  1. I've seen Bolivar play, they will have serious trouble with Milan's size on the O line. The Dawgs wear out Bolivar's D and pull away in the second half.
  2. I agree with BPM. Medina is not Milan's biggest rivalry. They will have to pull out more than one win for this game to become such. Huntingdon by far is our biggest, followed by Humboldt and Trenton. Milan wins by 3-4 td's Friday.
  3. I hate to hear Fields will not play. I know Milan would like play Dyersburg at full strength.
  4. Milan has too many weapons! Dyersburg's players will be like Chris Tucker in the movie Rush Hour, "which one of y'all kicked me"? The Bulldawgs wear down the Trojanettes midway through the 3rd qtr, and pull away for a 21 pt win. Even after a win by the Big Dogs, the Dyersburg faithful can still take comfort in the fact, that you still have a nice stadium.
  5. Sounds like Huntingdon's ground game is taking over. McKenzie is soft on run defense.
  6. BPM does L. Brooks have any college offers other than local schools.
  7. If Milan's first teamers are playing in the second half I will be surprised. Milan 50+ Selmer 7
  8. I don't think anyone would disagree that SGC's first 6 opponents are about as weak as you can get. I haven't seen them play but I'm gonna say they lose their last 4 games. Dyersburg, Liberty, and Milan games will be running clock by 3rd or 4th quarter. SGC should schedule better competition. First 6 teams have 6 wins combined and throw in a JV team like Nolensville.
  9. I'm picking Dburg. If Dburg beats Liberty and Milan beats Dburg who wins the region?
  10. Throwing it to the other team is definitely an added dimension.
  11. Milan 62 Huntingdon 18 Gonna take a few generations to get over that beating.
  12. Good lord, this post needed a running clock. Please don't post chapter 2. Milan embarrassing the Mustangs. 55 to 18. Milan 2nd and 3rd teams and about to score.
  13. Congrats on the win, maybe we will have rematch in a few months. Although Dyersburg and Bolivar might have something to say about that. Hope you guys have an injury free rest of the season.
  14. Ouch! After tonight they are gonna shut down Liberty and open JCM back up.
  15. I like my cream puffs with jelly on the inside, but I wouldn't drive two hours for one. That's the kinda games that will get you ready for Liberty, Milan, and Dyersburg..
  16. I agree with Cofo, it's a toss up. More than likely these two teams will meet again in the quarters. Milan. 24 Liberty. 21
  17. no surprise! Milan way to many weapons!
  18. Milan will be up by 14 at the half and 20+ by the time Miss Trenton starts singing.
  19. You think South Gibson's triple option offense is a good scheme? They are undersized with a weak passing game. That's gonna be really tough to stop. NOT! By the way, losing a guy like Dysart, who could take it to the house at anytime, significantly hurts that team. Clearly the best player they had. They will finish 5th again, and not make it to the playoffs.
  20. I'm sure you know about those......... Short-Bus rides!!
  21. We want it Ugly, the uglier the better. Milan wins on a late field goal 24-21.
  22. Good game Chargers. Milan with over 100yrds in penalties. Liberty will beat us by Double digits if we continue to play like that. That's two playoff games in a row that we just don't have our heads in the game.
  23. Can someone fill me in on the Heritage part of the school name? Just curious. As a Milan homer I really miss the Milan/Camden playoff games!! Some of those were classic, hard nosed, Ward vs Morrris, low scoring battles. I have a great deal of respect for the Camden Lions and their fans. White House ,enjoy the atmosphere, they love their team! Keep an eye on their RB, he's special. Camden wins at home. (RCombs) where are you?
  24. I don't know, they beat us pretty good early in the season. Milan just didn't play up to their skill level early in the season. But make no mistake, Liberty has a really Good team and the first year head coach has them playing solid football. Milan is known for playing well in the playoffs. I think the Bolivar game was a combination of a bad week of practice, overlooking Bolivar(players), and just Not being hyped up for the game. I think Milan will be amped for this game. I think the BullDawgs defense will overpower a young Charger O line. I guess the answer to your question is yes, they would rather play Covington. They know Milan will want revenge, and the pressure will clearly be on them with a undefeated team playing at home.
