Ya soddy fell apart at the end. Half way through the season most thought they would finish 2nd. The only d that has completely shut down the offense are the owls. So maynor should still put up some points but dont see this being close. I thought the trojans would shock one team and they did but other than that they played like most expected. But a playoff game is huge for a program that has been down for a while. Everyone else mentions the bad schedule but they beat 3 playoff teams and all three are hosting first round so not an awful schedule they were just good lower class teams. This team doesnt have the talent to win but might keep it close through a half. I dont know the exact stats but was close to breaking the regular season record for passing in the tri state area.

I love the whole we beat this team worse than you did and so we are the better team. Is it like the play ground argument of my dad could beat up yours. It is irrelevant. If they make it to each other it wont matter what teams you beat by how much. It will just matter on if you are up to beating this team. Soddy beat cleveland the week before you played them by 7. What does that mean nothing bc ooltewah beat soddy by 40. So stop this whole we beat them worse thing. Some teams play better against other teams. Cleveland always plays well against the owls. If you get a chance at them we will see what happens. You are still prob 4 weeks away so wait a couple of weeks before you start smack talking.

I dont know about not a good night. Most people thought they would get mercy ruled at rhea. They kept it closer than people thought. They just arent as good as rhea. So in this game I think it will be close. It is at the hill and soddy normally doesnt play well on the road. It wont be as low scoring as EH last game. So we will say soddy by 2 points 26-24.

I have never had anyone say would you like to donate to park. I dont remember it being on the sign either just says what it goes to.

In saying that I dont think Bradley is out yet.

I have a feeling the canes pull off second place but no one other than oolewah makes it past first round.

I dont know what team you think stands a chance at beating ooltewah. I think the 2nd place team will have 2 district losses so what 2 teams left on there schedule will beat ooltewah. When the owls are on no team can play within 21 points of them in our district.

Why bring up field issues 11 years ago. I dont know how long ago you have seen it but the booster club takes good care of it now. Yes the visitors side isn't great but name one school around here that does have a good visitors side. I think it is about normal. I dont know about the refs, hamilton county rotates it refs so soddy rarely has the same. Also both teams climb the hill so no advantage there. I dont think this will be close enough for the refs to get the blame. soddy by 14 or over. Also I want to hear from other fans is soddy's field that bad. What do you think blue raider, you were there this year werent you?

Ya that is a big stretch. I dont think anyone new is coming back this week. They have to play perfect ball to win this week. I personally think they loose by 30.

it is a good thought but they also still play rhea co which i think is best team left on the schedule. So I think they could be 5-1 but then loose the last 4

Soddy coming off a big win and tyner still looking for their first win, same as last year. I would like to say soddy should come out and be the better team but who knows. Kinda a scary let down game it sounds like but it could also be another 5 td game for maynor. I hope being at home they pull this one out.

So does soddy and WV finally get credit this week or are we going to say they got lucky. The district isnt as good as it was last year. I think you will see them contend with teams for the rest of the year. What chance do you give both making the playoff?

So i thought this game would be close. And even said soddy would shock someone this year. Cleveland will be ok. Like I said different team every week. This week they just didnt come to play. Big win for Soddy but still dont see 7-3 maybe 5-5 or 6-4 if lucky. But like I said a much improved soddy team. Ooltewah is going to blow everyone out so cant judge them by that game.

Man look how quick people jump on the bandwagon. 2 weeks ago the same fans talk about how bad cleveland is and how they will be lucky to be 5-5. They win 2 games they were supposed to win and by about the amount they were supposed to and now they are a contender again. I think this team has confidence yes but still will go week to week on how they play. Might be a blow out but i dont think so.

depends on what cleveland team shows up. If soddy keeps the turn overs down I see this being close. Also depends if soddy come ready to play but it is at soddy so I see it being close but still cleveland has way more talent. Cleveland by 7 to 10

I got Bradley by about 21. I think they dont slack on this one. Cleveland in a close one. A needed win for confidence in the rest of the district. Alcoa big. Mcminn prob will be 0-5 going into the soddy game. Ooltewah big by at least 28 Rhea in a close game again. could be a blow out but not counting out walker yet. Still think the bottom feeders may surprise people this year.

Yay and east ham. isnt 2-1 they are 1-2. Also dont give up on soddy yet. They just have to learn how to play with more talented teams. The teams they faced arent awful like i said both will be fighting for top of the division. They just get like a deer in headlights when someone punches them in the mouth. I still think they will surprise someone in the district. Good news is they have a week off to recover from that beat down. Has anyone heard how the kid that got carted off is?

So I thought Ooltewah would win and maybe by 40 but didnt think they would dominate both sides of the ball like they did. I dont see anyone in 5AAA playing close with this team. Hope soddy can bounce back and not loose all their confidence like last year.

Sorry passive talking trash to me usually means a people talking about how much they are going to beat you down. For example we are going to beat you so bad you wont know what hit you. sdfan just said maynor was going to get his yards and thinks it may be close. There is a good chance maynor will get his yards especially if they are coming from behind. I expect him to put up prob around 200. Not talking trash just talking numbers. The only trash he said was your defense wasnt that good and we will see tonight if it is or not. I dont think it is the best defense I have ever seen but they are solid. About hearing from them yes just like any fans when you are getting beat down every week you dont have much to say. I posted at the beginning of last year but no one wanted to talk soddy after the first 3 weeks. so I just enjoyed the passive, chattacane, and blueraider feud go on for most of the year, and saw some humble pie eaten. But I didnt go away just not much to say.This year I just enjoy talking high school football bc I cant see it myself. But anyways it is game day. so a non bias person should keep me posted on how soddy looks bc it may not be close but i want to know if it was a good game and ooltewah pulled away at the end or if ooltewah dominated and soddy got garbage points.

I dont know who in soddy is talking trash. I havent seen one post say they will win this game. I would say the coaches and kids are some of the few that come into saying they will win. The soddy fans are just excited about improvement. It doesnt matter what level of football when a team improves from the year before there is excitement and when they look worse there is disappointment. Just talk to the blue raiders or canes fans. We arent expecting to win but if it a closer game there will be more soddy fans coming on here excited. 5-5 this year for soddy would prob bring as much excitement as 10-0 for Ooltewah.

No I think he understood what he was saying. He didnt say soddy was going to win he just argued that maynor,soddy's qb, will get his yards. Most people dont think we will win but I think they may be the talk next week with people saying they played better than i thought they would.
