My friend from Oakland called me again today. He said that there must have been 10 coaches being interviewed today. Does anyone know if Brandon Burks applied?
I agree with you and he will have to run it his way. He couldn't run it the way RK ran it. Nobody could.
Heard from a friend who works at Oakand that Aaron Green was at the school today. They said that Bruce Pearl has called giving him a ringing endorsement.
I know a friend of a friend who tells me that the interview process has not even started yet. According to him there are about 25 people applying. I can't think of anyone in this county, other than King, who has won enough to be considered for this job.
Please do not in anyway use Vince Lombardi in any comparsion of Aydelott, Rankin, or Fulmer. Especially Aydleott. As for Riverdale beating Oakland, could happen if the kids overcome the coaching.
Tremendous effort by Blackman. Hibdon adjusted well. The only negative that I saw occured after the game. Outside there were these Riverdale players visibly upset, and this lady (adult) with flaming red hair, goes up to them and yells at them. Then this short little fellow (adult) who kind of looks like a dark haired Barney Rubble follows suit. I don't know if they were Riverdale parents, or Blackman parents. So much for acting like an adult. Any way, Blackman should be congratulated. Good luck Blaze against Cookeville.
Isn't Cedric a former Riverdale player?? What about Tate? Cookeville you say? Nobody better tell Hibdon about this.....oh wait, didn't he play for Oakland until his senior year? What hypocrisy.
I am a Riverdale fan, but I truly respect coach King. This guy has forgotten more basketball than anyone in this county. Just because he hasn't won a state championship doesn't take away from his coaching ability.
Just exactly does that mean? In fact I think you will find Allen played 2 years ago? Why is that all Siegel fans have to always beat their chests to be recognized? Just be happy with your Girls Soccer State Championship.
I don't know when you started keeping up with basketball, but do the names Carter, King, Maxwell, Allen, Hardin, Watson, and Hughes ring a bell? Now that is more than one hand, unless you are from Woodbury....joking.
