  1. Make Those Shots I will respectfully give a few of my opinions of the h.s. basketball I have seen this year in northeast TN. I will not target a particular team. It doesn't really matter what I think anyway. and I am the first to admit that. Just like you I have opinions. I always try and be respectful with my opinions. Sometimes I run into a dimwit and I get off track. That might happen to some of you at times. The team that shoots the best usually wins. That is not rocket science which I am not capable of. I played against Duke five times and UNC won each game. Way back then we were probably the better shooting team. It never hurts to have Billy Cunningham on your side. At times a team that excels at other phases of the game rather than shooting the ball well can win state championships. To me a good example of that was when Science Hill won three state championships under the great coach George Pitts. They played super intense and outstanding defense. If you couldn't take care of the ball they were converting a lay-up. Quickness is a great asset and they were quick. In my opinion those teams were not great shooting teams but they rang the bell which is all that matters. I have lately seen h.s. teams win that in my opinion won because they shot the ball a little better than their opponent. After all that is all it takes. They were a little better than average shooters, whatever that means. I have certainly not seen a great shooting team or for that matter a great shooter.I hope he is out there because I wish young people well. In 1962 and 1963, ancient history I know, I led the nation in h.s. scoring. There were 300,000 senior boys playing basketball at that time. A panel of sportswriters told me that I was voted the national player of the year. I definitely did not deserve that and I later threw away the trophy I received for that. I was on the Ed Sullivan Show with four other players who were all better than I was. Lew Alcindor was on that program as a 15 year old. Abdul is a friend of mine. He was much better just out of the womb than I was. Unless you are almost 80 like I am you can't imagine the despicable racism prevalent at that time..I never have wanted any credit for something I know I didn't deserve. That is cheating to me. I will get back to shooting a basketball. I could shoot a basketball. It enabled me to receive over 200 Div 1 scholarships. I will take credit for that because all those coaches thought I could help their program. I was a 6 foot 1 inch guy who never dunked the basketball. Dean Smith once told me he could't see daylight under my converse shoes and I mentioned that I believed he was the only guy in Chapel Hill I could outjump because he was wearing dress shoes. I feel fortunate because I know Coach Smith liked me. I was quick and highly conditioned and so I could get my shot off whenever I wanted to within the offense we were running. I always tried my best to do what Coach Smith instructed me to do. Coach Mears at UT really recruited me. He extended a visit to 10 players from around the country to attend a weekend in Knoxville. It was the same weekend I was to be on the Ed Sullivan Show. Looking back I would have enjoyed being greeted by one of those hot TN.. cheerleaders. Kinda wish I had gone to UT. What does a 17 year old know. Coach Mears sent his top recruiter Tommy Bartlett to see me play against Clearwater High School who had three players who ended up playing Div1 basketball. One of those players was a 7footer.I scored 55 points (with the three point shot in play it would have been around 100) and only missed three shots all game . That is shooting the basketball. Coach Bartlett came back to Knoxville and told Coach Mears that he had just witnessed the best performance from a high school player he had ever seen. We easily won that game and I was proud of that performance. I went back the next day and shot 8 hours. That was long before the Earnie and Bernie show for whom I would have gladly carried their luggage. That same year,1963, I made 57 foul shots in a row in game competition.. A national record at that time. Most high school players don't practice long enough and hard enough to be really good shooters. Just my opinion. That is enough of this bullsh--.
  2. High School Regional Tourn. at Science Hill I really enjoyed watching this tourn. DB played hard against S. Hill and got worn down late in the game. S. Hill was better than DB this year and won all three games against them. The last two times they played were well contested games. Sevier Cty. was better than M. West and advanced to the championship game. I have played in , coached and watched hundreds of h.s. basketball games. The championship game between Sevier County and Science Hill was very probably the best h.s. game I have ever seen. That is saying a lot. I didn't say the two best teams I have seen, I said the best game. The game was decided late in the second overtime. Each team had leads and either team could have won the game. Just what you want in a championship game. I have gotten to know LJ Ruiz a little bit. He is S. Hills best player. He is a great young man. He transferred to S. Hill this year. He is from St. Petersburg, FL., my hometown. I think he was voted the outstanding player in the conference this past season. Without LJ, Science Hill isn't close to being the team they are now. At the end of the first overtime period, with less than half a second on the clock, LJ got fouled shooting a three point shot. If he misses one foul shot-game over. I could see LJ visually hard focus on the rim. He executed the shots perfectly with great rotation and he made all three free throws to send the game into the second overtime. Science Hill won and stays home to play Maryville. What an incredible game that was. High school players competing as hard as they can so that their team will be successful. Credit to all four teams who played in the regional.
