  1. Clownshoes & all other MC haters, I'll be waiting on your comments.
  2. Blah blah blah!!! Everybody know so much about Marshall County, but probably have only saw them play once if that. Marshall County didn't choke in the District championship game either. Unfortunately Spring Hill is a very good team as most of you will see tonight. Nebutyn, I don't know what you've got against Marshall County, but everything you said holds true for CW as well. You didn't have anything negative to say about CW. Have you looked at CW's schedule, I'd probably say it was easier than Marshall's. For Marshall to be the underdog, you wouldn't expect so much hate. Besides do you know any great player that doesn't have a name on the AAU circuit? Kedren is a stud, but he does have other players as I've witnessed all year. Keep an eye on #2 Jamie Perryman,#5 Kevin Peterson, #21 Jordan Anderson, #22 Dre Cruther. Good luck Marshall. Save all trash talk for later tonight. Good luck Marshall County!!!!!!!!!!
  3. dude4real, I'm not on here to talk crazy or bash anyone, but I'm going to assume you're a young immature little boy for using the word retard. Seriously, how many mature adults even have retard in their vocabulary. Don't have any issues with you, but my advice to you would be grow up and stay in a child's place. With that said, Go Marshall County!!!!
  4. I really don't know a lot about Creek Wood, but I've heard a little bit. This game is hard to call because MC hasn't played CW and vice versa. Everyone always try to go by other teams margin of victory. For example, if CW beat Giles by 21, and MC beat Giles by 12, then CW should beat MC. Well, Giles knows MC very well, so when you play teams you know it's a lot easier to prepare. This game could come down to free throws or turnovers. Hopefully the refs will call a good game. Both teams have worked hard and deserve to win the game on their own and not with the refs help. All I know is that this should be a great ballgame. Both teams need to be on their game. Cw from what I heard played a good game Saturday. MC didn't play very well Saturday, don't know if it was the week off or just looking past Waverly. If MC is on their game they're a really tough team to beat, so hopefully they'll be on their game tomorrow night. They'll probably be the underdog so that should help motivate them. Shouts out to Kedren, Jamie, Jordan, Dre, Kevin, Brock, Dillon, Barry, and the whole MC Tiger crew. Go Marshall County Tigers!!!!!!

  6. Papatiger, alot of times teams play down to the competition. You saw Marshall County play how many times this year? Vogel didn't have a good game because Jamie Perryman shut him down. You talking about Vogel having a bad night, but do you really think Marshall was on their game? Jamie was off all night and can easily put up 20-30 a night. Kedren doesn't have to score for Marshall to be good, but he does have to be on the floor because he makes everyone else better. No doubt in my mind that if Marshall plays like they did Saturday night, Creek Wood or any team for that matter will beat them. With that said, I don't think they will play as sloppy as they did Saturday. Sometimes it's just hard to get up for a game when your a big favorite. Creek Wood has the better record and all the hype to go with it, so Marshall shouldn't have any problems getting up for this one. That's all I gotta say about that. No need to talk, the game is Tuesday night 6:00pm @ East Hickman hope to see you there. Go Marshall County Tigers!!!!!!!
  7. Clownshoes your a joke! Hope ur at the game tuesday night when CW faces off with that pebble in the road Marshall Co. Don't let your mouth write a check your butt can't cash. Don't think because you beat Giles by 21, your automatically in the state tournament. First of all, you played at home. 2) Giles like all other 12AA teams had a week off. 3) CW played 12AA's 4th place team. So don't go running your mouth just yet. Besides, look at CW's schedule. Are you kidding me? Marshall Co. doesn't have the toughest, but dang CW has a single A schedule. I will guarantee you that Marshall and Spring Hill is each other's own worst enemy, not CW. Regardless if CW beats Marshall or not, our toughest challenge will be beating Spring Hill. Like I previously said, Region 6AA runs through Marshall Co. or Spring Hill. Guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Waverly played stall ball most of the game, so don't let the score fool you. Waverly is a better team than their record reflects though. The only reason it was close is because Waverly hit quite a few shots you'd only see in a game of horse. Like I said in my previous post, Harpeth wouldn't be a problem for Spring Hill. To all the Harpeth fans that thought that 1 point SH win earlier in the season was the real thing, I told you. Doesn't really matter who does what at this point, 12AA is better than 11AA. I will guarantee that if Creek Wood gets past Marshall, they will not get past Spring Hill. Marshall Co. by the way is not a one man team. I've seen them play all year and if Kedren gets in foul trouble or just not clicking, players step up. Kedren is the best player on the team and probably would be for most teams. We have 2 main scorers but anybody on MC can play ball. Most people think its all about who scores da most points. It's also about keeping the other teams best player on lock, and we have players that can do that. CW if your game plan is to just stop Kedren, you're gonna be in for a long night. Maybe Creek Wood won't play stall ball and let us play. Good luck Marshall Co., Spring Hill, and Page. Yeeeeeaaaaah, O lets do it!!!!!!!
