Zach Ryan's long throws are looking really good, the one down the middle for a 50-60 yrd TD was very nice. Stewart County was completely outmatched. 1 game at a time bulldawgs.

37% of Alcoa's football team lives outside of their dist. (that % came from Alcoa).. It's all been said before, it's not an equal playing field, without the out of dist. players they would be like all the other teams in TN, some good years and some just soso years, but frankly I'm tired of reading about it. If and when they get beat it will be all the more enjoyable. And here's to, raise your glasses please, hoping its this year.

Iluvsports......I've seen him, and agree, he is a great high school back, and he does run tough, but he also runs through holes as big as a bus. If he wins Mr. Football this year he would be deserving and everyone from Alcoa says he's a great kid off the field. A. Williams and J. Gilbert are very much the same. They both are good students and great players. I think the Mr. Football award should be given to the best all around student athlete. Good luck to all of them.

Westview has been in our Dist. for a long time, never overlook them, and they are playing good ball at the right time. Their coaching staff does a good job of game planning for the other team. Camden is a team ,I think, thats very easy to prepare for. Westview will have a much harder time beating Manassas.

Toney is a very good RB, but I could name 10-15 RB's across the state of TN that would have great numbers running behind Alcoa's big O-line. What's everyones thoughts on that?

The Toney kid will probaly win, he' the pretty choice, playing for the MIGHTY ALCOA, but Gilbert will be a better college running back. If Avery Williams doesn't win, it's like 1997 all over again.

Alcoa dominated Milan last year? I would say we got beat, 0-0 midway through the 2nd quarter, if I remember. Alcoa punt return, with a push in the back that didn't get called and a 28-14 final score.

Are you comparing Alcoa and Goodpasture? Sounds to me you would rather play GP in the title game.

Milan is the only team that would have a chance against Alcoa. Goodpasture should be tired of getting completely dominated by um. Milan didn't play well last year in the title game. The 28-14 loss was partly big game jitters and partly poor play on our part. Alcoa might very well beat us again, but it will not be because of those two reasons. Goodpasture might get lucky enough to get a close up look at the 3 best linebackers in TN, and oh, one of the two best running backs. If you get a chance please check out Gilbert vs Crockett County..... 197 yds 3 TD's. The only person he didn't run over was their coach. Check Mate!!!

Everyone relax, I'm just trying to get a rise out of some Goodpasture fans. Talking a little smack is part of the fun. If your feelings are hurt, maybe you should get on the "chess" message board. I stand behind what I said about Milan getting back to the title game, the most focused Milan team I've seen since we were undefeated and won the title. I played football for Milan under Tucker, and watched them play ever since. Please do not say I'm not a Milan guy, I played championship football before you clowns were born.

Milan doesn't give a rat's #### who recruits and if your public or private, we line up and play hard every Friday night. We are better and stronger than last year, so it doesn't matter who we meet in the semi's, because there are no teams in Quad 3 or 4 that the BULL DAWGS can't beat by 2-3TD's. What I'm trying to say is this...Goodpasture fans, good luck next year!!!

I think Alcoa fans are a little full of themselves, MUS could beat alot of small college schools. MUS by 30+ easy, but Alcoa might be the second best High School team in TN.

After watching Milan last night, I can see a rematch in the title game also.

I was shocked to see how slow Crockett County is, talk about overrated, Milan completly dominated at every position. Jabronk, and Avery total beast, Avery had a field day, and Gilbert ran over everyone on Crockett's Defense, I don't think Crockett County was even the 2nd best team we've played all year. Go Dawgs

Is this year's goodpasture team any better than the 08 bunch? Last year you had a little running back and not much else.
