I certainly don’t think HC played their best but I have to give Ridgeway credit for their game plan.

The cold weather might play a factor in tonight's game on the field and in the stands. I think HC is more adept to playing in these conditions.

One of the best away crowds that has came to Paris is the Munford fans with their band. Maybe we need to spread the news that we have new visitors seating!

Maybe Gallatin’s gates increased because of the good year you are having and maybe because your opponents don’t have to travel 60 or more miles to the game and get back home after the game at midnight.

I believe you are right on this. I also think I read or heard that the home team has to pay the referees out of their 25%. I could be wrong about this.

Yeah I remember those games. It seemed like half of the county was there but players graduate and some fans that used to come aren’t able to for one reason or another. And then there are the fair weather fans that show up when it is nice outside or just to socialize and don’t have to deal with the elements.

Patriot Nation I promise you it probably won’t be standing room only or close to it because of the weather and ticket prices being $8.00. I’ll be there for sure.

Well it is the playoffs and a whole new season. In my opinion some of you are getting “ the cart before the horse “ because HC hasn’t beat anyone in the playoffs yet, let alone advancing to round 3 against Kirby. This RW team won’t be easy to beat but I like our chances because of the coaching. Kirby still has a road game at DC and that won’t be easy in my opinion.

Lots of upsets all around the state. Knox Central and David Crockett both 5A lost tonight.

Did y’all see the big freshman playing nose guard last night? He had pretty good push against their first string OL. Get him in the weight room a whole year and look out!

In my opinion some of these talented players aren’t playing as much right now is the coaching staff is building depth against lesser completion. Also they’re keeping them fresh for the playoffs.

Game management by the QB is getting better each game as is his overall play. All of the running backs are running much harder than they were the first of the year. Not sure I agree with the way the coaches are playing them right now but I understand why. Defense is still playing good overall. Kicking game is better than I expected it would be this year. Teams that have bigger lines tend to give us some problems and I hope that doesn't hurt us down the road. That goes for both sides of the ball. Our tackles aren't that big and that could be a problem. We don't get a good pass rush most of the time because of a bigger OL unless we blitz. Why is #1 not being used more on offense? I would like to see the play called in with at least 20 sec. left on the play clock so we can have time to make adjustments if need be. I'm just the average fan so I'm sure others may have picked up on some of this.

I am starting to see some trends on this team. Some good and some not so good.

I was trying to think of their names but yes those three guys were some kind of special on that defensive line.

This is the start of many recruiting trips this kid will take. He is getting better and better each week.

This should not be a good contest, but I remember going up there several years ago and we were heavily favored and did not win. That field is not very good unless they have made some improvements and the visitor section seating is to put it mildly is horrible with the tree sap on the bleachers. I'm going to say HC 34 -10.

I think that whoever takes care of the football the best tonight will win. Beech is a more disciplined team than any of the other three teams we have played in the playoffs. That being said I will pick HC in a low scoring game by a field goal 17-14.
