I hope he has a fast recovery. I was puling for you guys and when I seen him get hurt I felt so bad for him. But I think it did in a way. I believe we at Polk have to work on the pass game to get there. Don't get me wrong I love how we play that smash mouth football. I was excited to see you guys come home with the gold ball. Nothing but respect from Polk. Once again tell your son he is one heck of a ball player and the CAK players they play with class and Pride. Congrats once again.

Congrats to CAK on getting the Championship from a Polk fan. Sorry its a little late beenin Cookeville all weekend. I didn't mean any disrespect towards AE. I wish I could make this game it should be a good one. Had to pick a team and since we have played CAK and meet some fine people from there thought I would pull for them in this one. Good luck to both teams and a injury free game. Yes he does and is a great man. I have know over 10 years and his dad Larry the OC for polk I have know for almost 18 years. They both have made and impact on my life besides my own dad. Coach Davis is a class act and its more then jsut football with him and his staff they care about the young men on the team. He demands respect not just to him and his staff but the game and the other team. Almost every player that comes out of there grads with honors. Thanks footballdad for bringing this up. Also I'm sure former players will agree with me Coach Davis is a great man and impacted are lives. Also sure to miss the Halo nights at the field house lol.

If you read my post I said I didn't have a problem with it. Like some said you play to win the game. Polk job was to cover the punter also never just think that they will kick the ball. I hope CAK goes all the way. Nothing but respect here for CAK.

Tough lost for the Wildcats tonight. It was great to meet FootballDad tonight. But to the game Polk came out like I was afraid they would flat but thats no excuse CAK has a great program. Thanks seniors for the hardwork you but in. Also Central fans don't you have a thread to post on abou your Coach. Yes Polk can't get past the 2nd round but at least they are playing in the second round. IMO I think Polk would do better if they was in a different district. Coach Davis does a great job with the talent he has and one day they will gt there. Go ahead and say I'm crazy but they just got to keep working nd getting better. Yes last year teams was one of the better teams to come through Polk. Polk doesn't have the luxury of open enrollment or being a privite school they got to work with what they got. CAK took it to us tonight and good luck t you guys. And going for it on 4th and 2 nothing wrong there had to try it during a game. If they wanted they could have left the starters in and ran it up. I'l be up at Cookeville and hope to see CAK there. Thanks agian 24, 33, 39, 61, 64, and 73 for the hard work. CAK can lay the lumber also. If Polk don't make any mistakes then they can win but not by 2 tds. This game will be close with both teams hitting hard. CAK impressed me with the way they took the hits last year and also the way they hit. That comes from the tough teams they play through the season.

Sounds good. Just wondering do you a kid playing? My brother played the last four years and was a senior last year on the team. Well I'm looking forward to meeting such a respected guy from CAK. I have read some great post from you and wish everyone on here would act that way. Looking forward to watching 39 for Polk and 24 on offense. Looking for a big night from 40 and 35 on defense.

Dude are you crazy was you at the game last week he carried the ball 27 times and had over 100 yards for the night and he played in the last game of the season. 39 will be ready to go and is a force. Known the kid since he was 5 years old great kid and plays hard. The broke hand is not the hand he carrys with so all is well with 39. I talked with him today and he is ready to go.

Sorry haven't got the plus yet I need to get it lol. But I'm 26 about 6'4 and be wearing a red and black under armor pullover and of coarse a red Polk hat lol but so will many others.. I usually get there early also I'll be around the concession stand really don't know what time but should be right when they open the gates.

I can promise you the real Polk fans have nothing but respect for Alcoa and CAK. SOme fans like to get on here and run that mouth but the fans that hace any clue about football know Alcoa and CAK and great teams. I for one wish we could play both in the regular season. IMO thats the only way you get better be playing teams that are better then you. I know are district is not that good but we do play better teams out of district play. I'm looking forward to coming up to CAK again and watching another great football game. Just hoping the Polk team that plays at home will show up friday night. Game day finally. Good luck to both teams tonight and I hope there is no injuries. I have coached most of these seniors when they first started playing football in little league. Would love to see them get the win tonight. hoping for a big night from Saxe and Akins. Also look for 33 Mull to be a factor on the offense. Looking for 40 Farmer and 35 Miller to have a big night for the defense. Kingston fans have a safe trip down to Benton tonight.

If Polk comes out like they did against Meigs and Signal then they have a real good chance to move on. But like someone said they have great games then not so great games. I think Coach Davis and his staff will have them ready to play come friday night. On the Saxe subject yes Signal held him to 30 yards but when we needed those tough short yards Saxe was the one they called on. Akins is a good player also and the defense is pretty good. From what I have read if Kingston turns the ball over its going to be a long night. Looking forward to this game and Polk play with that Heart and Pride you are known for. If you think that was crap then you should've been down there running the chains with me. I have 0 percent respect for Price or his staff. Now on another thread I brought up that some of the players was just like the coach. Don't get me wrong there was some great young men on that team and showed respect but man the things I heard from the coaches and some of the players just shocked me. But I can say Grider has his kids in line and repectful young men. Last year they just showed pride and passion for the game can't blame them there. Can't wait for this game going to be a good battle between to good teams. Hope everyone has a safe trip down to SP and the players on a injury free game. I run the chains for Polk County and have been doing it for 6 years and I woule have to say the coaches and players are direspectful and classless. All I heard was GD and F bombs the whole night from players and coaches. Thats sad the coaches are suppose to be teaching these young men more then jsut about a game about life also. But I hope Seq can give them a fight but if Signal has a chance they will run it up thats how the coach is classless. Good luck to Sequatchie

Can't wait to head down to SP next friday should be a great game. Hope your linemen that got hurt heal fast. Been looking forward to this game since we played Signal. If Polk comes out like they did against Signal and tonight against Seq with that hard hitting and swarwing defense they should come out on top but most of us Polk fans have a lot of respect for SP.