  3. Pucker Up, Butter Cup I will post again. My playing and coaching record can speak for themselves. Many have done better but you are not one of them. In the past I have encouraged you to compare and contrast your record with mine and you have never responded.I wonder why. It is obvious why because you are a loser. While I was practicing eight hours a day you were somewhere playing with yourself and the results are vastly different. You are a self righteous and judgmental person who has a case of "itchy butt" syndrome. Help is available but you need to follow the directions. You have "itchy butt" and it overwhelms your small brain. There is evidence for this in the picture you submitted for all to see. It must be a really bad case. You need to calm that irritated tissue down so that you are not constantly agitated in your life. You are like a monkey in the zoo, constantly scratching himself. Do yourself a favor and purchase a suppository. Make sure and follow the instructions because there is no doubt in my mind that your natural inclination will be to leave your finger in there all night long. Please follow the directions given on how to insert the suppository for your own sake. An emergency medical crew coming to your house with the lights flashing should be embarrassing to most people. In your case you are probably experienced in it.Think it out ahead of time so you can come up with a reasonable explanation for your impulsive behavior that your wife might believe. Please follow the directions given on how to insert the suppository for your own sake Calm it all down. I want you to do your best to be critical of me and not direct your frustrations on degrading DB athletes. " show me what you've got." The following is a mini-novel that you should be able to read: You are certified Dumber Than A Coal Bucket.
  4. the hill 23 No one is fixated on you or your ugly butt because no one cares what you think or what you are tired of. As usual you are in a negative funk. Anus, butt, brain are all the same in your case-poor quality. Butt brain, there is no excuse for you because now I think you are saying your wife took that vulgar picture. I feel sorry for your wife. Your new nickname is " Pucker Up, Butter Cup". Stop Berating DB Players and Insulting Their Parents.
  5. WaCo I see where the hill 23 put a picture of his anus on display for everyone to see. It would be nice if he considered other people before making such a vulgar show of himself. He is continually making an a-- of himself. As everyone already knows he accomplished nothing as an athlete. His thing is being critical of others and insulting to DB parents. Maybe he should receive a slight amount of credit for his flexibility. I do hope he tells us exactly the way he bent over to get the camera at just the right position for his " pucker up " shot. He seems desperate for recognition but I am guessing he wins no awards for this vulgar picture. It looks like an advanced and inflamed case of hemorrhoids to me. Poor Guy!!!
  6. noonesfool I appreciate that you expressed approval for some of my thoughts. In that case I will share some more. It has been said that great minds think alike. The only problem in my case is that no one has accused me of having a great mind. We have both spent many years as educators. We have both enjoyed watching young people compete in many venues. It is truly irrelevant to me if a young person happens to be a good basketball player. In my case I received way too much attention for what I achieved on the basketball court. I think that it is very important to do your very best at whatever you are involved with. Just always do your very best. You and those in your life will be better off for having done so. You should especially do your best at all times in the classroom. It is nice to recognize and give respect to those who are good at what they do. They probably worked hard to be good. When I coached at John Sevier from the beginning my players were required to wear ties (red clip-on ties I bought for them ). They were required to wear them all day long for every game we played. They did not want me to catch them without their tie on. No tie on- no play. It didn't take them long to develop great pride in wearing that tie. I also required them to set examples in the classroom because I knew their peers looked up to them. Class disrupter-no play!. I really enjoyed teaching and coaching at John Sevier Middle School. As far as I am concerned I would rather be thought of by my friends as a good person than the decent player/coach I was. Since you enjoyed watching "the big red head" play basketball I will comment briefly on a few of my experiences with him. Dave Cowens and I are friends from way back. When he was a freshman at FSU he was a certified brick layer. He had received 5 college offers. I worked Dave's basketball camps several years during the summer. What he accomplished is known to you. I used to kid Dave that the only way he made those shots in the Boston Garden was because Coach Auerbach loosened the bolts on the basket. The ball went clang, clang etc. The reason I kidded Dave is because we are/were close friends. He could have easily torn my head off. I have many great memories of my younger days. Knowing Dave and spending a lot of time with him are part of those good times..Dave was one of the greatest competitors in any sport. He gave it all he had every second he competed. All the Best
  7. WaCo One other note and it is not rocket science. I could really shoot a basketball and it offered me many opportunities to compete. The teams who shoot the ball best tonight will win.Duh Go DB,shoot the ball well.
