Wow..All east tn players from about the same area. I guess this post should have been Dream Team from Round 3 of the East TN 4A playoffs

I believe this would is the opposite of common sense. The regular season wouldnt mean near as much to the players and coaches if home field advantage is something not to strive for. Finishing 4th would be almost the same as finishing 1st in the region. Also, this is how school systems upgrade their facilities. Playoff games bring in too much money for school systems. Kinda hard to upgrade any facility to make people happy when you only play 5 home games in a year. Home field advantage is a big part of why football is football.

Soddy has never really stunk...but the Refs ALWAYS have....About how much do you think they bring in a game there? 200-250 maybe

I'm not from McMinn but I did attend several of their games......and yes refs can be bad at alot of places but still call bad both ways.....at Soddy, the refs only call for Soddy...but I guess thats just part of it....if I got paid extra I might would swing the calls one way too

yeah you are right they(refs) had a good year....so does the booster club get the refs for your games??

Awww..Soddy got put out in the second round...I guess the Refs can only get you so far..........

w1ldcat is from sullivan south.....who by the way have only played maryville one time and got crushed...before last year they never made it that far.....which I dont understand why because they do not play anybody during the season or the first three rounds of the playoffs.....their hardest game used to be Dobyns Bennett but they kicked their tail every year so they stopped playing them....south wouldnt make it past the first round if they were in middle or west tenn....

This might be the worst post I have seen this year. You have to be in Middle school to say something like this. Browning is too short and fat to even probably play college.

How can you roll your eyes at that???? I was at the McMinn game and clearly the refs won that game for Soddy. Soddy isnt a bad team but McMinn had sorry penalty after penalty and when the refs would not call anything on Soddy especially in the Red Zone. Good luck to both. Should be a pretty even game

Was you at the game?????????.....At least at Athens the refs call bad both ways....Not taking anything away from Soddy, but the officials lost the game for McMinn. Anybody that knows football saw that. 2 punt returns called because of terrible calls.....#6 from mcminn was unable to even lift his hands up to catch two balls inside the red zone because of pass interference and all the ref said was"both were trying for the ball"....Can you blame the coaching staff when the refs were clearly one sided???
