Take it for what it's worth Gallatin is a hard environment to play in and the officials never make it easier when playing at Gallatin. Never said this incident had anything to do with that. Also didn't I read that the official tried to belittle the player by asking him how long he had been playing football? Sounds like an unnessisary nonprofessional comment. Regardless this whole situation stinks and was blown out of proportion because of Texas.

Out of respect for the young man and his family this needs to be dropped and not talked about again. Please just let this be and put yourself in their shoes. Thanks in advance.

I know the kid and coach in question personally. I have even prayed with the young man before our games. He is a strong Christian and stands by his faith. It was an honest accident and I'm sure the official was approached by him instantly. Only reason it's getting attention is due to what happened in Texas. Officials get knocked down accidentally all the time. It's part of the game.

Facilities in Metro are strictly on the HC and his staff. They must maintain and build up facilities as needed. If you need up grades fundraise. Just like college if you need players go get them. If you need facilities raise the money for them. Metros maintenance department will not up keep facilities in Metro and everyone who applies for a HC job knows this and if they don't they shouldn't apply.

Im not sure what your beef is with CoachT but it seems you are upset or jealous about something. From the outside looking in CoachT does a great job managing and maintaining a program. MJ facilities are amazing and it takes a lot of work outside of coaching to keep those facilities nice. As far as coaching, CoachT is very knowledgable of the game and all aspects of the game are covered each week in practice. Coach Perry does have a backseat roll but helps the entire staff become better coaches day in and day out. Coach Perry's finger prints are all over the MJ program and is a motivator and leader among the staff including his son. All I's are dotted and T's are crossed when MJ rolls in on Friday nights. The program is ran the way a program should be run. MJ has a great strength program which CoachT has a very active roll in alongside the strength & conditioning coach. MJ has very few injuries if any at this point of the season strictly do to the strength and conditioning program. As far as telling someone to rent a truck, that is ridiculous. This is not college football. Players are not picked from a handful of athletes across the country like college and a man's job (who he spills sweat, blood and tears, and lots of time away from family) should not be threatened do to average records and the kind of athletes given year in and year out. Remember these are high school kids and it takes a very special group to go all the way. MJ is working to be that special group each and every day and MJ has a great group of kids. All teams hit adversity year in and year out. How each team overcomes adversity is up to that specific group and the leadership amongst teammates. Head Coaches are not always the good guys. They must be strict and disciplined and CoachT is exactly that. The game this friday should be a good one and both teams will play with a lot of heart which is exactly what high school football is all about. Good Luck to both teams.

Coach Chadwick Germany is the new coach's name. He is currently an assistanst coach at La Southern. I have heard Coach Williams is a great coach as well. All final candidates would have been a good choice.

Getting assistants is tough in Metro. But I do believe good head coaches can mold assistants into great assistants. It is the head coaches job do get his assistants on the same page as him to make a team and coaching staff successful.

Lol don't worry about me. I am surrounded by wise leaders.

I believe a coach who cares about the school and all other programs at that school instead of just his football program will have a principal on his side and will be able to do a lot more things than one who is only involved in his program and to busy for others once the football season is over.

The alumni at Hunters Lane show lots of support. I know for a fact that the classes from 1998-2007 are seen frequently at many sporting events and have many get togethers to reunite former team and classmates.

Does anyone have any 7 on 7 tournaments going on this coming summer?
