  1. Isn't this mentioning it? Can we get an administrator in here, please!
  2. The high school. All in jest, though. No, but seriously. Nah, I'm kidding. Seriously, though.
  3. "what are doing on my avatar" That's your response, folks. Rebelrebelman-1 couchqb-0
  4. Everytime you post I start singing Billy Idol.
  5. I've always hated the Jamboree more than death. They make you pay for a snoozefest.
  6. The Mama's House Raiders are still playing touch football? I figured they would have shut the program down after the Mason Dixon game last year.
  7. Welcome back to the inner circle of pigskin glory. It's good to be back. The Inner Circle will blaze the trails in 2009, baby!
  8. They opened this dump for another year? Coulda fooled me.
  9. Did someone say South football? SIGN ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Rebelrebelman is back, baby!!!! School is in session for the Rebs and that tardy bell brings out the best CoachT poster this side of the Pecos. South will roll this year, while the Mama's House Raiders fell on their knees, begging to be removed from our class. I'm back, people, and I'm ready to unleash some havoc!
  11. Yeah, home court is a huge deal. The South Rebels body clocks have to adjust to the strenuous 30 minute drive to Boone. I envy the Boonies for being able to host a game in which thousands of screaming fans will be taunting and harrassing our Rebels. I'm with Cap, in that this game would swing the Rebels way if Boone had to make that daunting drive down the interstate and lace em up on our court. Surely the unwavering support the Rebel basketball faithful could make so much noise that it would crush any Boone player, no matter how courageous. Tis a shame for my beloved Rebels, who have to brave the unknown worlds of Grey, the play amid the jeers from an 8th place team's raucous fans, who are rabid about their Blazer basketball.
  12. Tricitiessportsfan, thanks for digging up that article. Sounds pretty promising but it also sounds long term. I'll be broken down by the time they get all this stuff together. When I said I was apalled that the kids didn't have a gym to go play ball, I basically meant me. I don't even like kids. I was hoping Kinsport would operate more in that 6 month range.
  13. The fact that Kingsport doesn't have a place where kids can go play ball is pretty unbelieveable. The height of basketball interest is in the winter, during the season, and outdoor courts are rendered useless. The Y is the only place, and I've heard that it's pretty terrible. And I've heard there's a place in Elizabethton, which is too far for Kingsport/Colonial Heights people. Who's runnin' this town?!
  14. Capitol 1 credit card, I think you'll find that I can talk jive (I prefer that term, it's funnier) no matter what my team is doing. Nobody will do a better job of talking jive when my team is irrelevent than me. Just ask Central fans this year. Shs78 probably stays up at night wishing I was dead. Actually, I bet he has hundreds of pages of notes and math equations trying to figure out who I am, when actually, unless I bumped into him at Wal-Mart once, we've never had contact. I feel like a high profile criminal, except I haven't done anything, besides antagonize the school he wishes I went to. Be glad you're not me Capitol 1 credit card, everyone knows who you are. I'm going to have a kid and put him in South-zoned athletics, just to spite everyone on here.
  15. Capitol 1 is so angry!! So mad he can't stand it!! Curse you tricitiessportsfan for your ways!! Instead of picking on minute details that 0 people care about, why don't you concentrate on your 10-7 Vikings trying to stay in first place. Which by the way, won't happen.
  16. Wouldn't that kinda mean the AD isn't gonna allow the cursing and all that stuff Stokomo was talking about? If they want everything to be proper and this no cell-phone stuff, you would think explicit rap songs are off-limits, too.
  17. Thanks for the help crawdad. I messed up where the game was, but you came to my aid, I appreciate it. While, you're making great points about home-court, I feel like saying this. I have been accused of being from DB, Central, North, and not going to high school at all, as if I'm the reincarnation of Benedict Arnold turning on his own school (or no school). That's nonsense. It's in the name, people, Rebels. Rebelrebelman isn't some conspiracy to get back at any of the schools you think I actually attended. I'm a South guy and a South fan, and you wouldn't know me if you saw me, unless of course, you were from South. Just because I talk some colorful trash about your program doesn't mean I'm the spawn of evil sent from the dark corners of earth to get even with his old school. Everytime schs78 gets on here, he tries to antagonize me and tries to solve rebelrebelman. He loses every single time. I've said it before, people like rebelrebelman. Nobody likes or cares about schs78. That's like rebelrebelman 1,000 - schs78 0.
  18. I would think so, too. That would mean I'm still qualified and you aren't. South people have more pride than to go play for Central's d-league.
  19. DISCLAIMER!!!!!! Yeah, that was about stupid as anything you're gonna see. I apologize. It was 1 and I'm not really sure what I was thinking. Imagine if my post was one bit accurate, then I would feel that way. Since it's not, please null and void. Apologies, again.
  20. Don't strike me down here, CoachT faithful, and to you Sportsfan that brought the student section to my attention....but I like it. I don't care what they said, as long as it didn't dive into family matters, which I'm sure it didn't. When people say they're taking a high school team "at home" that's a joke most of the time. The players have to travel to a city they probably hit up on the weekends, so it's not like they're going more than 30 minutes away or so. The road team will have a good amount of fans most of the time, because the distance is relatively close. The crowd noise swings both ways and home court is just a formality more so than an advantage. The cleaning-up of student sections, like Central's is a joke. Well, I know where they're coming from, but it's no fun. By having to go to Science Hill tonight, DB played in front a hostile crowd for once, and apparently they got in Ashlon's head and affected the game. That's what home court is all about, and the crowd had to get a little nasty to do it, but that's home court baby. Everyone is gonna antagonize me about this post (now you're the student section, jeering me!) but I don't care. I think it's great that kids can pay money to go affect the outcome of the team they're cheering for. Home court is real!
