  1. Milan for sure hasn't seen a passing game like CAK's this year, CAK on the other hand has played against some pretty good defenses. If Milan can keep the score around 14-17 at half and 28-31 at the end, then we have a chance to win. I don't think we can win in a shoot-out, with scores in the 35-42 range. The lower the score the higher the odds of a Milan victory.
  2. I can appreciate all the love being dished out, but it's making it really difficult to poke at the CAK fans. Oh well I got lucky it seems, I made reservations Friday night after the game, friends on Facebook are saying hotel rooms are hard to find. I'll have floor space if anyone needs it, just bring your sleeping bag.
  3. Leaving for Cookeville early Friday to watch my Bulldawgs and then as an extra bonus, kinda like Christmas comes early, we get to watch the best team in 5A, Henry County. The Pats by double digits.
  4. Volfan, the pills you took must of really kicked in just before you typed the last paragraph of the above post. OR, maybe you've eaten too much over the last few days and your brain is only running about 25% of normal, in either case, you need a nap!!!!
  5. BC, I would say your analysis of the game is about right, I hope we can squeeze out a few more points and can somehow hold CAK to around 28-31. IMO Milan's offense has got to have 2-3 long scoring drives, keeping CAK's offense off the field is key.
  6. Looking forward to a Milan/CAK game finally. It's been stated many times, here on coach T, that CAK was the second best team when Alcoa was winning all those championships. I thought it would have been a heck of game and still do. Milan will be considered the underdog in this game and without a doubt CAK will be the best team we've played. This might not be our most talented team in recent years, but they are playing good solid football and seem to know that their No. 1 fan, Mr. Charlie Reagan, is rooting them on. Good luck to both teams Milan by a field goal.
  7. Congrats Henry County, looking forward to watching Milan and HC next Friday.
  8. Good game CPA, good tough defensive struggle. I think Milan could of played better on offense. Bulldogs are Cookeville Bound!!!!! HowdoIknow.......you really are a sad little boy.
  9. "But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion." Ecclesiastes 9:4
  10. I have the in-laws in from Orlando, will be their first TN high school football experience tonight. Praying for the Lion's team, coaches, band members, and all their fans a safe drive to Milan.
  11. Husker, having a little Thanksgiving libation it seems, and you didn't invite me?
  12. If you leave in the middle of the 3rd qtr, which is what most visiting teams do, you will be able to get back on hwy 45 just fine.
  13. If you park back there in the playoffs it will take you forever to get out.
  14. Ditto... May be the dumbest crew in all of high school football. I don't think MW or COV will have an advantage, I know one thing, I hope the two coaches can keep their cool!!!!
  15. I see howdoIknow has left the middle school soccer threads where he was laying down some knowledge. Nothing worse than a fan with no team to root for. Instead of posting on Coach T all day, you should be performing your duties and responsibilities as the Village Idiot of Cheatham County. Now stop playing with your wand and go amuse the town folk.
  16. Alcoa could hire Derek Drooley, he would look good in maroon pants!!!!
  17. I watched some of the CPA/GP game last night, maybe a little practice wouldn't be a bad idea. I think Milan will win by double digits.
  18. When you get this far in the playoffs, does it really matter who you've played in week 2 or 3. What matters the most IMO is how are you playing now, what key injuries you have, and what you do in practice. If Milan continues to practice and play like they have over the last three weeks, the Bulldogs and CAK will be playing for the Title.
  19. Me ignorant, go back and read your lame post, if you would have only given one excuse it might not be as funny. Let me review Fairview's performance, good drive 1st qtr, good pass before half, OK I done. Sorry to drop the bad news, Fairview got beat by a better team, better teams make you have stupid mistakes. We've played Alcoa a few times, and after both of those loses in the finals, believe me, I was the coulda, woulda, shoulda man. They were just better, plain and simple!!!!!! Sorry
  20. Henry County fans just can't seemed to get over Milan running over them the last 4 times we played, so they crash our threads a lot, sorry!!
  21. The speed limit goes down to 55 in Medina, they have cameras, and they generate a lot of money with them.
  22. Missed tackles,(we call it getting run over here in West TN), a bad throw, (only one), fumbles on kickoffs (only on kickoffs), Milan's FB running over our DB's, the short road trip, our PA guy, although he would be a good DJ for a strip club, Milan's speed, Milan's D-line and LB's, Milan's offense, Milan's coaching staff. Milan in general........ I hope I didn't leave out any major ones!!!!!!