  8. WaCo DB and Coach Poore won a state championship just a couple of years ago. I saw that team play a few games and they were amazing. They were unselfish, could all pass and handle the ball, and they were all good shooters. They were good shooters because they were aware of their abilities and had real good shot selection. That doesn't just happen by coincidence. An outstanding example of what hard work, being unselfish, and competitive drive can accomplish. There was not a Div. 1 player on that team and that makes it more special to me. Way to go DB. Coach Poore did an outstanding job leading and coaching those young men. WaCo, as you know so well, that basketball is a team sport. The sum is greater than the parts. The other state championship was in 1945,the year I was born, led by the great athlete, Cecil Puckett. I loved that guy. In the interim between those state championships I thought DB possibly had the basketball talent coming to its program to win another state championship. Certain critical players didn't play or transferred to other programs You mentioned JaMichael but Shane Carnes didn't play his senior year at DB. They both played at Oak Hill and that was their decision. In that case there was coaching problems at DB. I coached Shane Pierson, JaMichael Mills, Shane Carnes, Latwan Wolfe, and Roxy Lyons at Sevier when they played on an undefeated 8th grade team. In my opinion they were the most talented basketball players I have seen in this area since I have been here. More talented than any group Science Hill had but that is only my opinion. They didn't all play together at DB for various reasons for the duration of their high school careers. DB has a rich winning history in its athletic programs. It is a terrific accomplishment to win a state championship in any sport. It is not easily done. Andy Hubbard, who I coached at Sevier when he played baseball, led the girls DB softball team to a state championship last year. Great job, Andy. Andy and his brother Tony are as good as they come as human beings. As a parent that would matter to me. I was on two state championship teams when I was in high school. They were not in basketball. I will always cherish great memories of that. No one can take your accomplishments away from you. Because of some recent defeats some might think that DB hasn't improved during the season since they won most of their games early in the schedule..I don't agree with that but I haven't seen enough games to be a good judge. I would guess that what happened beginning with the trip to FL. is that DB played a few better teams than they had encountered early in the season. As I believe what Yogi used to say, "The fat lady hasn"t sung yet". We shall see what happens. You may be aware that Dave Hoover, a friend of mine. is writing a history of DB basketball. He will do a great job. The book is supposed to be available next year. DB has had a number of outstanding basketball players. Some have gone on to accomplish great things in college. You mentioned Skip Brown. A two time All American at Wake Forest. He played before I arrived in Kpt. so I didn't get to enjoy his many skills. I played against Robert Leonard when he was a senior at Wake Forest. I was in my second year at UNC. He was a great player. I got to play some one on one against his brother,Charlie, when I was at FSU. Charlie was working on his PhD.I heard he was as good or better than Robert. I know he was also a great baseball player. Bruce Tranbarger, who I coached at Sevier, as you know played at Ole Miss. I believe he is still the all time leading scorer at DB. Bruce came from a great family and I knew them well. Bruce was a top shelf player and person. His dad was a great athlete at ETSU and his mother was an outstanding golfer. I don't know if you are aware of the fact that Shane Carnes is a cousin of Skip Brown.Shane started at UT his freshman year. He was an outstanding basketball player. He was very gifted at all aspects of the game.Shane was one of the best I was lucky enough to coach. I would like to pay a grateful tribute to all the wonderful players I enjoyed coaching. With the talented players I had no wonder Sevier won 93 percent of its games for the 15 years I was there.I understand it was middle school but I am not aware of any team in TN. with a better record than that. There might be better records than that and I would be happy for those teams. I only know what we did at Sevier. We had three undefeated teams. Sevier lost to Johnson City, who had a consolidated middle school named Liberty Bell, twice in 15 years. Those same players from Johnson City won three state championships under George Pitts, a great coach. I played for three college hall of fame coaches. Coach Pitts was and is as good a coach as I have seen.Keep on winning , George. I have been very fortunate in life and there is not a jealous bone in my body. I did love to compete and I am grateful that I had the health and ability to do so. I wish all people well. Whose Your Daddy! WaCo, you take it from here because you are much better at this than I am. I enjoy stirring it up once in a while . When someone criticizes me I will respond in my own way. I worked very hard in the various jobs I had over my working career. I respect people who work hard and contribute to others. I have been wrong soooo long but I will be right tonight. All the best to you.
