Thank you. I agree nice place to catch a game. Just wish the community would come out and support these boys like we had in years past. There would be no sitting room and the fence would be lined all the way around the field. I guess when the team aint winning you find out who the true fans are. Anyways off the ranting hope both teams come out injury free. Boyd hope we can give you guys a decent game worth the drive up.

It's tough right now in Polk but Coach Davis is doing the best with what he has. We have had a few that quit. Very young but showing fight. Just hoping these young me. Will stick with it. Because it will pay off next year and the year after for sure. Boyd fans have a safe trip up Friday night and check out the Wildcat Cafe

Yes we had some great teams in the past. But like was said earlier we are young and in a tough region. The talent has dropped but with all these young men getting playing time Coach Davis will right the ship. This year and last are tough but next year should be better and the year after that Polk should be back to normal Polk if these young men stay with it.

Yes us Polk fans will take are lumos this year. I believe Polk will improve as the season goes along with all the young guys we have. Next year we should see Polk rounding back into form. Hope for and I jury free game tonight on both sides.

Polk will have a tall order Friday with all the young players they have. Tyner has a lot of experience returning. Hate to pick against my Wildcats but I think Tyner wins this one.

I hear that. Our numbers are low as well. But Coach Davis has the ones that want to compete and work and I'll take that even with them being young. I like the attitudes with the players we have this year. I can see a difference in them from last season.

Polk has a lot of young players this year. A bunch of freshmen and sophomores will see playing time. Believe the start of the season be a little rough but towrads the middle and end should be looking decent. Glad the younger guys will be seeing game time build for the future for sure. But looking forward to the season and some Polk football.

Davis from Polk is a great coach. And that CAK game you are talking about there was some very questionable calls by the refs that game. I never blame the refs but when I was standing in line at the concession stand and heard a ref that was there to watch said this is the worse game I've ever seen by the refs I knew we was in trouble. But anyways I hope Davis stays at Polk a great coach when that Rankin man calls him up to help with defense after CAK beat us. But by some very small chance Davis left and went to SP you guys would win some more Gold Balls thats for sure.

Been enjoying the post on this all week. I can not wait for the game tomorrow. Should be a good one but see Alcoa pulling away in the second half. Good luck to both teams and a injury free game. This one pretty much is for the Championship IMO.

The down marker this year our regular guy moved up to running the scoreboard. So I got moved up to the down marker lol.

All you guys have a safe trip up to Benton tonight. I hope we give you guys a good game. Probably be a lot of young guys in for us to fill in the injuried players. No us faithful and loyal fans know this happens every now and then and we don't want Davis gone. IMO he has done a great job over the years and this year just been rough and like Charlie said had some that quit on their teammates. Just bothers me that we have fair weather fans aslo the stands have been half full most of the season. These young men deserve to have the fan support for showing up and giving it their all every Friday night.

Ole Roy there might be a lot of changes after this season.
