This was a great game Waverly capitalized on cheatham's miscues and took care of business. The cubs tried to make a run got close and waverly kept their composure and pulled away. Great win the coaching was the best coached i've seen this year and the boys played hard..41-28 Way to go tigers the seniors went out in style at ray hampton stadium...Good Job...

We do come to the games we do encourage the players and the coaches we do thank them for their efforts. It's frustrating week in and week out i'm sorry for offending you or anyone else. Let's hope for a good senior night so we can send these young men and women off on their different paths with a promise of a good future. And yes our coaching staff cares about our kids that was never the issue..Thanks to everyone who weighed in on this.TTT out...

Good article. Thanks for sharing it with us.. To me there is no question about the coaches character,they teach the kids respect and sportsmanship. Were losing it somewhere else. You know all you got to do is ask one of our athlete's a question and you get sir or a yes ma'm. I would say the coaching staff does make our players better men,or women in society.You remember last year when all the letters to the editor hit the paper. You were a good motivator when you played. It's frustrating looking at the stands and seeing poor attendance and hearing parents and other spectators gripe. I'm not asking for a powerhouse like camden i would like a little more accountability or maybe discipline. Ray would have you running and running in his day.

I'll say Ray would always be competitive.6-4 is better than3-7. But a different world exists too your right but the majority of the kids want to play but need more motivation ..

we know there are no fines but if there were alot of your comments would be different. Nobody is trying to tear down the program the program has not lived up to expectations.you know the talent is there what's up.The kids put all they're heart into it and year in year out same thing.I just think your bashing the refs was a little too much.This program needs to step back and correct the problems would you start a new offense past mid-season sure you wouldn't.Alot of people enjoy having a chance to listen in to your gamecast but lighten up on the refs.The tigers should have taken care of business so they weren't in the situation to blame the refs.So where do you put the blame? Unfortunatly it falls on the coaches, Look our middle school program and chargers and wavo j.r. pro are successful but it's not comming over so what gives? Every program in trouble can't blame the kids or the ref's. We need to step back and have a new approach next year.. Nothing personel against you .. But we need to get this ship moving on course and change things.. Let's bring WAVO back to the status they once were......

it's got real sad here the sc. game was a trash of the tssaa officials and fines will be sent out to wqmv..

Let's get serious. Wavo has a chance,just like a snowball in h###. Wavo has talentand has had talent for years. But it comes down to coaching.. Dumb play calls equal another loss..It has come down to who can coach and who can't Wavo can't.. They lucked up against Hickman Co. and Blew by Houston Co. Looked sloppy against McEwen but hung on ugly. The players are there it's the "C" factor that has kept Wavo from any contention..Camden wins big....... 48-12 and the 12 is pushin it..

dude you have been out behind the barn smoking the whack.. wavo loses fuller,jackson,shoey,bercik,vogel,hughes,waggs, do you think for a minute that they are gonna finish first? let's get real they had the best skilled players and you see what happened this year.you don't know your --- from a hole in the ground.... even if jake comes back it will take a good year before he can be in his comfort zone after the knee injury.. what skilled players? mike purcell well he is smart baseball is his game, g.w.warden he's good but can he make the whole season? glover he's agood defender name two more they will go 500 at best......

yes i agree. season is over what's taking so long for all district,midstate teams to be named.

what are waverly's chances to get in 4-6 and 2-3 in district?
