Our offense struggled tonight and they beat us up front. Line play has a lot of growing up to do. All of that said, we still had an opportunity to win the game. Beech gave the ball to Collierville inside the 20 once and inside the 5 once. Can’t do that on the road against a good team.

I will admit I was wrong about this one. Haven’t seen any film on it yet, certainly appears d I may be wrong about Gallatin.

He may do just fine, but I think sometimes unrealistic expectations are places on first year coaches.

I know it’s just freshmen, but don’t overlook what they’re doing.

I read a board member’s explanation, but I still think it’s political nonsense. It’s appears for the first time in many many years the director of schools was trying to get something done for the kids and the political wheels started rolling to shut it down until they have a meeting next week. We shall see…

Beech will be better the next two years. Still pretty young and inexperienced TBH.

I 100% agree on not using the stands. My issue is Hendersonville has temporary bleachers set up, but Beech was instructed they couldn’t. The bleachers were delivered yesterday and they were told to take them away. Not sure why.

I get it, but the facts are the facts. Yes I’m passionate about my team. I guess it’s easy to hate when they are consistently better than your teams. TheGo2Guy has 5 posts and clearly created an account to post on this topic. Good on him, but at least be accurate. After 14 straight wins it’s not really a rivalry. And while we’re talking about it, why has MJ refused to play Beech? I would much rather play in the next county over than to have to go to Knoxville, Memphis, play multiple Rutherford and Williamson county schools… but I guess that’s not happening anytime soon. So yeah, kudos to Station Camp for putting Beech back in the schedule. Enough on this, back to the SC/Gallatin game. Station Camp will be the much more physical team and I think they win by 2+ scores.

Well an unauthorized website, Station Vamp’s head coach, and myself saw two interceptions and a fumble. The PI was clear, but whatever. Lol I have said from the beginning, Station Camp is a very physical team. Station Camp will win a lot of games this year. Beech went vanilla in the second half and had they not I do believe they would have scored a couple more times. I’m not bashing SC at all. I’m simply saying Beech could have score more. And the scoop and score was blown dead. Was it a fumble? Maybe. Maybe not. The whistle blew and the play was over.

If WH loses this game they won’t make the playoffs. LC has no athletes and the “passing attack” was nonexistent in the first half against ER. I didn’t see the second half so I can only speculate that it looked much better against the backups.

While I hear what you’re saying, they’ve had talent the last couple of decades and have had a handful good seasons. Talent hasn’t been the problem. Perhaps they have the other issues resolved and they are better. Everyone speaks highly of Stroup, but then again they spoke highly of Watson his first year as well. I’m not saying anything negative, just taking a wait and see approach.

Can people get off of their political agendas long enough for us all to have safe and functional facilities? It’s really not that difficult. Beech would have had bleachers set up by this weekend and ready to play the rest of their home games… AT HOME. Come on Sumner County, just do the right thing.

For what it’s worth the week 1 AP poll has both Henry County and Springfield ahead of Beech.

I see. It’s hard to see how good (or bad) any team is after one week. I think it’s going to take several weeks to see what everyone is looking like.

I thought the starting RB was injured… Anyway, I hope I’m wrong in this one but I just think it’s going to be a rough year for Springfield. With their schedule 5-5 isn’t such a bad year.

It appears Springfield in trending down and Clarksville is trending up. Injury to the best player for Springfield and graduated a bunch. Clarksville returns a lot this year. Its early so I could be off, but based on what several people familiar with Springfield have said, this could be a long year.

It was three and let’s not pretend they were unforced errors. Beech went very bland in this game. Nothing against SC at all, as I believe they will win a lot of games this year… starting with this one.