  9. WaCoJaCo (Sir) As usual you made very thoughtful statements. I am very tired but I will try and respond to you since you are WaCo. Playing good competition in my opinion is always a positive. DB is a larger school in this area and generally has more athletic talent than most of the schools they play. If you are one of the top dogs in this area playing a schedule full of inferior teams is only good if your intentions are to pad the win column. The players and team need a good fair perspective as to how good they are.Like most things in life balance is important. As you said there is no upside to getting beat by a lot of points, especially if it occurs on a regular basis. A few lopsided losses should not be undoing to a team if it is handled well. You can always learn from setbacks if you allow yourself to do so. We all come up short many times in life. The winners get up and come back stronger than before. Confidence can be a fragile thing in life and in sports. You have to earn your own confidence by hard work. All teams will not be successful in the win column. In my opinion you only come up short if you quit trying. High school sports offers great opportunities to do this. The SEC presently is a conference in all sports from top to bottom that is fiercely competitive. It is a great example of competition. Dave Cowens, a Boston Celtic legend and a MVP in the NBA , was and is a highly competitive person. I knew Dave when I played basketball at FSU. He roomed next to me.. He would fight a Rhino on meth. Dave used to say to his opponent, "show me what you got'. When the smoke clears at the end of the season the fans, even if not vocal, judge a team and a coach by their won-lost record. The more wins for a coach the less heat directed toward that coach. This is probably more true for teams with a history of winning. There are many people who know very little about basketball who can be very negative and fickle toward a coach. Maybe their son didn't play much and become the player daddy thought he would be. He had a case full of trophies from pee wee basketball so it must be the coaches fault. The significant descriptive word here is "pee". cont. later
  10. Rebelyell 10 I hope that you are having a good evening and that all is well with you. At one time we might have been slight antagonists but now I hope we are Coach T friends. See what nice thoughts and a little TN. whiskey can accomplish. In a recent post I offered a plan for practice. The cheerleaders were included in my planning. My thoughts ran along the lines that the more adolescent boys are exposed to the sights of the world it is possible they will become less distracted. It is possible but not probable. You know it is important to concentrate in shooting a basketball. It is that time of year in high school and college basketball to "put up or shut up". If you are not the lead dog the scenery never changes. The potlickers are destined to go home. Please comment on my practice plan. When I grew up in FLA. I lived near the Gulf and I spent all the time I could at St. Pete beach. There were wonderful and incredible things to be seen. That is why I am slightly cross eyed still today. During this current generation I wouldn't have managed well because all the dear hearts are in thongs. The last time I was down there and driving near the beach I almost crashed into a palm tree. My wife slapped the sh-- out of me. Despite all the distractions I was presented with I could still concentrate enough to shoot the basketball and lead the nation in scoring. My girl friend had a nickname "thighs" and she definitely distracted me. It was a miracle that I could even hit the rim. My adolescent mind was on other things. I see where a player, Nijaun Harris, of St. Petersburg High School, my old school, is nominated as one of the top 20 freshman basketball stars in the country I think he is the leading freshman scorer in the nation. If he becomes national player of the year like I did I will go to Ole St. Pete High and congratulate him. I wish him the best. There has always been tremendous athletic competition in the St. Pete, Tampa, and Clearwater area. It is a big population area with many really good athletes. I learned at a really young age that if I wasn't prepared to compete at a high level someone would twist my jock strap around my head. For the information of a few of you dimwits I was wearing a jock-extra large!!! I think it was said that DB wanted to go to Tampa/ St. Pete and experience some good competition. I always wish DB well. They lost by 30 something to a school I never heard of. Please, please tell Chris Poore not to schedule St. Petersburg High School or any big school from the Tampa/ St. Petersburg area. The results would be catastrophic. Competition is one thing but getting your a-- kicked all over the place is another story. Remember that the puddins in the pie. Whose Your Daddy!!!!
