This was one of the best played games of the season. This is what great high school football is like. I was amazed with the efforts of Fairview to come back. Sanford, Caldwell, and Beathard were beasts in the second half. #33 for Camden is a special player who got it done for Camden. I am disappointed for the Jacket team as they gave their best effort to win but came up just short. This will probably happen again next year. Go Jackects. It will be different next year with the new group of players. We will have a big QB hole to fill with Zimmerman graduating but coach Hughes always manages to find a way.

Well now that CPA has been humbled maybe they will stop targeting players. I had always supported CPA until I watched them do this in 2 games. The same players in both games. Still wondering why #10 was not flagged for targeting after his cheap shot on Fvhs's quarterback. Congratulations ALCOA.

Brawler, you are spot on with this post. #10 took another cheap shot on an earlier interception and was congratulated for it on the sideline by other play. I did hate seeing # 2 for the jackets losing his composure and getting kicked out of the game. What also bothered me was the feeling their head coach Martin could walk onto the field anytime he wanted to intimidate the officials. At least they called him once for it. Congratulatis to the jackets on a fine season.

Can't wait to watch this one on Williamson county tv. It was a game of the week covered by the Williamson county crew. We all know of their bias favoring Page. It will be interesting to listen to them early in the game with the change that will take place as the jackets put a yellow jacket whooping on Page. I have been waiting a year for this game.

Good luck to them I think 48 has the best chance. His body type is what colleges look for.

Not sure about the Wall comment. #22 is an outstanding player but there are at least 2 others. Let me educate Lcp on our athletes. There are currently 3 being recruited to play on Saturday. Wall is the one getting the most attention from bigger schools but the others will play on Saturday too. How many do you have# 48 was the only one I saw who can play d2 or NAIA. The keys to LC success are the outstanding coaches and players who play disciplined mistake free football. This formula will result in success for your football team.

Swarm I will disagree with your last response. Dominated.????? You must have been on the sauce. 3 point game with us moving up and down the field all night. Except when ever we got close the hankies went flying. I won't go into the blatant holding on #23 on 3 occasions or the Bogus illegal receiver down field call to name a few . We LOST I get it. you will never read a negative comment from me about LC. They are a class act but please get over yourself and your so called expertise. Like I wrote I hope these 2 teams play again. I will also bet this officiating crew will have no one selected for the playoffs.

Wiseoldmangiles, I love your quote by Nick Saban. LC won the game but in a rematch on a neutral field I pick fvhs 8 out of 10 times. LC played a very good game but the other game of physicality was not won by LC. Both teams were bringing it last night. Good luck to you and Giles the rest of the year. I do miss playing you guys (would have been nice to win one though). Your team was fun to watch and they brought out the best in us.

Two very good football teams played last night. The most disappointing thing about the game was the horrible officiating which was so one sided it took you breath away. Nearly 300 yards lost in penalties but what was worse was the timing of them. For those who have access to wcstbe.wcs.edu I encourage you to watch the game and pay close attention to the officiating. Lewis County is a very good football team who played outstanding football, beating them is hard enough to accomplish but with the officiating and 5 lost turnovers it was to big a hill to climb. I hope we meet again and this time the players will decide the outcome of the game.

This one surprised me but hats off to East Hickman. Coach Rewis teams rarely lose close games and are always in shape. Good luck to both teams this year except when you play the Jackets.

Look forward to the game between LC & Fairview. Beagle I appreciate your incite having seen both teams. That is why they play the game... I have watched the jackets several times this year and this team is getting better each week. LC is always well coached and play hard nosed football. It will be a great game to watch. Does anyone know what happened to the old Camden coach. His teams played flawless football and never beat themselves.

Lewis County is always tough but I believe the jackets will be one of their most formidable foes. I have not seen lc play but I believe the jackets are the class of the district.

Fairview has a group of guys that believe in the word "team". Last years team was a little more talented but they never jelled as a team. When I watch this team this year you can see the camaraderie amongst the players. "22" is this years beast. I am told he is an awesome leader on the practice field. I am not sure how deep this team will go in the playoffs but I am sure they will leave it all on the field in every game they play. Before we go writing off CW I think it is important to note they beat Dickson county earlier this year. Their line is improving every week so we better come prepared to play tonight.

Whoa..... Both teams will need to buckle their chin straps. Cheatham is playing outstanding football right now your discipline and physicality are the reason you are 11-0. We need to come ready to play football and leave the histrionics on the bus. IMHO this game will come down to who has the fewest turnovers AND who plays with the most focus. I left off intensity because both teams will be ready. The good news for us is our defense is healthy. As Dick Enberg used to say "OH MY" this is going to be a slobber knocker. Good luck Bigdaddy67 but my heart is with the jackets. Go JACKETS!!!!

Great victory for the jackets looking forward to the rematch next week. The jackets can savor the flavor this weekend but we need to get our head on right for cheatham county. Jackets we need to remember cheatham beat us up the first time they owned the line of scrimmage. It is time to get our heads on right and play to perfection. We cannot have 5 turnovers next week and expect to win. Play like champions there is no place in the playoffs for bush league amatuerish classless taunting. We have enough talent to get the job done with-out the chest thumping and trash talking. Gerry Bertier probably knows the quote better than I. "I don't care if you like each other or not, but you will respect each other. And maybe... I don't know, maybe we'll learn to play this game like men." If we do this we can go a long way. One more quote for Gerry "Well that football field out there, that's our universe. Let's rule it like titans."

I apologize for injecting into this blog as I am not associated with either program. Earlier posts indicated playing back in the day required a certain type of behavior. i.e. you when like a champion. When players broke the unwritten rules there was retribution it may not occur in the game but teams down the line would know what happened so payback would occur. So CAK when payback occurs we should not read any whining on coacht.

This will be a very good game for both teams. My question is; how did hickman county get seeded 4th while fvhs is seeded 5th? Fvhs is 6-2 in conference while hickman is 4-4.

MC fans you need to know your team showed they can be explosive. The had cut the lead to 27-14 and were set to receive a punt just before half. At this point in the game momentum was starting to ebb its way to mc. All that was blown away when the punt return man fumbled the punt which we recovered. Your defense forced a 4th and goal but we scored on a double reverse pass. This one play took away alot of momentum but your team responded with a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half. We matched it then on your next possesion the qb made his only mistake of the night by throwing an inteception. We scored and that was pretty much the game. My take away from the game MC should open up their offense run the spread option . This opened up the passing game for #16. Our Jackets offense was dominant all night.

The jackets will come ready to play but Giles has a team that is reminiscent of their state championship team. Should be a great game for the fans of both teams. Last years game was pretty good gchs depth finally wore down the jackets in the second half. As a jacket fan I think they can win but it will take a phenomenal effort in all facets of the game.

Julian I played post high school... what you are saying is pure bull$%#%. Dirty play has not place in football never has and never will. You must have played for a moron in college. I have never seen 21 be dirty but i did watch the page game twice and saw plenty of late hits on him and franklin. in the third quarter there was a play where a page player hit a little late and a little low on franklin. I will be paying close attention these next few weeks and will report back objectively what I am seeing.
