  1. Lynn Haynes-RB-Oliver Springs, had around 2000 yards and 20 td's Joshua Justice and Jeremiah Justice at LB-Oliver Springs, both were forces on defense, dont know exact stats. I also think Givens was the best QB from Kingston.
  2. I too think Harb is a better all-around QB, just Fiegler has all the talent to play with on his team. Although, Fiegler is a very good QB. I've read that NC State, Louisville, Southern Miss, and Indiana have talked to him, and that came from either ESPN or Rivals, I cant remember which. I havent heard anything about teams looking at Harb on the next level, but I'm sure he will go somewhere. If not, TN Tech needs a QB, haha.
  3. "5A- Riverdale @ Cookeville I think this game determines who wins a state title... GO CAVS!!!!!!!" Cav Lineman, dont be so sure that this game will determine state champ. Oak Ridge will more than likely walk all over Faragut, and then I think the best matchup of all would be in week 4 of playoffs, between winner of Riverdale-Cookeville, and Oak Ridge, but thats still a week away.
  4. I didnt see the first game, but Loudon probably is more talented than Oliver Springs, 200 extra students helps that cause, but I think Oliver Springs will be ready for the battle in the trenches and come out with a close win. Give it to Haynes and pull out some play-action pass and things could end very well for Oliver Springs on Friday night. Go Bobcats
  5. Lynn Haynes from Oliver Springs has around 1850 yards, and 19 TDs, in first round of playoffs he had 265 yards and 6 TDs. With a big game in round 2 he can get 2000 for the season, and he is Jr.
  6. First of all, Im picking OS by 6. Second, Kelly is the least of kingstons worries, because he never has to throw the ball. OS is a run dominant team and pass only when they need to. Kelly has become a smart passer which is a very good asset to have when your a running team. I heard a few rumors that OS has gotten a few kids from LA that are supposed to be able to contribute to the team. Anyone else hear anything about this??? Go Bobcats!
  7. I was just gonna throw in Joshua(#36) and Jeremiah(#55), the Justice twins from Oliver Springs. They are the keys to the OS defense. They both cause havoc on the QB and chase down plays from behind. This past week at Rockwood they combined for 4 or 5 sacks, and a blocked punt. Also, they play both ways, which makes it more difficult to keep up their stamina throughout the entire game/season, but so far so good. I havent seen these others that are listed play, but I know the Justice twins are very good at what they do.
  8. If I remember correctly, Coalfield and Oliver Springs have not played since 2000, that being said, a lot of emotion will be shown out there on the field for bragging rights. I'm picking OS 24-13, the defense will be too much and Haynes should rumble for a lot of rushing yards...but I guess we will find out Friday night on the field.
  9. for the guy talking about Oliver Springs...if you knew anything..then you would know that the 4 players from Oliver Springs on this team were the best 4 they had. 2 solid pitchers, 3 solid defensive players, and..im not sure, but signing w/carson newman has to account for something, so before you go criticizing someone...think about what your gonna say.
  10. I might be a little biased about this...but Oliver Springs should be Top 10. They only have lost 3 games. Seymour(Top 5), LA(Top 5), and Obion County. But also..they beat LA, and the Obion loss came the morning after a big win over Giles County. Thats my reasoning...but...Go Lady Cats!!! Also...does anyone know the site for the AP rankings?? For whoever answers...Thanks.
  11. What about Hayes from OS??? He has over 700 rushing yards, a kick return and 8 or 9 TD's..he also has a few INT's
  12. Brad Foust from Oliver Springs is a great OF'r. He has a cannon for an arm, and doesn't miss fly balls. Also, Doug Kyle from OS makes some spectacular plays in the OF. Dustin Smith from Harriman and Brian Reed from Rockwood are also good OF'rs.
  13. Oliver Springs should be a pretty good ball club this season. They lost a few key players from last years team, but they have more experienced players this year. I believe they will be one of the better teams in their district.