  9. DoctorZ, I didn't say that you couldn't make the state tournament or even win games by not being as athletic as some teams. I'll take a Bolivar or Liberty Tech over David Lipscomb any day. By the way DL got lucky last year when Kedren fouled out for Marshall County and DL made their run in the 4th. If that hadn't happenned DL would have went to Bolivar instead of Marshall. Wonder how far those fundamentals would have help in Bolivar and if DL would've made it to the Boro?
  10. Ksgovols I don't really care much for sun drop. However, I did see one christmas tournament like 2 months ago. So I'd probably say my prediction on Harpeth would be more accurate, than you going back a few years ago. I'm sure a few years ago there's team that would've beat Marshall County, that probably couldn't beat them today. Your point with the defense, and fundamentals was true. I'd already stated that though. Fundamentals are great for any sport, but you've gotta have athletes. I don't know who will end up end the Boro, but I can guarantee you that 99.9% of the teams that get there will be more athletic than fundamentally sound. You can't teach athleticism, but you can teach fundamentals. I think Spring Hill could play with anybody in the state, and I don't think Harpeth could. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't!
  11. Dadtimesfive I don't think Giles has played Creekwood this year. They did however play Whites Creek in a Christmas tournament @ Overton High School and lost by quite a bit. I haven't saw Creekwood play, but if Giles come to play it could get interesting. Spring Hill did barely beat Harpeth in a Christmas tournament, but I was there and believe me. That wasn't the real SH. That's probably the worst I've seen SH play all year. IMO, SH is @ least 20 pts better than Harpeth. From what I saw from Harpeth, if they were in 12AA they'd definitely be fighting for last place. Harpeth has no athletes. In order to compete with Marshall County, Spring Hill, and even Giles Co., your gonna have to be athletic. I'm a Marshall County fan and not being biased, but I know athletes when I see them. All I have to say to 11AA teams and fans, you better be quick and athletic. If not you better shoot lights out or play perfect defense. I've heard a lot about Creekwood's size. I know a lot of kids that are tall, but not athletic. If Creekwood's boys are tall and athletic than they might have a decent squad. If your 6'4" or 6'5" you should be able to post up, handle the ball, good passing skills, and shoot the 3 ball. If CW boys can't do that, than what's all the hype about?
  12. I've heard that Kedren Johnson got MVP, but that's all.
  13. I'm sure Kedren Johnson will be 12AA MVP, but who else makes the cut?
  14. Regardless how weak a district or region is, that doesn't mean that the top teams in that distict/region are weak. It's not a teams fault what district they're in. Marshall Co. didn't ask to be in 12AA. If you wanna argue then you probably need to contact TSSAA. Last year Bolivar thumped Marshall Co., but i don't know if they could this year. Bolivar is a tough place to play, it doesn't make it any better having to travel for ever to get there. If it comes down to it, we'll see how good all the teams really are. When it's all said and done though, there's always an excuse. The West Ten. teams are suppose to be so much better than everybody else. So if an East or Middle Ten. team beats a West team there will be a legitimate excuse. Regardless what Marshall Co. does, I'm Marshall Co. all the way. Proud of my Tigers no matter what. Certain players have been through a lot, and everything worked itself out. All I have to say is, "GOD IS GOOD". No disrespect to any other teams. If you're a fan, root for your team and good luck. "WE ARE MARSHALL"!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Not really sure, but I think they go by margin of victory. Sh beat Giles by 29, & Giles beat SH by 7 I think. Then SH would win tie breaker. Overall records can sometimes be misleading because some teams play more games than others(like Xmas tourn.). Some teams may play 4 or 6 AAA teams, and another might play 4 or 6 A teams. Not sure about that, but I think overall records are hard to judge. District games are a better measuring stick because everybody plays the same teams. So for a tie breaker I think margin of victory would be better served.
