I for 1 think it is great Lopez has the chance for more exposure, and i dont believe Carter beating AE for once will destroy AE basketball, if i was a Hornet fan i would be more worried that i could get embarrased by BTW at STATE than reliving the AE win over and over, by the way qbsdad dont pack to heavy, could be a short stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a thread on coacht that suggests going by records of teams if you will look at everyones record in AAA it would post RE against WS, go read the thread, people would scream from now on if that happened, really there is no good way to seed teams, if you go by rankings then it would be left up to the media, that would be a joke, everyone would vote for their community teams and try to make them better than they are, lets just play the tournament, the class A winner will have to win their first game to move on anyway.

Correct me if i am wrong but both of the teams you are talking about are from WEST Tn. so where is the disparity you are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen Carter play 6 times this year, I have not seen BTW but i have a friend from Memphis who came in and i took him to the Carter/Union substate game, he has seen BTW 4 times this year and he said it would be a blowout for BTW, that they were much better than the Hornets. But all that being said, go Hornets.

Fulton has a great shot at a first round win and maybe the championship, Carter got the worst possible matchup they could have got in round 1, BTW should beat them by 20+ but i wish the Falcons and Hornets the best of LUCK and hope they bring it back to E.TN.

If it went by record for seeding, first round in AAA would be Raleigh Egypt vs White Station, so everyone would be griping about that game, so there is no good way, lets just play the TOURNEY.

If Raleigh Egypt and White Station played in round 1, people would take a FIT, like they are doing now with Manassas and Humboldt in class A

I agree somewhat with you, but no matter hows you seed teams or draw, somebody is not going to be happy, every team gos to the BORO planning on winning 3 games anyway, so lets just play it out i cant wait to see Manassass and Humboldt play , we are getting a treat, they play first and winner will WIN State.

This should be one of the better games in AA in the tournament, have seen both play bolivar probaly matches up a little better, both teams will be pretty sore when this one is over.

Next year Union will return their 2sophomore posts players who will probaly grow to 6'5 or 6'6 each and they return 2 junior guards that will probaly be 6'3 or 6'4 in. if that happens i believe with their quickness they can play with everyone from Knoxville, the Muncey kid will be hard to replace but they have some talented youngsters coming up it will be interesting.

Well now that Union Co. has Beat Johnson Co. And Unicoi Co. back to back maybe they can get a little respect from District 1, all i have read on coacht for 2 weeks is JC and Unicoi would be playing for Region 1 Championship!!!!!

You are halfway right about whos fault it was but Union County deserves some credit they took Johnson County completely out of their game by shutting them down inside, i think the Union County defense deserves some credit for the game and i believe Johnson County got off the BUS thinking they just had to show up, i talked to a couple of people from Johnson Co. before the game all they were worried about was playing Unicoi on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!

I went up and watched Union and Johnson County and was not all that impressed with Johnson County did they have a bad game or was Union Co. that much better , they pretty much controlled the Longhorns.
