  1. Campbell County has a new coach on campus. Jerry Mynatt (was) the assistant head coach at Brevard College, NC. Formerly the head coach at Pikeville College for 4 yrs. Seems to be the real deal. Will he make this a competing football program? Here is his bio: Jerry Mynatt
  2. Story was TN defense Player of the game and All Border Bowl Team Evans was Border Bowl Defense MVP, TN Player of the game, and All Border Bowl Team. Congratulaions to the whole TN Team!
  3. Praying for them all. God is the great physician.
  4. Story had a good game. #57 caused the fumble and Story ran it back. They played well together. I wish him the best.
  5. Thank you! The game will be shown Sunday, January 23rd @6pm on MyVLT. I personally emailed WVLT (that I was told was covering the game) and Rick Russo provided me with the info. It was shown live in KY but not in TN. Thank you again!
  6. TN beat KY 28-18 TN played a great game! Way to go guys! I am very proud of my son #57 Keenan Evans (CC) that brought home trophies for: *Border Bowl Defensive Player of the Game *TN Player of the Game *Border Bowl All Unite Team
  7. My son son has been contacted but we haven't heard the rest of the roster yet. The coaches are listed on their website. http://www.ky-tn-borderbowl.com/
  8. My son had a blast! Memories he will never forget as well as friends for life! Mine didn't do as well, he went with 100.00 and came back with 4.00! lol His choice of course. It makes me very proud to see how well the East came together and they seem like old friends now. He has talked to most of them several times since Saturday. I have heard so many stories. This was a chance of a lifetime if nothing else for the friendships.
  9. In all fairness my son played for the East. And I have to say the West head coach was pretty bad in that game situation. It did seem he just wanted to be seen and stir things up instead of coaching. Coach Blade played his players very fair. They traded out series. I was very pleased with their playing time. Great job East!
  10. My son played for the East and I was present and Tallent was announced and awarded the defensive MVP at the game. His family walked out as we did and he was carrying his trophy. Awesome job!
  11. Evans from CC ran a 4.54 as a lineman. He done very well in lifting 185lb 29 times. Last yr he was 10th overall in lifting this yr he moved to 2nd.
  12. Mavs stepped it up in the second half. Was too close for comfort first half. Blakely impresses. Roberts does well, also. What I liked about McCoy was the "attitude" adjustment he gave #54 for the Cougars. I know this kid and his parents. It's been a long time coming. I'm still not satisfied or comfortable with the qb situation. Sorry,MM. I know you are a big fan of Williams. Williams will struggle as the season progresses and the teams we play get better. I will give Williams credit, though. JP has done wonders with the kid and he has improved. Good defenses will give this kid a hard row to hoe. Kesterson did well this evening , also. This kid always shows up at the ball. Will make a play when you need a play. Mabe did exceptionally well. Glad to see him touch the ball again and score. This needs to happen more often! You know my son #54 (oh, I guess you know our whole family!) Talk is cheap. Last time I checked this was football! My son gives what he gets and then some. He's doesn't back down. That's what football is all about! You go talk to your coaches. One in particular has said he would love to have #54! Mavs have 2 of the best coaches around now. I respect their coaching ability tremendously. #54 ask the ref if he could tie his shoe and the ref says go ahead. He blows the whistle and a Mav jumps, play whistled dead and they cheap shot my son. So that makes you better than us how? Obviously you live in CC and go or went to AC. So man up. This is football. AC played a good game. I didn't come on here and bash any of their players. Just because #54 dished out punishment all night doesn't make him a bad person but a good football player! I will be at every CC game if you need to discuss this any further. Thank you
  13. Please know that my family and I are keeping your family in prayer. My son plays at CC and wears the #54. He will proudly wear it this year in remembrance of Jake. May God comfort and wrap His arms around you. Give you the strength you need for this journey. God Bless
  14. I don't really see how calling people names is going to determine who wins! Friday night...ALL be there! It will be laid out on the field. The scoreboard will tell! Sevier talked their trash and they were still losing by 3 touchdowns. But in the end, SCOREBOARD!
  15. The way we played Bearden last year and came oh so close! This Cougar team is better all around. So I don't see a close game. I think we will beat them by a large margin this year. This is the "Year of the Cougar"