  16. Great game as usual. This was a great tournament type game. Players got a little angry at times with each other, but it's like that during a heated battle. I did notice after the game that players from both sides were shaking hands & talking to each other. The officiating wasn't the greatest, but it's gonna be like that during a fast paced game. Anytime SH & Marshall meet up it's gonna be a championship type atmosphere. Can't wait for round 3. Barring any type of miracle, they will meet again very soon. If both teams play ball, I don't see any reason why they can't play for the district & region championship. GO MARSHALL CO. TIGERS!!!!!
  17. Come to think of it, this is about 11AA & 12AA. So I don't wanna hear about how good Liberty & Bolivar is. Speaking of moral victories, I don't think beating AAA schools is that big of a deal when you were just a AAA school last year yourself. Liberty is just a AAA school playing in AA. People always talk about how West Tennessee ball is so much better than everybody else. Lol! Guess Knox Fulton didn't get that memo last year, huh? Just remember this, any team can be beat any night. Regardless how many top ranked teams you've beaten. How many people really thought Tennessee would beat Kansas? Uh, probably not very many. In closing I would like to say if you want to talk about how good Liberty is, I'd recommend you starting your own post. "LIBERTY IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE", that should help you get started. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. As far as Marshall having a good player on an average team, that's bogus. Jamie Perryman & Kevin Peterson could probably start @ any school in the state. The loss to Tullahoma was early in the season & no one was completely healthy at the time. I also heard that Marshall scrimmaged against CW & won by double digits. That scrimmage was also w/out Kedren & Jamie I might add. Don't know who CW had missing though. Talk is cheap & the fans don't play the game so like I said before, time will tell. Don't hate just wait. I'm out!!!
  19. I'm a Marshall Co. fan and was curious about 11AA since that's who will round out our region 6 AA tournament. Based on recent posts, It seems that Creek Wood is the only team in 11AA. Based on that it's hard to judge a team that really hasn't been tested. I think that when region play starts, alot of Creek Wood fans are gonna be a little shocked when they see the teams from 12AA. Most of the teams in 12AA have been battle tested, and I don't think Creek Wood has been. Time will eventually tell. Creek Wood has a good record, but doesn't have any big wins. I think Marshall Co., and Spring Hill will come out of the region 6 AA tournament 1 and 2. Once again, time will tell and good luck to all. Go Marshall Co. Tigers!!!!!
  20. There is a tournament @ Columbia Central Dec. 21-22. Don't know exactly how many teams are in it. Those that are: Columbia, Marshall Co., MBA, & Madison Co.,AL,etc. Should be pretty entertaining. Don't know the times, but I do know that Marshall Co. Vs MBA is @ 6pm.
  21. Spring Hill and Marshall Co. will be fighting for that district title. However, based on district play so far you would have to give Spring Hill the edge. SH blew Giles Co. out by 29. Marshall barely beat Giles by like 2 or 3. You can't always go by who beats who by what, but until SH-Marshall showdown that's all you can base it on. SH is probably playing better team ball right now. I personally haven't saw SH play this year, just going off scores within district play. What do you guys think?
  22. Marshall Co. has a great group of athletes, but hasn't quiet peaked yet. Kedren Johnson(super talent) can do it all on the court. Jamie Perryman(superb athlete) is a lightning quick guard that can drive to the hole or light up the 3. Dillon Stinnett is a good 3 ball shooter and has a little length. Jordan Anderson(toughness) has good size inside with a little football toughness. Dre Crutcher has good size and a good body, plays inside but can knock down the 3 ball. Kevin Peterson(freshman phenom) is going to be a great one by the time he's done. Can do it all, but is still a freshman. With that said, all they need to do is put it all together before tournament time. If so, look out because we'll be headed to the Boro. Go Tigers!!!

    9AA

District 9AA is pretty good, but I think a little over confident coming up on Region 5 play. I'm a Marshall County fan & know that David Lipscomb beat us a while back. I guarantee you that If they meet up again it would be different. I honestly think Marshall County, Spring Hill, and Page can play with anybody in the state not just the Region. Can't wait to see how 9AA stacks up to 10AA in Region 5 tourns. All of 9AA thinks DL & CPA are locks at 1 & 2 coming out of Region 5. Should be interesting. Just remember I told you so & 10AA will get some R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!!!
