  1. Nah, but by the sounds of you posters, it seems as if there's going to be a party in the parking lot with all 25+ of your posters.
  2. Oh God, you guys are killing me. Just read 15+ pages of the same old stuff, different day. Why can't this topic be about the game at hand?
  3. Congratulations to you guys too. I'll let you know our guys are ready and fired up for this game. I'm ready to see this game Friday, even though I won't be able to make it.
  4. Alright so South Pittsburg runs a Multiple offense and a base 3-5-3 defense. Wayne County will run a 4-4 defense.
  5. So like a Multiple Offense? Can go from shotgun to I to Offset-I all in one drive? That's hard to defend. What about the defense?
  6. Had to sit in the endzone because I got there about 15 minutes before the game.
  7. Tried to find you at the Wayne County game Friday night.
  8. Dang. South Pittsburg fans are filling this thread up. Football question. What offense and defense does South Pittsburg run?
  9. Man, what a relief. I have one of those. What time is the game again Friday? And does the TSSAA have a schedule out of when the classifications play?
  10. The bad thing is, I don't think I'll be able to make it to this game. 4 1/2-5 hour drive is too much for me. My fingers are crossed that it'll be on my cable TV. I really don't know what I'll do if I can't watch the game.
  11. Just trying to show some support for my team. No hard feelings. I honestly believe that turnovers will be a BIG part of who wins this game.
  12. Boston Ray has the Lineman in the bag. Jacob Tucker has the Back also.
  13. Nah. Didn't hurt my feelings. OH WOW! You can pick teams and guess scores! I'm impressed! Pegleg, here it is bud. I knew it was coming after the Huntingdon victory.
  14. My thoughts 1. This will not be a blowout. 2. South Pittsburg is not going to dominate Wayne County. 3. The game will be a lot closer than people think. 4. It doesn't matter that South Pittsburg won it last year, this is this year. 5. The pre-game warmup wouldn't scare me at all. All you do is walk around and stab a flag in the ground. 6. Strength of schedule doesn't matter at all. Kentucky beat Tennessee yesterday. 7. Wayne County is an extremely physical team. Speed will not be a problem. 8. The veer isn't as easy to stop as you think it is. We have 2-3 backs who run extremely hard and are hard to bring down. 9. PowerP, you're an idiot.
  15. Football stadium is behind the school. Parking is ok, but will fill up pretty fast. More than likely if you get there late, you'll have to park near the road. They did renovations on the stadium a couple of years ago and made it one of the nicest atmospheres in Middle Tennessee. Also, being beside the creek at night, it'll get a little chilly, so bring a coat.
  16. My predictions: South Pittsburg over Gordonsville 35-29 Wayne County over West Carroll 35-14
  17. Good luck to both teams. I think this game will be a lot closer than people think. I'll more than likely be keeping tabs on this game all Friday night. Is there any radio station/website that will show the game?
  18. I just looked at the scores of West Carroll's past games, and all I have to say is...dang. They lost to some pretty bad teams, including South Gibson. Huntingdon beat this team 49-0. This may get ugly, quick.
  19. Pegleg, as I said on another thread, we may both get our wish of Wayne County-South Pittsburg this year. The chances are pretty high.
  20. Pegleg, sounds like we're going to get what we want! South Pittsburg v. Wayne County. As for the game tonight, I wasn't there, but I listened on the radio at the exact moment the supposed "Hail Mary" happened. All I can say is, I almost wrecked my car in the process of celebrating. Congratulations to Huntingdon on a great season. I've never been so happy to be a Wayne County alum in my life. Can't wait till next week! Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, and Wildcat football on Friday! :thumb:
  21. I will not be there tomorrow night, but the Wildcats will still be on my mind all night. Good luck, have an injury-free game, and most of all, have fun. The truth is that one of these teams season is going to be over tomorrow night, so enjoy the time you have while you play. It'll be gone before you know it. With all that being said, I believe that Wayne County overcomes the travel, past issues deep in the playoffs, and the Mustangs to advance to the quarterfinals. This game will be a close game, and will come down to the team who makes the least turnovers. Clock control will also have a big part of this game, because if you keep an team's offense off the field, then they can't score. My prediction: Wayne County-28 Huntingdon-21
  22. After watching the Huntingdon-Perry County game online, I'm going to make a bold prediction: Wayne County will stop Huntingdon's run offense. Things I saw that were positive for Huntingdon: 1. They have depth and sub in players a lot. 2. Their O-Line does a really good job of pulling and getting around to their blocks. 3. Warbritton is an amazing athlete. 4. They have a very fast-paced offense, that can wear you down in the long run. Things I saw that were negative: 1. People said that our D-Line stands up, well so does y'all's sometimes as well. 2. #15 for Huntingdon runs absolutely straight up and down. No level with his pads, and if he keeps doing that, he'll get drilled by someone. 3. All their line does is cut, cut, cut, and cut block some more. I believe if they do that all night, the D-Line will be making sure that their face is in the dirt all night. 4. They're actually really undersized. There's not a lot of big guys who play on both of their lines, and some guys don't even look 200 pounds soaking wet.
