There is one way to take care of all these problems you have with our team and fans. Play in the private league where you belong. See in that league the kids don't have to play football and work until 10:00 every night to support themselves. In that league, money is not an issue. In that league, the parents are not barely making it financially. In that league most of the kids are scholar atheletes because they have a stable family life. In that league the kid actually plays four years because of financial and family stability. In that league, the other teams can go get a needed player in a position that may be weak. In that league our Government still allows Bible reading and prayer in School. In that league, there are more parents and students who claim to be Christians. With that said, it is not an equal playing field and until the TSSAA forces the split, it never will be.

Well, It's time to tell you how I really feel. The Eagles will rise to the occasion tonight. Region 4 2A is very tough and coached to at a high level. All the Tyner Vs. Westmoreland scores listed were from games played at Tyner. The game tonight for the first time will be on the Rockpile. We've got some hungry kids who are going to lay it on the line. They are ready to play and will give Tyner a fit. Westmoreland 20 tyner 13. Go Big Red. Get fired up Kemper, Baker, Ragland, Gengriech, Brooks, Bohanon, Hutchison, Compton, Scruggs, Wix , Green, Brewer and all Eagles players and Alumi. It's time to rise to another level.

Why? Why? Why? do we have to play Tyner? We would probably stand a better chance against Bledsoe County.

Westmoreland is one of the easiest places I know to come and win. Matter of fact anywhere in Region 4 2a is an easy place to win.

I wish I could say the same about Westmoreland. I wish we were Solid. I mean look at our schedule and the close calls we had with teams with loosing records. If we could have just played a team or two like Tyner to prepare us for this level, we might have a chance. If your a parent of a 2nd or 3rd string player, make sure you come to see your Son play. Come before Sun down to see the beautiful trees. Eat some good food and enjoy the easy win.

Station camp is approximately 25 miles South of Westmoreland.

Westmoreland players are getting ready for Basketball season. All year long even though we knew Region 4 2A was weak, we thought we would be Region champs. Now look at what has happened, drawn Tyner who is head and shoulders better than anyone in Region 4 or probably in 2A team in Middle Tennessee. Our kids are feeling sorry for themselves. We might would have had a chance against Sequatchie. We are two small and slow to compete with the Rams.
