Entertaining isn't the word I would use......... Back to the game. The press killed FCS. I think we had about 20 turnovers. The Garrett kid playing out front on defense was the key. He is a good player, very athletic and snart with the ball. The two guards ( I think it was Dale and Knight) can handle the ball and shoot the ball. The Adams kid off the bench is pretty good too. They will win their District......we have some work to do. We have to start hitting from outside to get our big boys scoring. Our first 4 fould called were called CHARGES. I thought Boyd did charge the first time but the next one they called on him along with the two they called on Sorrells (#21) were just ridculous. They also called one on Clay Co where our guy was still moving..... Oh well maybe we will get better by the next time we play......

Both Clay Co teams are real good and play well together BUT PLEASE leave some of the mamas at home. THose 2-3 yelling on everytime we touched the ball that we walked and everytime yall had the ball it was a foul. They take away from the game. Got to be the worse FANS I;ve ever been around. Remember last year 2 of them were escorted out of the gym for hollering at the refs. AND THE LOUDEST ONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ESCOTED OUT LAST NIGHT....SHE SHOULD HAVE WORE HER REF SHIRT LIKE LAST YEAR..............

Just gort the word the games are on. JV game at 4:15 and the girls will tip off at 6:30 as scheduled. Boys to follow. C yall Bulldog fans there!

I'm pretty sure if Clay Co can make the trip we will play. Clay Co has already played 9 games and we have only 4. We stumbled against Eagleville but without one of our top scorers, Lee Maasen. He makes a difference with his scoring as well as his defense. He missed the first two games due to a lingering football injury but looks healthy now. Should be a good game and I know our team is looking forward to playing if the weather permits. I've heard Clay Co is the team to beat in District 7 as well as Region 4. Hopefully we will see you tonight in PossumTown. Drive careful!

TC forgot about SP around midnight....All focus will be on Onieda..you can bet your bippy on that. New coach Creasy will have them ready to play........Should be a good game and Onieda should have the advantage of not traveling. Good luck to both teams but I for one (FCS FAN) will be pulling for Region 4 to win it all.

We have a tough game Tuesday night at Eagleville. And without our leader, Lee Maasen. He still has a lingering injury that will keep him out this upcoming week. We will miss his leadership and scoring for this game.

Don't count our District 8 G'men out. They have a good team and should be in the top 2-3 in our district. So everyone already has Clay Co favored to win the region.......interesting.

Didn't recruit to my knowledge....Nathan Boyd is a senior from North Carolina. His dad's twin brother has a couple of kids in the elementary school at FCS. His dad and uncle both are pilots I think. Family moved here this month. Nathan came to our summer camps and then enrolled in August. He's a good player and will help us in the paint. We have a good nucleus of ball players and should be a good team this year and years to come. We have a Hall of Fame game tonight @ FCS. I wouldn't think the football players will play alot because they've only had one practice (yesterday)....I'm sure they will see some action but probably limited. I'm ready for Roundball!!!!

Sorry but I didn't get to the SP/FCS game Friday night. I stayed dry in PossumTown but got several updates from the sideline. This should be a heck of a game Friday night. I will be there with my FCS jacket on and hollering for the Jackets. I hope everyone from region 4 teams wears their school gear and sits on the TC side. Pull for region 4. I did watch TC play us at home and it looks like they just lined it up and ran it right at us. In getting reports from the SP/FCS game it looks like we moved the ball better there than we did at home vs TC...... This should be the game of the week.......Go Jackets and Region 4!!!!!

I'm ready for the season to begin.we host Metro Christian (Ithink its a Hall of Fame game)??? Tuesday the 18th. Also we have two new coaches that are doing our middle school teams this year so our varsity coaches can concentrate only on the high school level........that will make alot of difference

I think we over achieved last year with all sophmores and freshman (had 1 sr and 0 jr's).....I'd say FCS sould be the favorite this year and should stack up against the other district teams well....... We open up Tuesday 18th at home......I think it may be a Hall of Fame game, I'm not sure on that. We face Metro Christian???? No clue who they are or what team they have. But our football team plays Friday at South Pitt. Everyone says that SP is Gold ball bound so if they beat us we will have a weekend of practice with our football boys getting ready for the week to follow.......

Is South Pitt that good? You send your #3 team down here and they match up with RBS and MJCA?? Clay Co and Gordonsville would have easy wins against them. And Silverdale must be worst???OMG. The only thing Lookout brought was the mama that hollered the whole game. She could have stayed at home and we would have still heard her in Possuntown. Your #2 team couldn't beat Watertown at their place.....So South Pitt didn't have any competetion in their district...... Just don't be looking ahead to Trousdale Co's game because FCS will be there READY to play. And #32 was a senior but we haven't missed him.......Markem and Maasen have taken up the slack. Be prepared SP cause the Commanders are coming to your house Friday night.....Yall should be a big favorite so I hope its a good game....... If I can find out who PossumTowner is I may bring him with me!

Good job Watertown........Now good luck on the Creekbank. Our region was twice as good as theirs.

Its finally Friday.....Rain has stopped and it will be football weather come 7pm..........Hope the guys from Lookout Valley have a safe trip to and from Possumtown today. May we have a good game and of course I hope FCS wins. My prediction is FCS 27 Lookout Valley 14 Trousdale will bury Silverdale South Pitt will tame the Clay Co boys Grace Baptist sneaks by Watertown I hope I'm wrong on the GB/Watertown game...........it takes something out of a team that travels that far to play ball!

I wouldn't overlook our boys from watertown......You had better be ready to play. I hope they go to Grace and win for REGION 4..... And I will say this.......Trousdale Co will be playing in the finals of the region. Book it Dano!

Well Possumtowner....its about time you made an appearance. You use to get on here alot (2 yrs ago)...what happened? Did your son graduate? Maybe your grand kid? You use to be the talk of FCS and everyone trying to figure out your true identity. I guess you still have people wandering who you are. Me and a couple of FCS supporters were just talking about you Saturday at the gym........ Well on to the game for Friday night.......What do you think Possum? I think we take care of buisness this Friday night. I know we can't overlook this team. I heard they had 2-3 gamebreakers on the squad. I think Maasen will be back to full strength for the game. I talked to him Saturday. He's ready. I believe we are (as a team) ready as well. John will have them focused on this team only and then when we win, will switch gears for the big SP.

And one Football Note: I agree with you ZKing of DSwing, Trousdale will get the gold ball in 2008. I'll find out how good South Pitt is (barring an upset of course) in week 2 of the playoffs. They better be good because TC will tell you they are running it at you and then backing it up. Well run offense with alternating QB's. The big #5 tailback is a monster and will give you a lick when he's running the ball........

Making my first appearance on the Coach T board......Big FCS fan...... I think FCS and Gordonsville will be the teams to beat in 8A this year. From FCS's point of view we will bring back everyone but the Styles kid who graduated and went to Vol State. We did however get a new student in from North Carolina (and no we didn't recruit him). His dad has a twin brother here in Lebanon and both are pilots I think. Nathan Boyd will be the transfer and is a senior. Played with us in camp this summer. Will be an added addition to a very tall FCS team. We should win the boards in every game we play....We have Boyd, Goodner, Tetter, Sorrels, and Neal who have the height to hit the boards.......We have our playmaker Lee Maasen and should have good bench support from Wilson, Hill, Ward, Haddock, and Bentley (all soph and jr's). We also have a good nucleus of freshman that could make a difference......Reeves, Gaines, patterson, and DeFevers are just a few. I think overall we have 23 players and hopefully will have several JV games like we have had in the past few years. Looking forward to being on the board and ready for the basketball season to begin.
