I agree, drove past farragut the other day and the infield was patchy? It wasn't even 50% green. Farragut traditionally has the best ballpark though and is an enjoyable place to watch a game. Catholic and Bearden have one-upped them this year on the surface though i hate to say. Catholic doesnt have the great "baseball environment" as some say, but the green grass and wall do it for me. On the other hand, Anderson county's field has gone down hill drastically-long grass and hard dirt? also heard their mower was broken and had to use parents mowers? could be wrong but would make a little sense. and Gibbs has a great new "stadium" which really is going to look great-they have made big improvements since my nephew played travel ball out there a year ago. And CAK? are you kidding me? dirt cutouts? of course you can see from any seat at the field because they offer 3 convenient 15 foot bleacher sections. What fields can you not see everything from?

What doesnt make sense to me is why the coach was fired in the first place. I hear he was an foothole, well who cares? We aren't playing girls soccer sweetie. This is football. You better grow some balls if you are going to play it. THis is nothing like the Jeff County incident a few years back. He seems like a great defensive coordinator like irish and ruse? said. He knows his players and he is able to line his kids up to stop what is working for the other team.

What does your post have to do with anything? You always bring bearden or farragut back into the mix... CAK does not have that many kids on their team in the first place. They are not an Anderson County, Farragut, or Bearden that has 30 players on varsity. Their school does not generate those types of numbers, like a Catholic or Webb. (Catholic has like 23 players or something ridiculous on varsity and jv my friend told me) So it would have been hard to pull the starters with a low number of players.

This is ridiculous. I can't understand how they can ban prayer. Our money refers to God, the constitution refers to God, the Declaration refers to God, God is what our country is based on. Are these other religions offended by prayer? Because i sure as heck am offended by them taking my prayer away.

I'm SO happy these two get to play, it was well worth the drive when i went to watch these two play. Well, the first time... Hopefully it will be the best game out there and I will stop by. Always exciting. Does anyone know where they will play? I would take the guess at AE but not really sure.

HAHA science hill? Where are they right now? I haven't heard anything about them in YEARS. I am no Catholic supporter, but God, you gotta hand it to the boys. They played some extremely good teams, teams i believe could go up and challenge and play teams in YOUR division. Fulton? AE? Mitchell? White house? Even kingston and AC. All were quality programs. Don't try to pin things on people when you don't know the real situations. And no, the vice superintendents son does not play QB.

Oh and I forgot to mention Walker Valley Academy i think it is? It's a pretty nice field got to watch several ball games there over the summer. Farragut and Catholic are both nice too. And i haven't seen sequatchie. Is it worth the drive?

Don't be fooled... AE is continuously good. No one was going to beat Catholic that night, they were playing lights out football. AE will be back, believe me. I completely agree with the poster and I can say that AE has the most athletes in their district or region. How well they are coached and how well they play together will prove how good they REALLY are.

I agree with Irish. I feel like district 4 will be the toughest in AA. But thats just my opinion.

DB has an AMAZING field.
