Thanks Prez and same to the Patriots. I saw you guys play Liberty and man was I impressed. That is a good HC team over there this year. I'll make another before the years out, thats for sure. Yes we have a tough road to hoe this week. Hope we can stay close with the D. It's High School football so you never know. The Vikings could come out and play a little flat, then again they could come out after the week off and be serious trouble. We gonna try and give them heck anyways. Nothing wrong, he's around. Been working with his kids and stuff. He'll be on here taking his shots at all them hosers. That you can count on.

It all depends on what you call down. Are we the Rebels of last year or the year before that and so on, then I'd say a partial no. We are no were near the same Rebel team from those mentioned above as far as offense goes. We lack maturity and experience plus a few playmakers to be that squad. But IMO, we are almost as good if not as good on defense. Our defense will be tough on whoever we play but the O has just not been there. At this stage of the year we should be close to where we are going to be but we have just not reached that point yet. We have plenty of talent to get there at some point, maybe we can get it together this week. It sure will take more than just defense to win this game. Again, we will just have to wait and see.

I saw the JB game as well and if it wasn't for multiple dropped passes by JB, they could have potentially scored more than 7. Granted it would not have mattered because Humb was just to much for them. The only way I see us winning this week is for a more than stellar performance from the Offense which has not happened yet. Our D is pretty dang good so I see it being a low scoring affair. We will have to play lights out to beat the Vikings. They are a very good team this year but don't count these Rebels out just yet. They'll have a little to say come Friday night. I promise you Humb will not get this game at a easy price. We have some some players coming back that have been out so that will improve the O some. How much, we will just have to wait and see.

Congrats to the Devils tonight. Good to see you make a huge turn around. Wish it would have started last week while I was there. I would have a liked to seen you put to the Vikings like this We have them next week and I'm a little concerned. Again, congrats on the win.

Congrats to the Bulldogs tonight on a very hard fought game. No shame in that game tonight from Tatertown. You have some very good young talent over there and the future is looking bright. Like the others have said, we got out of there by the skin of our teeth. I too commend the Gleason fans on their performance as well. You should be very proud of the kids because they are very good. We got lucky but IMO the Bulldogs got the moral victory tonight in M-town. Good luck the rest of the year and I sure hope you make some noise come playoffs.. The Rebels showed some signs of improvement the second half and fought to get the victory. The defense held again and pulled out this win for us. There is not a bigger Rebel supporter than me and I always will no matter what the score may show. I get a little disgrunted at times but like most of us on here, I think we have gotten a little spoiled the past few years. This year is different in many ways and each game is a new beginning. We will get better with time and experience then come playoffs we will make some noise. Always keep those heads up and build on what took place each week. We have some tough ones ahead of us and win or lose I WILL BE THERE. In closing, that was one HECK of a pass by Luke to Rob T. One of the best I have seen on the high school level by anyone. That one play alone was worth the price of addmission. Just a flat out kick arse play

Hated to miss this game but we headed to the dungeon to watch Humb and JB. Sounds like it was a good one from the reports we were getting. First game I've missed in 5 years and it was a little difficult to say the least. Think I'll stick around the rest of the year and watch my rebels. Good to see the recovery of a rocky 2nd frame. Each game will only get better, just keeping working because we have some tough games ahead. Proud of you guys, get ready for the bulldogs (sorry duck )

The pain still lingers from the game last year game huh. Can't say I blame you though. To get shut down from what the 1 yard line 4 times with one of the best backs in the area had to really hurt. See ya in a couple weeks I guess. I think we are still playing last I heard

Tenton comes to McKenzie 0-2 but with those two loses coming from two teams that seem to be rolling. McKenzie 1-1, not up to it's usaul form but showing much improvement last week against a stout Dresden team. What is going too be the outcome this week in M-town?

