  3. Father Ryan 43 Christian Brothers 21 It was a great afternoon of early season wrestling featuring two of the top programs in the state of Tennessee on the campus of Father Ryan High School yesterday afternoon! Both teams wrestled a couple of back ups to get experience and Father Ryan was without Eli King who was battling the flu. A few of the CBHS freshman wrestling Varsity looked really good too! I tried to keep up with all of the matches the best I could on Sunday, but if there are errors in the scoring just reply to this thread and please forgive me. HWT: 6-0 (CBHS wins with a 1st period pin) 106: 6-6 (Ryan wins with a 1st period pin) 113: 12-6 (Ryan wins by Forefit) 120: 18-6 (Ryan wins with a 1st period pin) 126: 18-9 (CBHS wins by decision 5-1) 132: 21-9 (Ryan wins by decision 3-1) 138: 24-9 (Ryan wins by a decision 4-2) 145: 27-9 (Ryan wins by a decision 5-4) 152: 33-9 (Ryan wins with a 2nd period pin) 160: 37-9 (Ryan wins with a major decision 15-7) 170: 37-12 (CBHS wins by a decision 3-0) 182: 37-15 (CBHS wins by a decision 5-4)195: 37-21 (CBHS wins with a 2nd period pin) 220: 43-21 (Ryan wins with a 1st period pin) Good luck to both teams the rest of the season!
  4. Good list! In my opinion, 4 Star Defensive Back JoeJuan Williams from Father Ryan High School who is rated the #81 player in the country in the 2016 class with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi, Penn State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt is a kid that will be on this list by the end of the 2014 season.

  20. NASHVILLE --On the strength of four pins and two major decisions, host and No.3 Father Ryan defeated No.1 Baylor, 38-26, here Thursday night. Recording pins for Ryan were Trey Chalifoux (113), Chris Wesnofske (132), Michael Eckart (138) and Ben Stacey (220), while Baylor pins were credited to Bryson Popp (160), Ryan Parker (182) and Will Thomas (285). Starting at 182, Baylor (7-2) won three of the first five matches to lead 14-9 before Ryan won the next five weights with 11 bonus points for a 35-14 advantage. After Baylor's Tate Robinson won 5-3 at 145, the Red Raiders needed falls in the final three matches to tie it 35-35. Ryan would have claimed the team win on total matches won, 8-6.
