  1. Many prayers and thoughts are with them tonight from Putnam County. God will carry you all.
  2. It may be closer if Summertown pitches the young man that pitched against Monterey on opening day of the tournament. He had great movement on his slider. I also heard that he was a sophmore. I am picking Riverside to win. Good Luck to both teams. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  3. What about Friendship and Decatur? Also Summertown and Cascade Final?
  4. I hope that they don't blow his arm. What is his pitch count and how long will they let him go? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  5. Does anyone have any information about Friendship and Decatur?
  6. It looks like Summertown for sure.
  7. I would agree more talent but also let's factor in the size of the schools and the fact that all of the east teams are truly 1a PUBLIC schools is that the west and middle teams fault no but it's harder for a team to compete when you have 200 kids to pick from compared to 500 and the fact that private schools go out and get their players. That's one thing that the tssaa needs to look into moving private schools out of the same division as public schools but that'll never happen because the people in charge of that stuff have kids that go to these private schools and they love to see their own kids winning state championships year in and year out. Also one word for ya.... MONEY /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> but best of luck to the rest of the teams. I wonder what would be the outcome if they did seperate public and private and divide them by region? I am sure that there enough private schools to compete. You are correct, it is difficult to compete with teams that go and recruit even from neighboring states. They take a 4A player from Georgia and move them to a school like Lookout Valley and it is legal I guess. I am sure that other private schools do the same yet when a player moves from one public school to another in a county, TSSAA watches that very closely. Never the less, Good Luck to those that remain. May you all have fun and love the game. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  8. Is there going to be a week long pass available for the games or will it be day by day?
  9. You are right each team is equal at the start. For those who doubt Coalfield, Monterey, or any other public school, just wait and see. Never should anyone underestimate the opponent. Those who do, usually get surprised to say the least. /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" /> I am saying that each team is determined to do their best whether it is their first time or not. No one should count their chickens before they hatch. Good Luck to all the teams going. Best Wishes to the Wildcats! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  10. These young men came determined to play and to win. I am glad to see them get the shot they deserve. Go Wildcats! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  11. CONGRATS TO THE WILDCATS!!! Good Luck at the Boro. You earned it. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Monterey 6 Friendship Christian 7.
  13. Prayers from Monterey. Please post updates on his recovery.
  14. MONTEREY 8 TROUSDALE 7 IN 8 INNINGS. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> GO WILDCATS!!!
  15. So who came out the winners in Districts 6A and 5A? Any idea of who they will play in the next round? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  16. Some of the best food to be found at any ballpark. Does anyone have any information on Oakdale or Watertown? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  17. Option 86 you are soooo right. It would have been nice to see a game between the two just to see. There will be those who will always think that Single A can't compete on their level that are very wrong. These young ladies worked day after day to get where they are now. They hold the GOLD BALL and that says volumes. They did not squeak by teams but won convincingly each time. I am PROUD TO BE A BUFFALO FAN. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  18. Have your doubts if you wish. I believe there are a couple of the girls going to a D-1 school. I also think that there are a couple of these young ladies that play AAU, one for TEAM PRIDE.
  19. CONGRATS TO THE LADY BUFFALOES FOR ACHEIVING THEIR GOAL. THEY WERE CONSISTANT ALL YEAR AND THEIR HARD WORK PAYED OFF. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> For those who choose to be negative or make excuses why they should not be first SHAME ON YOU. I am looking forward to another exciting season next year. I also want to say that I think that they could have WON on any level not just Single A. GREAT JOB!!!! PROUD TO BE A BUFFALO FAN!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  20. I expect it to be a hard fought, physical game. This tournament has been that way. The fans of CR believe in their team. I am sure Coach Rogers has instilled in them never to assume anything, but that they should play the game to the best of their ability. They believe in each other and have great chemisty. They will execute their game and adjust when necessary. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  21. Clarkrange executes a great defense and I expect they will do so tomorrow. I know that anything can happen, but experience says that CR will win and big. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  22. Green did a great job. Hopefully KC and her coach/mom learned a lesson. " It is better to be seen than heard." Lady Buffoles executed very well. Looking for the Buffaloes to get that gold ball too. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  23. I AM ALL FOR THAT!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  24. Single A --- might want to look at Monterey. They played and beat Livingston Academy in season opener. Just someone to keep an eye on.
  25. It is great to see this team continue on their journey to the gold ball. I am proud to know that when other teams want to discredit their talent, they reply with a great game. They are AWESOME! They bring their best everytime and it shows. GO LADY BUFFALOES!!!! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
