when you saw film of Milan JCS game you have to keep in mind that Milan played without 8 starters. You remember last year it was the same thing, in the regular season it was a close game, but in the playoffs we had everyone back, the game was over at half

So Crickett County runs the ball most of the time, is that what your saying? With Milan's two D1 linebackers and a D1 Def. lineman, along with a junior linebacker that could start for any school in TN, sounds like a huge matchup problem for you guys.

Tornadogold....when was the last time you guys thought there might be a chance you could get beat, besides the Maryville game every year? Be Honest I'm mostly talking about Dist. games

Alcoa has had alot of success in 2A, they have a good coach, smart kids, good sportsmanship, etc.... It would be hard to figure out how much of their success comes from OOZ players. I do know that a large portion of Tennessee High School football fans have no idea about the number of Players that Alcoa and even Maryville have on their teams that are out of DIST. Schools in rural West and Middle TN would have a hard time doing that. But I'm sure they would if they could.

Westview 20 Dyersburg 7 Are you kidding me? The only team that hasn't beaten Martin is Dyersburg and that School for the Deaf.(they are really great at hand signals)

Westview had a Fullback a couple years ago, they were undefeated, we heard how he was gonna run over Milan, we played them at UTM stadium and he didn,t do squat. I think he had around 60 yds, no TD,s. He was bigger and alot faster than the one at Crickett County. I've seen your guy, he seems to be in slow motion and thats running down hill. Milan has Linemen faster than him. If your thinking that he's gonna take you to the promise land, start self medicating know. Bulldogs win by 30+

Hey Ratherbedancin, sum is the total of two or more parts. SOME of us think Crockett and Dyersburg are just not up to playing Milan close. Roll up your bottom lip its just smack talk.

Hey Camden fans I think we are all praying for a Milan---Camden showdown. If that happens does anyone know where the game would be played, if both teams remain undefeated. Good luck the rest of the season

I just don't see Dyersburg or Crockett being able to stay with Milan past the 1st QTR. Milan beats both teams by 30+. Milan had all players back for the first time all year, with the exception of Matt Wise and he's out for the year. Milan will go undefeated in the regular season again.

Dyersburg or Crockett couldn't beat Milan if they picked the best players from both teams. Milan for the first time was healthy, all players are back, and with a weeks rest. Milan 40+ and Dyersburg might have a late score like ripley if we put in the cheerleaders.

I agree staying within one score of Maryville is darn good, but If I had a nickle everytime I heard that, I would be rich. Looking at Marion County's schedule: refer to my previous post, who is Taft Youth Center?

lets talk about Alcoa's really tough schedule....... Spring Hill 2-8.................their two wins Mont. Central...0-10 Creek Wood.....1-9 Booker T 2-8................. " Whartburg 1-9.................please Oliver Springs 2-9.........Oliver Springs had a one-legged kicker Sweetwater 4-6 Rockwood 4-6 Loudon 8-5 CAK 7-5 Alcoa's notion that Marion County would beat Milan. Teams that Marion Cty beat were a combined 27-56 But Marion County did beat a very talented Taft Youth Center......what is that, a reform school

I'm not saying Cunningham is not a good back, but I could name at least ten RB/QB's that look just as good if not better running the football. He did have over 100 yds vs Milan but he still didn't do anything that made me say WOW. I was suprised he didn't seem to get too tired playing both ways.

I stood at the entrance to the Milan side of the field from 6pm untill the game was over and Saban never game through. I don't know what all the hype is, Cunningham looked OK, GP must have played some weak D's in the regular season and in the playoffs. Just because a kid puts up big numbers does not always mean he can play at the next level.

Tornadofan15.....all Milan wanted was a shot, we may get beat by 30, but aleast we get to step up to the plate. Everyone's wondering just how good Milan is, the problem, we really don't know. I think Alcoa is as good as advertised, just have to wait until Friday to find out if this Milan team belongs.

I did a little research, Milan gave up 119 pts in 14 games with the 1st team defense..........thats 8.5 per game.

I stayed in Alcoa when my son was invited to visit UTK campus a few months ago. I believe high schoolfootball in that town is like their religion. I'm afraid if Milan wins friday night there will not be enough head doctors to go around. I can just see every 30-40 yr old beer gutted alcoa grad talking about when he made that tackle or block .......etc.....and how special it was when he and homerlean got married on the 50yrd line before the game.
