  1. make fun it you like, but ask the 2 (and possibly the 3rd and 4th) UT freshman who have lost their scholarships and positions on the team for less than manly actions. likely they were their high school teams "best" and took them to championships.
  2. you know, it's only football, only a game. some of us tend to take it a bit too seriously at times. the boys learn from winning and, likely even more, from losing. those of us who play, haven't ever played, or don't play anymore should support our boys, win or lose, in becoming better men and fathers of the future.
  3. Well b2b2b2... sounds like you're letting your farragut "friend" tweak you. move on.
  4. Like it or not, these two teams already played and the better team walked off the field with a W. Now, that doesn't mean that Maryville will win tomorrow. It just means that Farragut talked ___ for years, they finally got to play that "one team" who would get destroyed by the big boys and they lost.....at home! If Farragut wins tomorrow night, that means that these teams are 1-1 and we can't say who the better one is BUT until that happens Maryville is the better team. So based on that, the better team wins tomorrow! don't get your panties in a wad! It's all about who moves on after tomorrow!
  5. Congrats to ALL the players that made the roster!!
  6. I sure do love all this Maryville will win it stuff!!
  7. Cletus, thanks for that last message. Too much trash and too little credit is given to such great West Knox programs. Thanks for the kind words.
  8. Bearden is way too predictable. All they have is 33. On 3rd and short (or long) they'll go to Young. Farragut's gonna key on him and he'll go down. Farragut's got the defense to stop 'em. Farragut's got the offense, running and passing, to score and score and score and .....
  9. You keep wondering! I, for one, (and I think that most Farragut fans) think the world of our coaches. Perhaps you and many others forget that playing and competing is not always about winning championships. It's about teaching our young men the values that will serve them in their adult lives. If our Farragut coaches never take us to another championship game I will still value the impact they've had in our son's lives. So think again before you complain. I'll thank the Farragut coaching staff for helping my son be a better person while you bemoan a high school football game loss that likely won't be remembered a few years into their adult lives.
  10. Wow! You guys have traditionally had a great program....still do. It's a shame that this game has you bickering among one another.
  11. Farragut beat Ooltewah with a less than stellar Browning performance. Likely won't happen two weeks in a row. Bearden, are you ready?
  12. Great post! This is the kind of game any true "lover of the game" would enjoy.
  13. Solomon, Do you want to delete this one? Why would he? "This" one only supports those who support!
