  1. Awesome, yes, FRA beat CCS, but lost to Notre Dame, who lost to CCS. It is quite irrelevant that imthathard even did "rankings" for the tournament. Since all three teams are 1-1 against each other, it would be fair to say that they are all the same.
  2. Granted, because of the relative weakness of AAA soccer in the Chattanooga area, we (CCS) haven't had a chance to play the best AAA teams in the state, but without question the big four A/AA teams (CCS, FRA, CAK, LC) can play with anybody in Tennessee. So far CCS is 4-0 against AAA schools, beating Cookeville 5-0, Soddy Daisy 2-0, Franklin Co. 4-0, and Ooltewah 2-1. I would think, but I'm too lazy to check that these other three teams also have very good records versus AAA schools. DII as a whole is, and should be, the top level of play. With the relatively small number of schools in DII to have CBHS, Mccallie, Baylor, Knox Catholic, MUS, ECS, and BGA all in this division says alot.
  3. Good for Coulter. Maybe he'll manage getting suspended for a year in high school like he did in club.
  4. Who are these schools, besides USJ?
  5. Sloppy play, a bunch of subs, and a backup keeper.
  6. Nobody gets there without winning so we probably deserve to be there, but that's not granted until we win. Back to this thread...Page is an A/AA school right? If so, how are they?
  7. What's last year? Columbia Central in the state tournament?
  8. Yes, I do play for a good team, but I am really just messing around on here. I'm also kind of bitter because a Franklin Co. kid hit me late after I had played the ball and sprained my knee pretty bad. Good for Columbia Central, do they still have the really good keeper? That's true they had an easy schedule considering they played Red Bank in the sectionals (I think), but they still got there, as did the team that I play for.
  9. Notre Dame is a good team. They beat you. You beat us. We beat them. That's why games are played. FRA is in no way unbeatable, and ND proved that. True, God's gift to soccer made one small mistake, but you still lost. I've actually heard more excuses about your "mistake" then I have from myself and my teamates about the own goal you beat us on. We beat ND 2-1 and they just lost tonight to Baylor 2-1, so yes, they are a good team.
  10. Haha, thanks for the hand. Good luck teams, you're all amazing in God's eyes.
  11. ND, CSAS, Ooltewah, Soddy
  12. Well, yeah the Middle is probably better than the west, but that wasn't the question.
  13. West Tenn. Christian Brothers MUS Houston Ridgeway East Tenn. Farragut Bearden Mcminn Co. Mccallie Baylor CCS CAK Lenior City Knox Catholic
  14. What number is the Ooltewah kid, because after watching them play I am convinced that their team is Criss Golden, Criss Golden, etc. They are also especially sore losers when they accuse a guy on our team of flipping them off during a goal celebration which he has done about 50 times before. Way to go Ooltewah.
  15. Wow, that's really strange. I'm the real Jumparound and somebody just posted something under my name. Also, I'm the "hurt starter" and true Sasse doesn't quite have as much experience as I do, but it's not fair to him to label him as an inexperienced defender. He played a good game and had one unfortunate touch. Also, our keeper wasn't on the ground at the time, he was up and almost got a touch on the ball. I saw the whole thing.
  16. Soccerinfo has problems recognizing two games in a day. You should email the guy and tell him that that is a problem. I guess that you're referring to the CCS schedule since the FRA games not even on there? I have a membership on that site, but because there is already a game for that date, I can't enter in another score.
  17. While we're somewhat on the subject of comparing Pedro and Drew let's consider a couple things. Pedro = one dimensional player, he dribbles down the sideline, beats a guy and then loses it to the second defender. Drew = can (and does or has) play(ed) any position on the field, scores goals, gets assists, beats people and actually passes. Drew is 10 times the player Pedro is, even if he can dribble well.
  18. Nobody had control of the FRA v CCS game. It was mostly played in the midfield. FRA had 5 shots and CCS had 4. The only goal scored was off an own goal by an inexperienced left back that was taking the spot of the hurt starter. It was very physical. A fun match. FRA had the first half, but CCS had control of the second. Really could have gone either way. Should be a fun re-match in state if it happens.
  19. Why wouldn't FRA be in everyone's top 5. Without question CAK, CCS, FRA, and Lenior City are the top 4 teams.
  20. It was a good but kinda sloppy game with us (CCS). Our stats showed that FRA had 5 shots and we had 4, which shows alot of midfield play. It's a shame that such an even game was decided by a fluke own goal, but hey that's a part of the game. I really wish I could have played at all today, but I sprained my knee in the Franklin Co. game after some kid ran through after I had played the ball. Oh well, good job to all the teams, and hey could you ask for better soccer weather and field conditions. I thought the fields, even our practice field, were in awesome shape.
  21. You will play at least 1 game on our game field and I think your first game is. Our other two fields are both in really good shape right now. One is in a track, so it's a bit small, but our main practice field is huge and close to as nice as our game field. It should be a smooth tournament. I don't know anything about Franklin Co., only that we beat them handily 8-0 in this tournament last year.
  22. CCS vs. Franklin Co. FRA vs. Knox Catholic CPA vs. Tullahoma (maybe) Notre Dame vs. Ooltewah (maybe) these games probably aren't right because I haven't seen this side of the bracket.
  23. Trevor Owens, their best player.
  24. I think it would be fair to say that Memphis and Knoxville cancel each other out, and that makes East TN much better since it includes Chattanooga and everywhere in between (Mcminn Co., Lenior City *or is it Knoxville too?). 2 of the 3 state champions were East TN, and 4 of the 6 teams in the finals last year. It would surprising to see anything different this year.
