Whats everyones thought on this game? Could be a great game to get the younger players some reps for the Wildcats this week.

I agree I was running the chains and he knew the clock was screwed up and that it was over. He has alays been that way ever since he started back in 2000 my freshman year. Once again good luck to you guys in the postseason,

Also sorry just work has been crazy and been real busy with the household got twin boys on the way been getting things ready for that. You are right its a nice this time a year for sure. Finally game day. Sorry been real busy with work this week. Should be a great game tonight between to tough teams and teams that respect each other. I for one thinkk Peanut runs the best concession stand around these parts. Also Roy be nice to see you at the game I'll be running the chain on the sideline as always. I pull for Polk and since my little brother was a senior on the 2010 team that was one of the best times in my life watching him and his friends play. Watched those boys since little league. But on to this game I expect this game to be close and hard fought the whole game. Miller will be hard to stop the kid is a work horse but SP has two very good backs to what I've seen and heard that Polk will have to stop. Polk's defense will have to make sure tackles as well as SP on Miller. Also I'm glad to see we all can get along since the first time we played a couple of years ago these boards got a little crazy. Hope all the SP fans have a safe trip up to Benton friday night and all the players come out injury free with the playoffs coming up. Also to TheAmbassador I pull for SP when they ain't playing against my Wildcats and expect to see you guys in Cookeville again I enjoy making that trip every year adn SP is always there good Luck to you guys.

Miller stats was 412 yards on 44 carries with 6tds. He just put that head down and ran over through and around the Chiefs tonight. Great game for the young man tonight also Coach Davis getting that 100th win all with Polk and the Wildcats winning 4 straight District Championships. Now got to get back to work got a tough game this week with Pirates coming to Benton.

Been waiting on this game and making the trip up the mountain friday night. Polk has to not make mistakes friday night and force some turnovers and let the running game work the clock. SM passing has me worried. I hope this is a great game and a injury free game for both teams. Hoping the Wildcats can come back down the mountain with the win.

Polk 37 to Central 19. Polk still to much for the Chargers. But I'll give credit were its due Central has improved.

Ok this is what I have to say about this game. Forget all the past teams if we go by the past the 2010 Allen and Hargrove and the rest of that senior class could have put up a hundred points in that game and central and central would have never crossed the 50. Remember that game the 1st stringers went one series on offense and defense then they was on the bench. Ok off that Polk played Bradley just as close you take the turnovers away in the red zone that is a different game at half time. From what I've heard from some of my friends that support the Chargers that County had turnovers in the redzone that game so that game could've been County up big at half. Also Polk has mercy ruled the Chargers the last 3 years and everyone else is the district. So I don't see why everyone thinks Polk is just going to lay down and get beat. Coach Davis will have the Wildcats ready to play thursday with that hard hitting and samsh mouth football no coach in the district has figured out how to stop. Yes the Chargers have improved but imo still a year away. For that scrimmage with Notre Dame the Wildcats also had guys not playing. Guess we will find out thursday night.

I agree with you on that. I just haven't seen either team this year and excited bout tomorrow to see what they have.Thats why i haven't posted much I do know Polkis smaller then the past few years.

Polk also lost a lot of talent from last year. I'm excited to see how this game goes. Expect nothing but smashmouth and hard hitting and swarming D from Polk. Bradley haven't heard much from them only that they lost some great players. The one thing I see Bradley having and edge on Polk is the size of Bradley. Polk is smaller then the past couple of years but Davis always finds the players that will play hard and with pride. Can't wait till friday the season starts. Polk is smaller this year then the past couple of years. Polk has always had a smashmouth team and will get after you the whole game. Hoping for a great year and seeing the younger guys step up this year. The younger guys will improve as the season rolls on and be fine. Coach Davis always has his players ready to play and play with heart, pride, and great sportsmanship.

Polk will be a little undersized this year but knowing Coach Davis and his staff they will have a tough hard nose team. Coach Davis always finds the players that will play hard and with Pride the whole game. Looking forward to watching a lot of the younger guys step up this year.

Polk did play only freshmen and sophomores on the JV the best to my knowledge. I think Polk graduate around 10 to 13 can't remb right off hand. The JV played good last year and most of these players will have to step up this year. Looking forward to watching the Miller kid play the young man is a beast.

So what do people think about Polk this year? I know they lost Akins and Saxe and some good size on the lines. Who do you think will step up this year. Coach Davis always finds a way to find the talent he needs to replace the players that left. Just wondering on everyone thoughts.