  11. Simple Treatise on Shooting a Basketball 1) Keeping your head stable and still is probably the single most important factor in determining the successful outcome of a shot. Head movement causes a loss of focus (everytime ) and that results in poor performance. 2) Breathe correctly- In shooting a foul shot breathe deeply in through your nostrils (this relaxes the brain) and then exhale through your mouth (this relaxes the body) . Do this twice and notice the results I bet that you will not be able to think of anything. That is just the result you want. You haven't clogged the gears between your ears. By doing this eye-hand co-ordination will be maximized. 3) Relaxed muscles function best in eye-hand co-ordination activities. You must reduce tension to the best of your ability. Breathing correctly can help with this. A smooooth motion is always best. Make it smooth as Fireball and the shot will go through the hoop. 4) The brain controls everything: seeing and muscle activity is controlled by the brain. You actually see with your brain. Take care of that wonderful brain of yours. 5) Using your eyes correctly is a skill you need to develop. In shooting a foul shot you should look well beyond the basket initially ( soft focus) and then visually look hard at the front or back of the rim (hard focus ) just as you are delivering the shot. You can only sustain hard focus for maybe a second. 6) Proper technique is critical. Use the same delivery every time you shoot the ball. It is critical that you discipline yourself to do this. That way you will develop brain memory. Remember the brain controls the muscles. You will be more successful if you do this. Use your strong leg muscles (thighs ) to help deliver the shot so it is soft and smooth. I dated a girl in high school who had the nickname "thighs" When I went off to UNC she sent me a dear John letter the first week. It took a while to get over that. In that case distance didn't make her heart grow fonder. 7) Proper finger and hand placement is critical in shooting a basketball to achieve good rotation If you place your fingers correctly you will shoot more consistently.Ask your coach how to do it. I charge $100 a minute. 😎 Follow through ( continue your smooth motion ) is essential in any eye-hand activity. Keep your elbow in and under the ball ( no chicken wings ). End up with what looks like a goose neck. 9) Use visualization in shooting a foul shot so you picture in your brain the ball going through the basket. It is proven to produce good results so why would you not utilize it? Most things we do in life we apply more muscle. In eye-hand activities we need to bear down visually. The hand will go where the eye directs it. You will not be a brick layer if you practice some of these suggestions. Everyone has the ability to become a better shooter. In 1963 I made 57 foul shots in a row in high school game competition. I taught myself and didn't know the best technique. There is always immediate feedback-you either make it or you brick it. Possibly some of you golfers can profit from a point or two. Good luck to all you shooters because the better you shoot the ball the more you will help your team win and the more you will play. After you get real good at it say, "In Your Eye, Sucker." Then at the conclusion of the game when you shot the lights out and the cheerleaders are going crazy over you (You Are A High School Hero ) you need to say "Whose Your Daddy." I hope that I have motivated you!!!!! Best of luck.-work hard.
  12. Rebelyell #1 You need to report those coaches who you said did harsh things to the TSSAA. I can't believe that you haven't already done this. You need to take action. It shouldn't matter if you have any proof of what they did because it is what you heard. I sure hope that I am not on your list. I thought we were buddies with ties to Hawkins County. Making young people run steps on bleachers, especially with heavy weights like two to three pounds, should be reported. That could be referred to as "goat trails" and only goats should be subjected to that. Also, I heard of a coach who demanded that his players wear "horse blinkers" because the cheerleaders were practicing in the same gym. That coach was thought to have had a profound understanding of how easily adolescent boys get distracted. If any of that is actually true those coaches should be restricted to working with "goats" and "horses".You can find plenty of each in Hawkins County. Please identify those coaches and report them. It doesn't matter if they are currently active, half dead like me, or in their grave. You don't seem adverse to gossip or to throwing out a conspiracy theory so it is your solemn duty to identify and report those coaches. You need to be more a part of " the grapevine". Since you grew up in Hawkins County you probably know what I am talking about. With that home schooling background I know that you are a savvy dude. You never want to make the mistake of running your players hard. Please ask Brandon Reed if ole Coach Mo would ever do that. The problem with running "gut busters" and "double and triple gut busters" is that after a short while the snot comes out and gets on the gym floor, some turkey slips and breaks his tail bone, and you end up in court. You know how much we enjoy suing each other. I never wanted to get sued. Here is the game plan for practice. Have cookouts( bring plenty of mustard for the hot dogs), blow bubbles all over the place(this develops wonderful team chemistry), play volleyball, and invite the local sports writers so the players can blow smoke up their rear end about how good they are. Also,it is important to invite the cheerleaders to these events. Yes, basketball can be a fragile game. Coach Mo wasn't as smart or as good as most of the local coaches. He thinks that if you can;t throw it in the ocean even standing on the seashore you lose. In your eye, sucker! Rebelyell#1, I need a jigger or two (maybe 3) of the good ole Fireball that I enjoy. I wish you the best and you are expected to do your duty. Since you grew up in Hawkins County I luv ya man! That changes everything for me.
