Anyone heard how the 7 on 7 at Kingston went last night?

When you have a record of 51-6 over the last 4 years, adding 2 Silver Balls, 1 Gold Ball and Semi-Final finish to your trophy case, this is exactly what happens and to any school for that matter! Sure they may not all be D1 prospects but they will be good players and good kids. In todays society kids and PARENTS like to win, sure some more than others but they'll make the move to see their kid on a winning team especially if there is a chance to make a run in the playoffs. Of course when you have 2 of the biggest powerhouse football programs in the state 20 mins up the road thats a big plus but kids are not going to make that move, we have one kid from Maryville. Its these BIG schools like WB, Sequoyah, Heritage, Tellico, Seymour, who's teams, are not 51-6 the last 4 years, these are where these kids move in from. I think OnB said it earlier in this thread we welcome anyone that wants to investigate us, our I's are dotted and T's crossed with TSSAA. And our AD and School admin will NOT be out of compliance! And that i applaud them for.... when word got out a few yrs ago the school admin was requiring all this additional proof of residency in county and the SRO was doing drive by checks, alot of people thought it was crap, me included but now i applaud them for it now.

Glen & Gfd709: "you boys need to be drinking water everytime you come off the field" Players: Nah we're good Then about the 4th qtr they started dropping like flies... Players: Ahhh it hurts Glenn & Gfd: "Well stupid we told you to drink! Now shutup and drink" Then add a few more choice words for motivation.lol and dang they held on! But I dont really recall alot of games in the last few yrs where these boys have cramped alot, Ryan has had them in good shape

Happy Independence Day to all my fellow CoachT HS Football friends... We have a BIG fundraising and recruiting events going on in Greenback today... Parade was this a.m. and tonight in downtown there will be a Festival starting at 6pm, food, drinks, the new mayor will be in the dunking booth, square dance starts at 630pm and line dancing will start around 745pm, followed up by a fantastic firework show. All proceeds going to the Recruiting Dept. Truck parking is still available but going fast so everyone is invited esp that Roy Fellar and His GOAT.

Since its the dead period, I figure our Recruiting Dept is out trying to recruit some out of state players for academic purposes.lol But on a serious note, did I see where DB was going to Oklahoma to work out? I know he's already been down to The Swamp

It was Grilled Honey Buns with Ice Cream from the Drug Store, but i've heard rumors of this new mayor has something in the works and considering a "Recruit Tax" on the city. The county commission was considering a package but it looks like the new jail house will take all that $$$ we'll see what happens

Oh yea and I just talked to Mr. Vineyard this afternoon, apparently Bubba has already been going to camps at Oklahoma and Clemson and to think he's just a freshman... One of the new ways these high school teams are getting these boys noticed is making a Twitter Account, Loudon has one "Loudon Recruiting" i think its time Greenback makes one... Greenback University Recruiting.lol

Yep! And as good as these new kids sound they all need to get on the same page and fast... Of course I'm sure thats what that Ryan Man is doing with 4 days/week practice. If he gets them in sync and firing on all cylinders, look out!

Yea i get on Twitter and searched "Greenback" one night and it pulls up every post that has Greenback in, most are $ related posts, then you have the Greenbacks and then Greenback... I saw one where it was reporting Greenback lossed in the semi-finals i think it was like 2017 and I was like hold on a dang minute... I ended apologizing to the guy.lol

Oh i meant South Carolina before Oklahoma, looks like DB is going places lady and gents, i guess we better enjoy hollaring at him this year b/c he wont be able to hear us next fall wherever he goes (Holden included)... Well you can add... Army, Air Force, South Carolina, Missouri and Purdue to DBs resume, he's up to 25 offers so far. Even a invite to one of Nick Saban's Camps but still no O&W???? Where is that Roy fellar at? See if he has Pruitt or Phil's phone number we need to have a little talk... I mean guess they could be holding out til they get season tickets and a parking pass for the fence?

Well I am going to continue to brag on our boy Derrell Bailey... He has added 3 more schools to his list of offers: Mississippi State, Austin Peay and Air Force

And as long as we can keep feeding Roy's goat those honey buns... I like our chances.

Agree 100%... Derrell just got 2 more offers this week from UAB and Tulane. If DB can just get some of Bubbas aggressiveness on both sides of the ball, every single snap, then these 2 boys will be monsters this season. And i'll just go ahead and say college, also! DBs already recieved 3 offers going into his Sr yr... could Bubba have them rolling in going into his Jr year? I think its possible! And does Bubba not have like a 7th grade brother also?

I just left the Greenback Press Conference a few mins ago... The spokesperson could not confirm and referred me to The Recruiting Dept... I am on my way there now to turn in my receipts from my scouting trip to Huntingdon last week and the case of honey buns i just bought for Fridays game so i'll let you know what i can find out

Had to stop in Huntingdon on my from Arkansas to Paris, TN... This is a busy town, made a couple trips around the square, sitting at Mallards now, the Potato & Bacon soup is dang good! Friday night should be rockin!
