  1. I am new to coaching girls soccer in this area and cannot seem to find any mid-season tournaments for the girls like there are for the boys. Does anyone in middle TN put one on? I know that there are several for the boys in the spring in Columbia/Pulaski, Nashville, Murfreesboro, etc. I know there are a couple pre-season play days but again I am looking for mid-season (2-3 day tournaments) games.
  2. Why are we talking about WC? Last I checked it's a few different teams this year.
  3. Congrats to WC for pulling out the win, but dont blame the closeness on free throws if you werent at the game. It was amazing and both teams played their hearts out. Santa fe had shots rim out at the end of regulation, 1st OT, and 2nd OT. Those men played their game and were well coached. Let's give them a little credit for playing well and wish luck to WC in the next game. RG6 is gonna be well represented this year.
  4. Yes, Santa Fe has been playing sans starting PG for the last four games. If they can get him back-Look out for a good game and a good run from a balanced team.
  5. 11A this is sad, we need to get on here more often. Myself included. \ Back to brass tax, the district games are back on and SF beat Richland tonight, was anyone at that game? What games do we have on tap in our district?
  6. haha just saw this, NO mention of SF at all! thats messed up
  7. what are you all thinking of 11A this year? And dont all jump on the 12A dominance bandwagon, just who do you all think at this point makes it to region in both 11 and 12A?
  8. They got beat by more than the score indicated as well, garbage points at the end to make it close. Either way these are both great teams. Summertown and SF havent played in the regular season in a while and quite frankly most of the 12A teams are overlooking teams this year. SF is a good team and I am dissapointed that you would scoff at this win and dismiss it to loss of talent.
  9. WOOOOOOO! tournament time. This is when talk becomes cheap and action takes it's rightful place. So, here is a breakdown of SF to the guy who was asking: they do not have a 6'5 behemoth. He is honestly about 6'7 and 285. so I would say beast over behemoth. defensively they are SOLID, they run all types of D and I can't say what they are going to run against PC because they are just going to surprise you, thats SF coach's specialty. He honestly works harder than any coach in 11A and I can guarantee those boys are prepared. DO NOT focus on the beast, thats like focusing on the yankees pinstripes and derek jeter knocking one through your legs. SF will methodically cut down and wear away at you like a parasite. They are balanced and deep, so foul trouble will be no issue. They have battled injuries all year and played multiple offenses. Your best defense is just to man up and put a hand in the shooters faces and pray they are not hot. (this team has three 40+ percent 3point shoooters, and its strange but they all shoot the same amount of shots each game and there has not been a SINGLE game this season when they more than 1 of the 3 hit his average) so if they are hot, good luck. I am not being biased I am being very real here, I think its scary if they all click (and after an upset maybe they got a gut check) Best advise to PC. get a level head, play like a #2 seed not a cocky #1. Stay on youre feet, stay in front of the shooters, put the most physical guy on the beast. (get him angry) SF will force you to play their game, you have to beat them at it. thanks for the respect VC, I hope it is a good game and both team play well. The winner of this game will move on
  10. First of all, cullypride I give credit to the whole of district 11A, I am the one sticking up for ALL of us, here is a quote for you "We all want peace. Unfortunately, there are times when peace must be defended by fighting terror and tyranny." James H. Douglas I dont just sit here and say the SF is the greatest and talk trash like most people, I simply remind everyone that there is hope and that 12A is not God Almighty like they think. For the record, maybe you should act a little like your name suggests and not like a washed up alumnus of Culleoka... rainin3s13, thanks for caring about SF! You should care about reading and look at what I say in my posts. I dont boldly say that Santa Fe is going to go to regions and I dont go out and say we are going to win district, all I do is say that 11A will not be shut out in the region tourny. And if they are, it happens, but for now I am going to continue to advocate the thought that 12A just has some inflated ego's. None of their coaches want you two mumbling fools to get on here and talk all this trash, so stop.. As always, I believe that words are nothing without actions to follow them. -Santafebaby
  11. I am sorry for this flame. GET OUT OF OUR MESSAGE BOARD! Go back to your 12A one and shut up. I dont care if your kids are at blah blah blah high school and what you think about 11A. If I want to talk to you I will message you or go the the 12A board. I dont know how many times we have to say that we will see what happens when the tournaments come around. I am tired of you crushing people's dreams. We live in America...everyone cheers for the underdog at some point, so I hope so people cheer for 11A come regions. Stop talking about your district because talk is cheap..way to set an example to the kids at your school.
  12. The district is not locked up like everyone says... top 2 to 3 teams could battle all year long. Seemed pretty evident in the SF vs. MTP game which was very competitive for 4 quarters. free throws at the end made it a 10 point victory, but fans could definately see the looks on those MTP players and coaches faces when it was tied so late in the game. As for the district, now is the time to gain a little momentum going into the break.
  13. and please do it right, thanks
  14. Will definately be there again this year.I think the lady bears pull it out this time around.
  15. someone has a grudge, but the topic is Culleoka, not middle schoolers
  16. yeah, 2 day tournaments are two dates, can be stupid sometimes, but thats the rule
  17. absolutely right! it was all in good fun, now if you would kindly stop being a fanboy (vandychris) on the 11A thread and go back to the 12A one, that would be appreciated. On a high note, Monkey, Greenwheel, Cornerback, Willie...(the usual crew) here comes the season guys!
  18. Willie, you are absolutely right, that is the same way I feel. They had half a year and a summer to straighten this out, seems like no one tried. What a shame if that boy doesnt get to play, he is talented for sure
  19. How can you say this without seeing anyone play yet? Also, you have to understand that things happen throughout the year. (Hot streaks, Cold spells, injuries, people quit, there is also this thing called grades at school...)
  20. thats interesting to lose you're eligibility for senior year, im supprised and disappointed the AD didnt try a little harder here.
  21. I stopped reading at "as a 12A fan"...just kidding man, but thanks for throwing your thoughts into the mix in the 11A forum! Rivalry is a great thing and 11A and 12A have had a great one for many years. I havent seen Cully this year, but they lost their only playmaker and more than half their offense, so I think it will be a rebuilding year with the new coach, should make for some interesting games though! As for the whole 12A dominating 11A blah blah blah, just like the girls thread, It is a sport...anything can happen
  22. Either way, Adonis is the real deal, and that team should make some noise this year
