Hendersonville - 2 Franklin - 1

My son who is a 91 player signed with a D1 school in February of this year. He was not recruited/contacted until July of 2008 (the summer after his Junior year). The school he committed to contacted him on July 1st after his Junior year. This the 1st day of legal recruiting. He was recruited by D1,D2 and NAIA schools throughout the rest of that summer and the fall of his Senior year. He made his verbal decision in December of 2008 and signed his letter of intent Feb 2009. Starts college this August. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Farragut scores on a restart. Referee was looking down at injured Farragut player after blowing his whistle, when they play ball to a player who was 3 yards offside. AR was not in position to make call because he too was looking at the Farragut player laying on the field. Player goes in unchallenged and beats Hendersonvilles goalie. Play should have been called back due to injured player but the offsides was also so obvious. Referee allowed goal. Cheap goal. Unfortunately, this should have probably been the final game on Saturday.

His name is Zach Gutzman and he is just a sophomore. He is very talented and has played tremendously throughout the season especially the post season.
