I haven't seen SP play but by reading some of the comments they are just about as good as the Steelers, or at least they think they are. I have seen Union City play and they are a good physical one dimensional team on offense. They claim they can pass but the fact is they cannot pass well enought to be effective. I believe SP will be able to run as well as pass on UC. WC passed with great success. However, the key will be simple for SP, stop the run and you win, stone cold stop the run and you win big. WC turned the ball over too much to get ahead in the first half and just simply could not stop the run in the second half. If you don't stop the run UC will 3,4,5 yards you to death and shorten the game. WC had the ball for 14 plays in the second half and scored 14 points. My prediction is that SP will stop the run and send UC home sad but proud of the fine year that they have had.

Grad, you cannot seem to get JB fans to compare the two teams.I read where someone said that he did not think that WC could be 30 points better this year. Well we may not have to be 30 points better if JB is not as good. I know 44 is for real, but he had lots of room last year. Also we always talk about there offence but by the looks of the scores there defense is just as strong. Someteam outthere that has played JB is reading this, what about the OL, lets here it.

I would like for everyone to realize that tonights game will be the last for several seniors no matter who wins. That as we remember is a emotional time in there young lives. Be sure to tell them thank you for all of the hard work. it probably won't mean much tonight to them but it will someday.

Its amazing how stories grow.I talked to the coaches after the C'ville game because I heard that the Kid was spitting up blood. WC coaches were the first to get to the Kid after the play and said that he was not spitting up blood, they were trying to get grass out of his mouth with the use of a towel. He was knocked out and did not play any more. It was a great hit and not a cheap shot. Everyone else builds it up ,not 41, not his style. He a great kid who loves to play and does very little talking.

Check this out, since 01 season to date Collinwood has 73 wins and 27 losses. They are 4 and 6 in the playoffs. Wayne County has 74 wins and 28 losses and are 5 and 8 in the playoffs. Since 01 Collinwood has won 4 times and WC has won 4 times. Thats about as close as you can get. My hats off to both programs there players(past and present) and the coaches from each school. We are lucky to have these successful programs, they make each other better.

Good win WC. I want to give special credit to players who never here their names mentioned. Stricklin,Franks,Teeftaller,Bowling, Garrett,Littrell,Kelly,Pippinger. Great job you dominated and we will ride this thing as far as you take us. I know linemen don't get much credit but we appreciate what you do.

I was on the field this week and it was incredibly wet. It is holding together but very wet.

Good post 33, you guys should be proud. I know the fans who wanted a football program and did not have it are crazy with excitement. When teams are good and competitive it makes Friday nights special. Good luck to all involved.

I know Tucker and Mercer or tough. They play basketball the same way they play football. Rough! With the exception of a few I think WC posters have given your team plenty of respect. I have tried to show PC the proper respect. Like I said earlier you guys are up and coming, good,talented,fast, strong,etc...I don't know what else to say. However, if you really want respect you've got to earn it. There's some teams that really don't respect us and won't until we're able to get past them. P.S. you used the word wimp not WC.

Hey expert, I bet you could not stand PC either if they had beaten Decatur Co. You probably like us if we were getting hammered, right? OK don't like us, I guess we can take it as long as we keep winning. You know how this works in class A, teams make a run for a few years and then they are down for a few years. We would like to enjoy our run. PC is good and they are going to get better, they play with alot of confidence right now and there will be a day when they beat us, but I will be stunned if it is Friday night. I know that they can score but I don't think they can score enough. I respect their team and their players are for real, but I feel that their real run starts next year. Just my thoughts, lets hear it.

Wayne county played there most physical game of the year tonight I thought. They dominated the game and beat cornersville to the punch all night long. Looks like things are going to get sporty next week. Lets get ready for PC and take care of business.

How can you talk of playing JB when we got so much football left to play. Lets take it one game at a time and try to get better. I bet some region teams like it when we talk about the playoffs and we haven't gotten by them yet. Skeeter is baiting us in hopes we'll take our eye off the ball. We/team just play the ones on the schedule. We cannot help that it happens to be a down year for so many teams.We/team did not make the schedule. What does worry me is that the team starts to feel real good about themselves and does not make improvement from week to week. I think our defense is getting better but I'am not sure that I can say the same about our offense. Also, the punt team had better pick it up or we will get a punt blocked at some time.

I think the non region games for WC have been better teams. How do the teams compare in region scores only?

Yes its ok to post but how do you back up "i wasnt talkin bout ur kids i was callin you a kid" thats stupid and someone needs to tell him that he will listen too.

I agree. I was there and saw the whole thing. Stupid to have a wreath and more so to have it at the game. This makes me sick. In my opinion Mr.Luker is a class act, Mark Statom is a good guy, Collinwood takes great pride in their school and community, emotions were high and people are human and do make mistakes. On both sides! It was an unfortunate series of events but its over. Also, if I was the WCHS coach my players would not be on coach T if all they wanted to do was trash talk. Why give someone else the material to dislike you more. In my opinion TAP3 or who ever is posting under that name should be told that coach t is off limits to him. I would like to see all of us on both sides use some class and post something that might add something to the game. Personal attacks and/or mean spirited comments just add to the rage and breds more stupidity.

Your probably right about comparing scores but I just beleive LC O-line will take control.

I think that LC has a solid team. 10-0 regular season in weak region gets them maybe to third round. I hope they win it all but I think they will have to pass and defend the pass better to get any deeper than third round. I watched the WC/LC game and LC never punted, flat out ran it down out throats. Just not sold yet.

Columbia Academy beat FRA 21-7.Wayne County beat CA 31-9. LC beat WC 35-21. LC will roll down hill on Harpeth. I just noticed that Lewis Countys closest games have come from class A teams. Is your region down that much this year?

Seems like sometimes we make up plays as we go along to take advantgage of mismatches and the players don't understand. WC should win this game. Hopefully the players realize the region now is like a playoff game each week. We cannot afford to overlook anyone. maybe leaders on the team can get everyone to stay focused.