Well, here is my take. You were right when you said it was going to be a war. That was a pretty physical game on both sides. Dresden has a very good defense like us and both suffer on offense. The Lions have come a long way the past several years, including the hog pen. That was a great atmosphere for high school football. Great to see the support coming back out to watch your Lions, means a lot to those kids that work hard all year long. You'll win several more ballgames, that's for sure. My only issue tonight with the Lions was at the end when they showed a lack of sportsmanship at midfield. That was pretty lousy of the coach calling his kids to the sideline for the after game huddle with the Rebels lined up at midfield to shake hands. He will get no respect with that kind of attitude. Homer needs to take look around and show respect regardless of the win or loss. Fine example he is showing his team, enough said about that. Rebels, defense was tough again but leaning on them is going to eventually takes it toll. Offense showed some signs of improvement but like others have said, needs a lot more work. Hard work is starting to show so keep it up. I to would give Hunter the game ball tonight. Kid played with a lot of heart and never gave in. Great job #27. One last thing for the Lions, #86-son your a ballplayer. I give him much props for his game and his sportsmanship. Maybe the coach should take a leason or two from him. I sure hope he is OK after taking that lick. I sure hated to see him injuried and on the sideline. To me, that was a big turning point of the game. But again, great young man you have playing over there. Refs, only thing I can say is "pathetic". When you have such lousy officials that could very well change an outcome by the way they make calls is a shame. Seems to me that every year gets worse. Those tonight got their license in crackerjack box. Crying shame is all I can say.

I agree, we will see a differnt team than last Friday for sure. I don't think the boys want to go through another week after this one. Rebels will show up and lets all hope they show out.

I hear what your saying but this another season, lol. We have to get it together before I put us above ANYBODY. This years version of the Rebels has a lot of growing up to do and do it fast. There is the potential to be as good as the past few years but the boys have to want it that way. I do see us having a better night tonight and hopefully that will get things rolling again, we'll see soon though.

How you figure it is an upset if you win. You beat WV, we lost, your 2-0 and we are 0-1, plus we are at your pen, I mean house. The way I see it, you should be the favorite, just saying. We are the ones that have to prove something tomorrow nigh in my book

Duck, the hog pen will be graced with Butchie. JB doesn't play at Humbodlt this week, their at East Robertson. They travel to the bodlt next week so depending on this outcome Friday, we will be traveling there to see that game. I've seen a few of the boys this week and from what they went through last Friday, I'm sure the demon will be unleashed. Pretty harsh reality check for the most of them. Nothing wrong with having confidence but realizing arrogance was what the doctor ordered. We will see a different team come Friday, with much more heart and want. Should be a good one for the Rebels.

I'm here duck, will always be. I'm not real sure I would call this a rebuilding year. Most knew this team would have a lot of upside to them. I think last Friday night was a reality check for a few, including some fans. Like you said, we have lost the first game the last few years and look where we went. This season is going to be tough regardless because every team we play has improved. Got some real tough games that will require 100% effort from team and fans to come away with a victory. These kids will fed off us every Friday night and I'll be there spouting off as usual.

WTH, I thought this was about Mck vs Dres football. Turning into a Weakley county thread with language barriers. I saw Dresden beat Wv, wasn't impressed then saw WV beat Mck, wasn't impressed there either. I can gaurantee that the Mck offense that played last week against WV will not show up. Comer will have them playing better this Friday for sure. He was not a happy person after last week. We will be just fine in the hog pen because our defense will keep it under control. Our LB's will take of that side of the ball, and our running game will do the rest.

No whinning coming from old RebDad this week, This week, time to take control Seniors of those that are just out there filling holes. Make them give their heart on every play and every down. I saw 33-40 stepping up in the 3rd smacking a few helmets. Start from the first click to the final horn blows, Step and control those kids. Teach them what heart is and how you got into that position. You earned that by showing heart the past few years now spread the wealth with others. Lead this team SENIORS. It is your time to shine, now get out there and show it for all us fans, community, student body and visitors. We are Proud of our Rebels so let's roll together.
