  1. Huntingdon doesn't run a wing t. They run the same offense that allowed little ole lancaster christian to do so well in their second year. They run THE double wing offense. No line splits, double tight, fb up close. Power-counter-wedge, with some play action passes. Lancaster rushed for 3700 yards through 10 games with this explosive offense. It's a beautiful thing. Good luck to Coach Swenson and his team.
  2. You are so clever bigsportsnuts! "as far as the laughs that is what i did when i saw your schedule. i am surprised you did not play red boiling springs". If you saw our schedule you know good and well we played rbs. By the way we assumed we were on the same level as all the schools we played when we scheduled two years ago. People look at our record and think we are some big rich school picking on people. Almost every team we played was equal in numbers and athletes. But hey, thanks for caring nuts.
  3. Tiger, great point about those games. LCA really had to fight in those games to get those scores. LCA is not a strong program/team by any stretch of the imagination. They have low numbers and no feeder system (no middle school team). Not only that, but the administration doesn't value athletics and the future of the program is really in doubt. Next year will be even worse because they lose some valuable players and the TSSAA schedule will be MUCH MUCH more difficult than what they saw this year. They get by on a scheme that controls the clock, lots and lots of condition and discipline. Any team that LCA gets in a bowl game will be a huge challenge for LCA. It would be nice to get one though, just to gage where the team is. Coach Greene and his staff have done a very good job with so little to work with. thanks
  4. Well Pasttiger, I can see that you're angry and do not plan on addressing the facts that I stated. Good luck on the rest of your season and maybe the two schools will meet up. By the way, the two guys talking all the smack lca08 and graider are a couple of clowns trying to stir the pot. Graider actually works and supports another school. God bless you sir
  5. roughshod? common opponents LCA 48 MJCA 19 LCA 38 RBS 6 Based on facts, what would make you think LCA gets blown out? By the way, I haven't seen but one or two LCA posters talking smack. It's not like they have a huge fan base. p.s LCA would be honored to play Gordonsville. Who knows, it could happen.
  6. LCA will also be looking for a bowl game against a TSSAA school that misses the play offs. This will give them the chance to show what a garbage team they are. How dare them win all their games in their second year. All of those poor teams that big, bad LCA has scheduled.
  7. Why all the hate toward LCA. Some of you are ignorant. A tiny school with 60 high school students (TOTAL) when they scheduled puts together an independent schedule two years ago and you guys rag on it? Give me a freaking break. All but 6 of LCA's players had never even played football. Find someone else to pick on. They didn't do the scheduling to look like champs, they did it to be competitive and maybe go 500.
  8. What is Sunbright like? The town, schools, tradition, location, etc... Thanks
  9. Hey PB & J, I have noticed you hop onto a lot of post regarding LCA. I am guessing you are affiliated with MJCA, but I could be wrong. When LCA scheduled these games two years ago they had 60 kids in their high school. Their coaching staff and players will be up to the task in the tssaa. It will take some time to get things going, (a few big lumps will be absorbed) but I promise you that they will not rest until they are a dominant team in their region. Which is much more than I can say for MJCA and the rest of the tssaa schools they thumped this year. Every school they played this year has been around longer than LCA, except Riverside. Cut them some slack, they are a second year program!!
  10. Heard Lancaster Christian's coach was at the RBS game on Friday. What's up with that? Is something in the works?? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  11. I know an up an coming coach that wants this job. He would do very well at RBS.
  12. Interesting game. MJCS hasn't accomplished anything during their coach's tenure. They have won a game or two each year. My understanding is that a lot of kids will not play for the coach. They have good facilities. I would like to see them hire someone that could generate some excitement around the school, develop good rapport with the kids, and get it going in the right direction. RBS also needs to think about hiring a football coach instead of making their baseball coach do it. They also have athletes but they're all playing basketball. Their parents need to get their noses out of it as well and let somebody coach the team. If you or your son can't handle letting a coach do it his way, pull him! Just my two cents.
  13. LCA is in their second year and they are undefeated. Of course the schedule isn't tough by any stretch, but they're a very young program. They are on the right track. Nice Job!
