Does anyone know who is in the running for the Creek Wood job? I have not heard many names at time time. Will it be an assistant coach, middle school coach, or will it be someone outside of the district? What kind of job is it?

I have not seen South Greene, but I do not see them beating Community. Pierce will take over and see them playing Gibson County or Middleton in the finals although crazier things have happened.

I think both of those teams better worry about McEwen and Houston County before they address the state tournament.

I agree that McEwen and Forrest will be a classic. I think that game could go either way. However, I am not sure what to think with Eagleville and Houston County. I think that game will be a battle as well. When it's tournament time, anything can happen. Good Luck to both districts!

What has the coach at MTCS done? Look back at his tenure since he has been at MTCS and get back with me. Again, no substance on your comments. Why don't you address this with him and let him know your feelings. Maybe you should get into the coaching profession and get your own team. It looks like you know a lot more than everyone else so I think you would do great in that position. Again, no substance

Well you must not know a lot about basketball. Just because you date one of the players sisters.. what does that mean? you go to practice every day, listen to his coaching strategies, know his personnel, understand what he needs against opponents daily. Just stick to your dates with your girl friend and be a spectator, because you are clueless. He has enough talent to compete this season, but years past he hasn't. You can not blame that on coaching. Sure every coach makes mistakes, just like players, but he is not the reason for anything. However. He is in the top 4 of the district and ranked top 10 in the state which is strong and has a chance to win 20 games in the toughest Class A district in the state. If he was in District 9 he would be at the top with McEwen and Houston County and most others, Eagleville would be leading the district. Find something else to talk about other than bashing your girl friends sisters coach. A lot of schools with benefit if they had Coach Lynch. Ask all of the coaches in that district what they think of him. He has high remarks

Your right. I wonder what it would be like if the had an average coach. They would be at the bottom. Coach Lynch does a great job and has that team headed in the right direction. I'm sure you are a upset parent with your child not getting enough playing time, is usually how that works. Keep it up Lynch.

It seems that everyone is forgetting about Huntland. They will beat you in a secound if you overlook them. Here is the order of how it will finish 1. Community 2. Huntland 3. MTCS 4. Moore 5. Forrest 6. Eagleville 7. Fayettville

KYTNGBB- First, I would not say that Maddie Long is by far the best player in the district. I am not sure how you can make that statement when you have a potential Miss Basketball in Breanna Boggs in the district and who has also signed with UT-Martin. I guess we wlll see in Feburary in which player leads the team for a deep post season run. Best players normally put the team on the back and carry the load. Good Luck to all teams in 10-A

How well do you think the Region of 9 A does. Will they have a 4-0 sweep?

I don't think they will play the games tomorrow night. What will happen if this happens?

It wasn't real smart to play them on Saturday. They should have tried to play on Thursday. Its there own fault for that happening.

I think Moore County will give Community all they want, but in the end, I see Community winning by 6-8 points with the inside game of Community wearing Moore Down during the 3rd and 4th quarter. I think MTCS wins by 20 plus in the semifinals game. Good Luck to all teams participating.

Anytime you let go of a coach that as won over 1,000 games, national championship in JUCO, and multiple district championships and region games. It's all about the football at the school. Good Luck to everyone in district.

I agree, the top 4 teams in this district can swap places and beat up one another. I think that Huntland and also Eagleville can make some noise. How will this district compare with 9-A? I am sure that Houston County return most players from last years state tournament team. Will the Boggs girl be playing this year for them? I also hear Nashville Christian will have something to say in the battle also in 10A.

What shooter did MTCS get back? I am pretty sure they have enoiugh shooters as it is. What are your rankings on the distrct? I feel that it will be listed below: 1. Community 2. MTCS 3. Moore Co 4. Forrest 5. Huntland 6. Eagleville 7. Fayettville Like you mentioned in a earlier post, you have 3 or 4 teams that can win this league. Good Luck to all teams and coaches. Lets be honest. Summertown did not play all of the key players in that game. We all know Richalnd is not 16 points better than Summertown.

There is a chance of about 6 teams that could make it to the state. Houston County and Loretto as mentioned, but also you have Summertown, Collinwood, community, mtcs and Nashville Christian also. Its going to be a tight RACE.

Houston County is better than Community. They played terrible the first half but came out in the 2nd and played really strong from what I hear. If Boggs was with the team, It would have been 20-25 points.

You can talk about Jackson County and Union City, but the best team in the state very easily could be Clarkrange. They are very talented and are good at all 5 positions. Another team to watch out for is Gibson County which can beat some people if you are not ready. They will give Union City all they want which I am sure Union City is not wanting to play them 2 more times.

Are those the real poles? or is that just a prediction?
