2O wildcats can do it... this game will show me how polk will play the rest of the season, its the first real test, and the remaining teams on the schedule are not as easy as the first half i promise.. the polk wildcats need to play hard this game to get used to playing hard for the rest of the year, good luck to polk in this one

wow dude were you at the game or did you just hear what happened? first of all the coaches helped us out the whole game and as far as im concerned the coaching plays a huge role in any game... sure we had some players and so did they but the players dont make the calls and all that stuff!!! the "pooch" kick was called but it was supposed to go to the thirty... mike just hit it wrong.. and as far as the rest of the game we beat ourselves and a lot of people called the staff at polk stupid, thats not the case... and some called the staff at central "great" and thats not the case either... nothin against their coaches but they are not as good as the polk staff... and they didnt "let" me score late in the 4th you can see on the tape they tried to tackle me... but yet again they tried to claim coaching "excellence"... which was not the case.... and on to the howard game... the call would have been great if it would have worked, it didnt so you say that... and here is my point, you said run it, well say we did and it didnt work, you would be on here saying o they should have passed it.. but we didnt and its over so just drop the whole bad call thing cause you would NOT have done any better... are you a polk fan??? just askin

i think if polk losses this game they should walk all the way back to good ole polk county and think about the game the whole way back........ with that being said i think the wildcats should role!!!! the d did good last week and have done good so far... the offense looked better against tellico, but it was tellico... in all honesty i wanna start sayin names cause im pretty dang proud of the of the guys i used to play with.. but since i like em and ive had my name on here before and know what comes out of it im not goin to.. but good luck this friday i wont be there play hard and get it done!!!!! o and polk wildcat next time you see "bunny" a.k.a. 44-0 final polk won...... tellico is not much better than last year and polk still hasn't been tested... i hope the wildcats don't get the big head.... good luck to tellico for the rest of the season.... great game wildcats keep it up!!!

that may be true but if you look at it without just looking at the final scroe then that is kinda irrelevant.. for instance when notre dame has beat us a few times we were screwed over by the refs, it would have took a lot to beat goodpasture, now tyner we had a few chances at beating them but not many, and we shouldn't have lost to howard(either time but we did, some bad calls were there too), White house is always tough, but tellico im not sure about them........................ im gonna have to do some research on that.... anyway the whole reason for this post was to say that its all up to the players out on the field the coaches can only do so much and if the boys wanna win then they have to bust it every play.... not many polk teams, if any lately, have "underestimated" teams...

Lenoir City is not very good, and CAK can play but they don't "show up" for every game... im not saying loudon is a bad team i just said they were down... as compared to past loudon teams in the last few years

not only did they compete with white house but they beat white house, station camp beat them in regular season and peral cohn beat them in the 3rd round of the playoffs.. it seems like you might have went to white house from the info you gave, do i know you?

my lord that is a hard schedule..... i would rank that in the top ten in the state as of now.. but if those teams do good and tyner beats them.... it makes it look that much better.. but if tyner losses then you can blame it on that insane schedule... but you never get better playing bad teams so why not play like that..

i agree totally with that.... i don't think we deserved to be on the same field as white house... don't get me wrong we earned the chance to play them but they were the better team by a mile... and as far as our region turning things around against region 4.... not this year and i don't see it anytime soon... there 4th seed is gonna be better than our 1 seed 9 time out of 10.... they hit harder than any team we played in regular season, they were more disiplined (even more than us), they were faster,stronger,bigger,better,smarter, and did i say they were a lot better than us?.... man its not like we didn't try.. i busted it for 4 quarters and i still barely has possitive yardage(if i even did).. we had a few good plays but it was everything we had to get the ball on the right side of the line of scrimmage... we had 1 good thing in that game.. my hero's field goal.... did that answer your Q?

that hit the nail right on the head (or however that goes) when your a wildcat you don't just GET playing time you EARN it...

1-Ooltewah 2-McCallie 3-South Pittsburg 4-McMinn Central 5-Cleveland 6-Tyner 7-Baylor 8-Red Bank 9-Howard 10-Polk County After the polk-howard game there might be a little switch.... but all in all i think its way too early to tell who the top teams around are.... and really central hasn't been tested yet, they have played "down" loudon and meigs teams and oliver springs.... l8r in the season there will only be a few teams that remain the same but who knows its tennessee high school football you can't rule any game out until it is played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think polk's defense will give up 21 to tellico.. and i dont think the bears defense will hold polk to 27.. i expect touchdowns to come from defense, special teams, and the offense this week.. go out and get it done then go and relax in the locker room, we took care of business early in the game last year, improved tellico or not the starters shouldn't see the 4th quarter..

ok polk is 2-0 and im not sure what tellico is but i know they beat grundy last week... polk seems to win despite mistakes and telllico is finally in the winners circle again.... i think polk should win this game easily, with it being homecoming the wildcats are sure to be pumped up.. or can the bears come out to larry g davis field and pull off the upset and spoil the homecoming?? the topics here lets get it going!!

i dont think central will have much trouble with sequoyah... and to thug dadi you must really be a chiefs fan too cause with polk, howard, east ridge, and central all doing battle for playoff births i dont see any other teams but them getting in........ but you never know.. anyway if central respects sequoyah like a lot of people say they do, and with the bad blood not being there like with polk and meigs then the chagers should not run the score up against the chiefs... it comes down to a couple of things.... pride is a huge factor, i mean it really means somethin to wear that helmet.... the little league program here is amazing all the boys love to play... coaching is a huge factor from off-season workouts to the final play in overtime... and all in all polk county will NEVER be afraid to knock your head off.. thats what the difference is.. i think.
