  1. I bet the Browser would have some stories and statistics from years gone by. Just a thought. Good luck with the book!
  2. HEY MARQUIS, YOU OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT A WHITE HOUSE FAN SO WHY DON'T YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, PREFERABLY THE ROCK YOU CRAWLED OUT FROM UNDER AND LEAVE THE GOOD, KIND CITIZENS OF WHITE HOUSE ALONE? PLEASE, DON'T RESPOND. JUST DO IT ALREADY! YOU KNOW, DON'T GO AWAY MAD, JUST GO AWAY!!
  3. Hey howdoitknow, WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK IN THE HOLE YOU CRAWLED OUT OF?! Obviously you are not a WH fan, so go find somewhere else to get your jollies and leave the good, kind citizens of White House alone! Enough said! JUST DO IT ALREADY!!
  4. How much time did all those you mention spend on the sidelines? Do you even know? You obviosly didn't watch the game cuz boone wasn't lined up against him! Most of the boys on our line play both sides of the ball coming out only for special teams! Yeah, think how we'd cram it down YOUR THROATS if they had a chance to catch their breath and stay fresh! I know for a fact that at the end of the game the player lined up against Hood was still shoving it down his throat and ready keep playing!! Three of those from White House on the All-Region team were counted on to stay in the game, ALL GAME, AND THEY DID!! AND DID THEIR JOBS! SO PUT THAT IN YOUR PIE-HOLE AND STICK TO WHAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW. BTW since when is winning by one TD ramming down our throats?! All the points in 1st half we gave to Catholic.
  5. Funny thing I've also noticed. The quiet ones let their might do all the talkin' for 'em! Put up or Shut up! Do work son! They're usually pretty low key off the field, too! Pretty unpretentious, for the most part. Don't need to tell it when you can show it! Preach on!
  6. I agree with you both. I believe he is an excellent coach and play caller. Not gonna say anything bad either. It just appeared like he lost a little faith in QB's throwing abilities during third quarter. So maybe I can seen their point of view. Been to all the games. Seen bad throws all year. Seen him throw it back at 'em, too. And come out on top! One or two bad throws don't equate abandoning game plan. Certainly can't lose faith in those WR's! The run certainly wasn't working well that night in those series. Then again, could just be disappointment from a loyal fan who really wanted to see the boys get to the 'boro. I know I sure did! Notice when the post was written? Maybe just having an off moment! Can't blame 'em! I've had better weekends! Anyway, Keep The Faith! Time to get ready for next year! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  7. Sorry to hear that there was name calling like that. I was one of those shaker people. First time, too. At my age I can promise you that they are not as harmless as they look (regular 24 oz bottle, not laundry detergent size)! I felt like I had worked in a rock quarry for 2-3 days! Ever have stone bruises on your hands? Yeah, me neither. I must have been too focused on the game and field to notice that kind of chatter. Shame on them. BTW it touched my soul when KC boys kneeled and prayed as a team! I had heard what they had done for your neighbors when those cheerleaders were killed. That kind of behavior doesn't come from out of the blue. That's called being raised! A friend of mine once said " Some people are raised, others just grew up". Actually it went like this: You weren't raised, you just grew up!" I believe that behavior is a true reflection not only on the person, but their family. My little brother and wife happen to be down visiting so they went to the game with us. They said it was the best football game they had ever seen! I'm proud of all those boys (young men) on the field that night!
  8. AMAZING!!!! You would've thought we were at home!! We got there 2 hours early, started cheering while the teams warmed up. Didn't stop, didn't sit! Made it seem like they had no fans! The only cheering from the KC adult crowd was "golf clap" only! Very disappointing that they didn't bring it for their boys! The KC kids made a pretty decent showing by 1/2 time, but they couldn't touch us! Never too much BDP!! We even cheered our boys after the last whistle blew because we were so proud of those boys that we wanted them to know EXACTLY what we thought of them! It was a night I'll never forget! It was worth every penny spent for gas, room, eats and entry fee x 3! Who cares about NFL when you have that much determination on the field and in the stands! DiehardBlueDevel, wish you could've been there! Maybe they'll have game video available later. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  9. White House has not acted or thought of ourselves as "God's gift to football". In fact it has been just the opposite. In almost every link we've been seen as the underdog. Certainly not given any respect on most posts here. I happen to be one of those parents that arrived early on Friday. We waited patiently for the gates to open. We went to the stands and saw that everything was taped off except for the section between Irish students and Irish Parents. There was a man with tape and barrel still marking off sections for KC. At this point we thought that this was intimidation in the stands at its best. Being surrounded by KC fans! At that point why didn't the "bleacher police" let us know that there was a section further down that was reserved for us! We were in no way imposing or ugly! We just wanted decent seating. From our perspective this was the ONLY seats available for WH! Enough bashing of WH please. Ask any school visiting our stadium! We love a good game and appreciate fan participation insomuch that our announcer will encourage visitors to get vocal and support their players! Mopre to the point of our teams' attitude, we knew 2 years ago we had average qb, last year knew we had real young qb, this year we knew we had unique group of talent coming together. How does that relay to God's gift? Oh well, life will continue and so shall we. Good luck to the remaining teams. My only hope is that both teams have there best game ever and the winner will come out on top! That is all we really wanted for our boys last friday! It is just football, remember? Remember all the folks that have passed on prematurely during this season, while we gripe and complain. How blessed we are that we can enjoy the best entertainment $7.00 ever bought!
  10. As a parent of a senior I feel confident in saying that most ALL seniors on this team feel that they should be playing on Saturday in the Boro! The errors at friday's game hadn't happened all year long, let alone together in one game! I know they keep replaying the game in their heads, wishing for a "Do-over"!. Given a chance best 2 out of 3 we would come away winners easily! Unfortunately that isn't the real world. Learning to deal with hard losses and moving on with life is a personal growth experience they must all deal with. Hopefully they can move on past friday and look to what lies ahead. I hope their coaches will give them some insight. Everyone keeps saying how many of these boys should be playing on Saturdays next year, maybe not D1, but playing just the same. I have noticed that for all the talent coming out of White House in the past years that there aren't a lot of boys going on to the next level. I hope the coaches will help this group of boys - even the ones who aren't the "superstars"- get a shot at the next level. Sometimes all they need are a little nudge in the right direction! Either way I love all those boys! They are a special group and are extremely close! Proud of them all, and will continue to go to games to support the team!
