The county teams are in a better position of winning against GHS than they have been in a long time. WG will probably have as many players on the sideline as Greeneville. They have a whole new attitude and a former Greeneville coach. SG is loaded as well and hungry for win #2 against the Devils. I hope you guys continue to think it's in the bag this season while the county teams are having 2-a-days. Last year they were better at football. This year hasn't begun yet. We'll have to wait and see.

Didn't Crockett smoke the Devils you know what in a spring scrimage. Heard Greene Devils offense is nothing to brag about this year but the D was ok. Also heard alot of folks were worried about playing some of the county teams this year. Attention District 2 - 2A: Just thought you should know GHS posters are proclaiming they will be the "BIG DOGS" next year and they say we are "weak"! Those poor souls are going to have to schedule tougher non-conference games next year so they will be ready for the play-offs. South Greene Rebels congrats on a tough battle at Loudon, even though the score didn't end up in your favor. The scoreboard doesn't reflect the heart and team bond you guys really have. So proud of how you worked together and took care of each other, on and off the field. Matt P, Seth M, Michael, Josh, Seth B, Spencer, Matt Y, Josh & Buddy you guys may be leaving us this year but you will not be forgoten or replaced & will be greatly missed. Just couldn't ask for a better bunch of Senoirs than we were blessed with this year. You are fine young men. Good luck to all of you in everything you do after you graduate. The last time SG played @ NG a couple of NG player's were ejected from the game by the refs for unsportsman like conduct. A couple of other NG players started beating on a SG player (in the 3rd quarter) after tackling him. That's why the refs stopped the game in the 3rd quarter. Then the some of the NG players from their locker room beat on the walls & doors of SG's locker room and cursed & threatened the SG players. It was the worst case of poor sportsmanship I had ever seen. No we didn't forget. As for the SG B-team scoring on WG B-team that's great, we were very happy to see them win too. The same WG players from Friday night's game were not playing in the B-team game on Mon. as SG didn't have the same guys out there.

South Greene has beaten West Greene and Cumberland Gap in season play. If C. Gap beats WG and SG beats NG, SG & C. Gap would have the same region record 4 - 2. SG season record would be 6 - 4, C Gap would be 7 - 3, so would be 3rd or would both be wildcards? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Prayers from Greene county. So terrible for young live to be cut so short. We lost 2 great West Greene boys in a car crash last week here in Greene county. Our hearts break for all the familes and friends of these kids.

It's definitely true, as well as stomping people on the ground and many other cheap shots. Don't count on a fair game at GP(serious home cookin). SG couldn't even get a fair call @ home. GP's coach got a call CHANGED (1st time I've Ever saw that) by whinning about it (it changed the outcome of the game) and the reverse call was pitiful, if I was that ref I would be ashamed to show my face. GP can't handle not playing teams like NG where they can win 70-0. GP knows how they won the game against SG and so do the fans who were there and saw it. The Rebs played a great game and left it all on the field, too bad a bunch of bull & crybabies kept the REAL winners from a well deserved victory. I it hate for the team (SG) they got robbed of the win. STUPID ADULTS with their own agendas. When will grownups learn it's not about them!
