  1. Reoccuring theme for TCA. Clock management is not one their strong suits, either before half or at the end of games. As for the officiating, it was pretty good I thought. There were several calls that could have gone either way for either team. It didn't determine the outcome. Anybody have receiving stats on this game? For some reason the Jackson Sun didn't publish them.
  2. Kicked it on second down, with 8 seconds to go, after letting the clock run for about 15 seconds the play before, with timeouts remaining.
  3. 32 yards I believe. Ball was on the 15.
  4. Disagree. I thought the kick was low and regardless, nice job of calling kids out and placing blame for a loss. They are a team. Second, how can you leave Adamsville with timeouts remaining? TCA showed some of the poorest clock management I have ever seen. They were pretty much moving the ball at will on the last drive and with any clock management at all could have scored the TD. Why put it in the hands of the kicker when you don't have to? History shows too much can go wrong. Third, Adamsville is a very talented team. Better defensively than I thought they would be. If you had said before game "TCA holds Adamsville to 12 points" I would have said TCA wins that. Maybe we will get to see this match-up again, since all in all, it was one of the best games of the year.
  5. How is Adamsville's passing game? I haven't kept up with it much.
  6. A quick refresher on ucdiditagain's posts about this game: • I'm telling you folks....TCA hasn't played a old school football team/style like Union City. • Can't stop it....watch it!!! • I don't think TCA has been hit in the mouth like what will happen tonight.. • Union City By ?????? Several
  7. Well it doesn't look like TCA got the message about being hit in the mouth by UC.
  8. Well that makes no sense at all. So if your nephew comes to your house and takes money from your wallet, you're saying just leave it out there again? That's like putting a fox right in the hen house and then getting mad when he eats the chickens.
  9. I'm sorry, but if you already had a problem once before with someone posting using your name, then why wouldn't you just simply click the "Logout" link?
  10. Regardless, there are two suspensions that should occur from the tape review. One, the only player who threw a punch among the minor pushing and shoving, that must be dealt with as there is no room for that period. And two, the entire officiating crew permanently, as this must have been one of the worst officiated games ever. Everything else was minor.
  11. OK then, back to the game. TCA played great defensively if you consider that USJ only had two real scoring drives. The other score came on a blown coverage which resulted in that long pass play. USJ played brilliantly on defense. It was as if they knew exactly what play was being called every time. The player's quotes in the paper confirm that: "We had already seen everything they ran and practiced it all week." After one half of that, TCA should have done something different, especially considering the game didn't mean anything. Impressive night defensively for #5 and #1 for TCA and #40 and #79 for USJ. Offensively #11 and #21 for USJ and there really wasn't any offense for TCA. Until the last drive they had more penalty yards than total offensive yards. That's pretty rare. Strange game all told.
  12. The pushing and shoving at the end of the game was fairly tame and could be expected from the way this game was officiated, however the only player throwing blindside punches was really the only one completely out of line. Watch the tape and who that player is will be obvious.
  13. Left out several other key players that play both ways, any particular reason?
  14. What makes calls like that incredible is the fact that four or five people (refs) must get together to decide to go against common sense, without reprecussions.
  15. What a game! Too bad it was largely influenced by the refs. I have never seen so many unbelieveable calls and non calls ever. We're not talking about little holding calls. TCA lost a down during one of its drives. Does Offensive Pass Interference result in a loss of down plus 15 yards? CC players were twice forced out of bounds and the ref just kept winding the clock. Can a disk be sent to TSSAA for review? I just think this entire ref team should never call another game. It was that bad.
  16. But can they handle the USJ offense?
  17. If TCA is happy with that win, then the rest of the season will be long hard road. Very very sloppy. Entirely too predictable on offense.
  18. Here is a deal, I will study on the facts if you will study anything, but in particular the English language and the spelling thereof. You cannot be taken seriously with that many errors in your post. It is so bad that it basically has no meaning.
  19. Sorry but GC isn't really that good and basically TCA beat themselves. GC will be lucky to win one more game, Dresden.
  20. Oh, I'm sorry. How's this? The two interceptions, the two passes into defenders hands, the fumble, the two dropped passes, the decision not to go for two, and several missed tackles were all significant factors in the loss. Maybe we should just not keep score so as to not offend anyone. Riduculous when you can't even say a player or players had a bad game. Sometimes there are things in life that we don't like but that actually make us a better person or player in the long run.
  21. Nobody said he wasn't a great player and nobody said he wasn't the real deal and nobody said he wouldn't make it to Division I. What was said was that he had a bad game. Are the posters here so blind that it changes the way a player's performance is viewed? So in that sense, I guess NFL players never have bad games huh? Why is everyone so sensitive? That is the problem in my opinion. If someone cannot politely express the reasons why a game was lost then what is the point? Read without instant judgement. Fact remains, he had an off game. Period. And it doesn't mean much more than that. Coaches did too and that doesn't mean much more than that either.
  22. Sorry to be the one to open the blinds here, but if you are going to say he is the difference when they win, then be prepared when he has a bad game to call it what it is. The real problem in that game was play calling. The other offensive weapons were barely used and then to not go for the two point conversion when up 23-19 was, quite frankly, something you would expect from a first year coaching staff. Not meant to be mean, just calling it like it is. JW is definitely a great player, no question.
  23. You are right about one thing, Jabriel was the difference all right. The reason they lost, that is. 8-17 for 163 yards passing with two interceptions and GC dropped two more. If he had any rushings yards, maybe he had 40. Once again you have proven your ineptness when it comes to posting on CoachT. By the way someone can't throw for 4 TDs if the team only scored 24 pts and had a field goal as well.
  24. Lots of coaching mistakes by TCA tonight. Coaching around one player definetly did not work tonight, three turnovers and could have been two more. Also, why does TCA almost play a full half before game time? Longest warm ups I've ever seen. Team looked sluggish tonight. Manassas is twice as talented as GC so something just wasn't right.
