Everyone else let Upperman and La beat each other up. Cannon County means to play a fast pace game with good defence. You don't have to be big to be good. I see two wins.

Bad Riverdale ? They looked pretty good to me. Is upperman playing anywere ?

I' am a CC fan and supporter and thinking they may be a little better than they were picked pre- season. Great Defence and good shooting. I may be wrong

Cannon County off to a great start. What does anyone else think how they will fair with 3 teams not seen in the District?

If LA plays the way that got them there and has a strong shooting game in the start that will put them on there heals! Strong play between the two towers and that will keep them off balance and will have to run the ball weather they want to or not. GO HOG EYES FROM CANNON COUNTY!!!

oldkodger- Some said 8AA was weak! I think LA CC and the rest of the district can show everyone else these old corn fed country boys can play basketball! Good luck LA and Cannon County! We both have beat Chattanooga teams let's do it one more time!!!

YES! I think CC Can be a problem for Howard. If we keep turnovers down get a few to drop in a couple of minutes play Defence we may have a chance. I am not selling Howard short. Both teams are in the sub-state for a reason! We will run the ball and run fast because when your small you run closer to the ground (wind resistance) just kidding. It may be as ugly as a empty glass of buttermilk! I don't think it will. Let's sit back and enjoy the game.

Congrats to LA a class act! The first quater killed us with the LA defence and the hot hand of LA! I would have liked to have shot at least one free throw just to see if we could have made one. Again good luck to LA and to our Lions against Howard!

Congrats to DC and UPPERMAN both have been a thorn in our side all season. Bad ref's are getting worse and I hope a little off season training helps in 8AA May be Melton should step down that may be the problem. Turnovers hurt us last nite but we had good balance scoring which we have got to have. Bring on the hog-eyes its going to be fun Thursday nite. GO LIONS

Hey! I believe it was a unanimous vote by the district! That means everyone voted on all 3(three)! We just beat a very good Chattanooga Norte Dame team. That was the reason they were there. Maybe you will have a better day today! GIVE ME A FULL REPORT AND DON'T HOLD BACK.

oldkodger- If you bring the country Ham and Rabbitt brings the rabbit stew I will bring the spring water and I don't care which side we sit on! We may just sit in the back of my truck and listen on the radio. A lot of people are putting to much thought into this LA and coach Melton situation that is not there. A coach can only coach he cannot play. We missed over 20 shots in the paint the other nite against a very good Upperman Team which is were they are now.It just was not our nite! Good luck to everyone but it is still hard to beat a team 3 times just like Upperman beat us. LA watch out

To Dekalb County and to coach Martin! I enjoy watching good Basketball and this District is where you want to be. We came up short could not get the offence started. Still Ball to play!

I will stick with the rabbit feet besides the Bee suit is to hot! To sweety if you can get air in a Basketball and your are in a district setting every district is good!!! Sounds like you lost your sight of Basketball. Grow up and if you think LA is not worthy well then suit up they will show you pretty quick and I am not even a LA fan! I think any team in 8AA will show you what a weak team is.

Been collecting rabbit feet (not for good luck) after the LA and CC game. No one can say this is not a great district for H.S. basketball from the top to bottom. Got to go and pass out these feet. Still have no ideal out this turns out hard to beat someone 3 times. Your rabbits do pretty good on 3 legs but some of them still fall over!

No one seems to want to ask about Tournament play for 8AA but I will. Anybody have any thoughts
