if anything was classless during the game it was Dyersburg's dugout...that shaking chairs and softball yelling may work in west tennessee but in big games with good teams it only motivates players... Im pretty sure it motivated #28 and it showed!

I don't think i saw you out there trying to pull the tarp did I? Bacculauate is a big deal for lipscomb, asking students and parents to miss an event like that would not be an option. Lipscomb can't get lights period. How about Jackson South Side miss graduation and play the game? No way that would happen! Bottom line is Lipscomb gave all South Side could handle and more. Why are you sorry about our pitcher? I spoke to him today and he said he was not even sore and will be ready to throw this week.

With all due respect, none of this means squat. Who pitched most of these games wont be the pitching matchups in the state. Its a whole new season starting Tuesday. Thats what makes it so great!!!!

suggestion to the Jackson/Lexington administration, either win your Region or schedule graduation on Sat morning. The TSSAA has had this Friday date for years. You know you're coming to Nashville if you dont win the region. Same thing will happen next yr. The thunderstorm that came through Friday around noon suddenly rose and wasnt on radar until it was too late. Most of Lipscomb's team was in Bacculauate Service and wasnt able to get there until the rain started. Regardless, it all worked out and the teams played today. If anyone was hurt by the delay it will be Lipscomb who will lose a pitcher until Thursday if they are still playing.

Someone needs to tell them that 2 of their top 6 in AA got beat tonight!

District 10AA has nothing to feel down about. Both Page and Spring Hill are two very good teams, Either game could have gone the other way. Page left some plays out there they could have made and you cant do that vs Lipscomb the way they can hit the baseball. SH & Ezell was just a pitchers duel. Great game by both pitchers.

DL, I understand the rivalry between Riverdale and Oakland. And I respect the rise in the level of the Riverdale program now where it is on par, at least, with any in the state. However I said "the last ten years". The 1999 Oakland team was the best Ive seen in Tennessee in many years. They had at least 8 players drafted off that team. About 10 went on to play college ball off that team alone, close to all signed by D1 schools, like Miss St, Vandy, Tennessee, MTSU, Ga. Tech. Kids who couldnt start for that high school team went on to college to start. Amazing! They backed it up again with another state championship the next season and another group went on to play college ball in years immediately following the back to back state championships. Oakland has consistently had a top level program although no state championships in recent years. Again, the Riverdale program has come a long way since 1999 and today is among the best around but I'll still say 'over the last 10 years, its Oakland by a landslide"

Over the last 10 yrs, its been Oakland by a landslide. The talent that has run through there has been amazing. For a small private school, Goodpasture has had alot of their players go on to become college players.

I support this plan for another reason. I dont like the "single elimination" games like the first region game and the sub sectional. A team could be 30-0, lose one of those two games 1-0 or 10-9 and lose out to a team that's lost 10+ games. It isnt fair in my opinion. Limbaugh Plan would eliminate these "single elimination" games if I understand correctly.

Few of the private schools can compete with the money of MBA, MUS, Baylor, BA, McCallie, etc. That is why most go to the smaller division.

Seriously? BA has alot of their state championship team back from LY. Lungborg replaces Stallings behind the plate with no problem. They will miss Stalings on the mound but thats about it. Ravenwood lost their two best hitters and their best pitcher. They will be pretty good but I dont put alot into team performances in scrimmages. If BA played Ravenwood a best of 7 series, I'd take BA in 5 or 6. JMO.

Saw them play last week. Wasnt impressed with them at all. They are not a contender in DII. JMO.

BGA is legit this year... The whole Issacs being better than Nave is a joke! Nave throws gas and gets people out...Issacs changed speeds better than Navery but isnt as smart Flavor Nave on the mound. As far as being the all time best BGA pitcher..all i have to say is Matt Ridings....

Do you know anything about lipscomb? The Mustangs have are stacked in pitching... T.J. Hoelzer senior, Ryan Emery senior, Kyle Lehning senior, Jonathon Nance senior, Cody Connely sophomore, Keith Smith sophomore... Goodpasture will be lucky to get out of thier district.... theylost almost 9 seniors. As for MBA...from what i saw they are going to struggle this year. They do not have any good pitchers and do not swing the bat very well....