  13. Rebelyell 10 I want to thank you again for your help with my lacking punctuation skills. I have been practicing so watch me now. You said yep when WaCo asked that when you laugh does milk come out your nose. Is it possible he was only half correct and that besides milk some of that snot contains a good amount of TN. whiskey (hopefully Fireball Cinnamon), my favorite. Smoooooth and not too toxic. If your answer is yes your stock just went sky high with me. I was delighted to hear that you grew up in Hawkins County. From previous comments that is not surprising to me. I love the people from Hawkins Cty. and enjoyed some of the best 5 yrs. of my life coaching at Vol. H.S. I regret that I left but life flows on. I still enjoy some close friends there. When I landed the job at Vol.H.S. the boys' basketball team in 17 yrs. had one team with a winning record. That team had one more win at the end of the season than their losses. The only winning season to that point. It seemed like a daunting assignment. The way the culture changed was that I inherited some really high character young people who weren't afraid to work hard. In five yrs. Vol H.S. won the conference championship 3 times, went to substate twice and I had 8 players who received scholarships to play Div. 2 basketball. We won over 20 games each of my last four yrs. at Vol.H.S. I never experienced a losing season in coaching 30 yrs. Brandon Reed became captain of his team at Tusculum and Roy Richmond was captain at Milligan College. Truly great young people who I have great love and respect for. I was extremely confident in what I was doing and that carried over to the players. They were convinced they could beat anyone they played. Briefly our record over conference teams : Central(15-2) , Happy Vallet(15-1) , Boone(12-8) and North(never lost). I was head coach in name only. My friend Ronnie Housewright coached the team and the players listened to him. By the direction of Ronnie our only game plan was to shoot 3s and to cut backdoor. When Vol. H.S. beat DB Ronnie and I were rolling on the court and making fools of ourselves. Undoubtedly not the best sportsmanship but it was what it was. Hawkins County was truly rocking that night. After that several DB players transferred to Vol. and DB wouldn't play us anymore. I don't blame them. After we crushed North in a home game on the post game radio program I told Cradic, the radio guy, I had to cut out early because it was my wife's birthday. I said I needed to go to Intimate Treasures to get her a gift. Well I ended up in the principals office the next morning. I endured a little heat and I hadn't even had a chance to drink my morning coffee. The principal told me I wouldn't be coaching the next game if it were up to him. I made a comment that it might not be up to him. Tommy Dykes, my favorite Supt. ever, came to my rescue because he loved and supported my unworthy a--. I know your on pins and needles to find out what happened. I coached the next game and every game after that. We went on a torrid winning streak. The lesson in that experience is that winning solves most problems. The young guys continued to kick butt and pass out bubble gum. Also, I have been married 55 yrs. so it all worked out. Don't you think it was nice to bring my wife a nice present. By the way if I remember right that was a heck of a night. Every married person should spice up the deal. You probably know what the "grapevine is" in Hawkins County. They needed a little entertainment and I provided it. Plus we won a he-- of a lot oy games. Rebelyell #1 you can report me to the TSSAA but my coaching days are over.
  14. Rebelyell 10 I am always trying to learn and you make an excellent point. Now you can return to Harvard. I hope that you can afford it. It is with gratitude that someone as stupid as I am can become a multi, multi, multi millionaire in this country. I did not reach that financial level as a result of my teaching school and doing social work. Teaching and then coaching high school sports is a risky job. There are a lot of people who enjoy others failing. When a high school coach loses his or her job there is not a big financial buyout like some college or professional coaches receive. I am thankful I didn't have to worry about it. I am very thankful I don't have to be concerned about money no matter what happens. There are few people in that boat. If you don't mind just answer the simple questions I asked you about yourself. If you have already forgotten the questions please refer to a previous post. Many people are losing their jobs today. I request that you are considerate and thoughtful about discussing another persons job. If you are still working I sincerely hope that you retain your job.If you are not retired and are still working and I tried hard enough I bet I could find out where you work. Maybe you can tell me so I can chat with your boss to see how you are doing. I happen to think highly of Chris Poore because I know him and like him. When I like a person I stand by them. I wouldn't think you have a problem with that. You are not a fickle, fair-weather friend are you? Now boss man please critique this post and help correct my grammar and diction. Since I wished you a good day it is the least you can do for me. Also, please tell me where you work so I don;t have to make the effort of finding out for myself. i .
  15. Rebelyell 10 Good morning and I hope that you have a good day. I admit I forgot to ask young players who played for me if they wanted to work hard, be disciplined and be held accountable. It was something I demanded and they responded in a very positive way. I was very fortunate to coach so many high character young people who came from high character parents. That is why my teams won so much. Good day to you,Rebelyell #1.
