oneida wartburg game was pretty wild halftime it was 42-25 but in the third and early 4th wartburg came back and got it as close as 51-50 but oneida pulled it out and won by around 10.

both of these teams are missing some key things from last year.. greenback is missing a lot of talent and skill from last year.. oneida is missing alot of talent and heart/pride from last year.. i expect oneida to win off of their skill players (which will be a few big plays for td's..if they have to grind it out it will be a very close game, oneida is just to weak in the trenches lost way to much strength from last year)... greenback - 7 oneida - 35

I'll be completely honest with you guys.. i dont think any team in morgan county will be any good this year... Wartburg lost Way to much and shannon and goodman aren't enough to even win the district more less the state?? thats crazy volfan.. Oakdale will surprise a few teams.. But all 3 teams will be trailing Oneida and Oz in the district talent-wise.. Jellico also steps into the district they will be the best team wait and see.. Oz and Jellico will play for the championship in our district.. Wesley Rather for Oz is a beast not to mention Tyler Harper 6'5 probably 300 lbs. . . Morgan County is down this year.

I agree but when you look at the two times these teams played Duncan wore him out when they were against eachother, but i understand what your saying. Both players are good at they do.

I agree with this group more than any, but i think i would rather have one of the two posts from Oneida than Harper, Duncan or Laxton would be a better choice i believe. 2 of the most underrated players in the region. 1. Slusher 2. Pridemore 3. Raby 4. Titlow 5. Carter 6. Bunch 7. Rather 8. Laxton 9. Duncan 10. Sexton 6 guards and 4 bigs. Not to mention everyone of these players can create for themselves.

I said out of all 8 teams man not just the last few that was playing you have 4 kids from OZ on here and 2 of them wouldnt be in the top 15 to 20 in the region.. You have left out players from harriman, sunbright, oneida, greenback, and wartburg.

I think it seems like since they are so close the basketball players go to wartburg and the football players go to coalfield.. i mean look at these programs... wartburg basketball is always good, football is always terrible. coalfield football is usually always good, basketball not always. Plus they are going through a spell where there are not many talented kids coming through their system it will all be better in a few years.

Lets change the subject. Because noones opinion matters in this situation. Out of the 8 teams that were in this tournament to start, if you could have a team of 10 players, any number of them from any team, to represent the Region in games against the other Regions. who would be your 10 guys?

Nobody sees it coming but Oneida will have a good talented group next year... Great freshman class coming up. Not to mention a few upperclassmen suppose to be coming out to play. You have to realize in the 07-08 season Oneida had 7 freshman that could flat out play and about 5 sophomores. All those kids are apparently coming back out to play for Coach Yaden next year. Those will be Seniors and Juniors now. On the other hand the other team in the district that will more than likely win the thing is Jellico they return everybody but 1 and they are a solid group of players.

Does Rockwood just play to the level of their competition or what?? Only beating Sunbright by 11 is not a good sign at all. But in the Grace game they will run OZ to death... Rather is the only thing they have on the perimeter when every guard that grace has can play. Not only that but when you have Harper in the game for OZ if it becomes a running game it is basically 5 on 4 the whole time he is not in very good shape.

If the other 3 games were anything like the oneida grace game they were fantastic.... Other than Grace coming out and destroying the Indians for the first 6 to 7 minutes it was a great game... The end got a little out of hand and the 10 point loss should've actually been 5 or less but a few technicals for the Oneida coach with less than 5.0 to go caused a few more points to get put up than what should've. Great game after seeing this one I believe Grace will win this tournament. I believe they played the toughest one they'll play in the whole tournament tonight. Oneida was a underrated 3 seed. Great win for Grace. Ill pick Grace over OZ by atleast 20 next round, and Wartburg over Rockwood by 4.

the only thing i dont understand about the class shown by grace is that #34 played the whole game im pretty sure... never came out one time i dont think.. but oh well great season hopefully next year things will gel out much better sooner and they'll get things turned around..

Grace would/will run OZ out of the gym... OZ cant match up with 4 guards on the court especially with harper in the game...imo if i was grace id run it up and down if it happens that way
