Agreed.....4 fumbles lost and our secondary bit hard on a play action pass for a score and the halfback pass on the sweep for another score (give CA credit) I guess it says something to play sloppy and still win by 3 scores over a 10-1 team. CA is a solid team. #20 Ragsdale is the real deal and hurt us a lot tonight. On to the stangs.....let's get it on!

He hasn't had any kind of issue even close to that this year. In fact none of our guys have.

Not sure who you're referring to unless its #53.....and yeah he's a senior this year.....but everybody was pretty ticked when T Rice got hit way out of bounds late with no call. If I was a teammate I'd been a hot-head too.

B/c of our athletic secondary and our pass rush (especially when stunting), I think WC can make CA one-dimensional. If that turns out to be true, question is, can we stay disciplined enough and play assignment football to handle the misdirection. Can't wait to kick it off on the creek bank!

They'll have to make WC punt more than 2-3 times to cause some noise. WCs backs on both sides of the ball have plenty of play-making ability too. WC players know they're up against a formidable foe and I think they're ready to bring it.

I agree with that but whether they blindly vote for him based solely on the numbers or not, they would get it right this time, cause he's the best back in Single A hands down.

Thanks....nice article. Also there's a link on that page for an interview with the CA coach......pretty courageous for him to keep coaching after losing his wife in August. Also interesting fact that he and Coach Rice both played fball at Austin Peay.

I do know that WC coaches are giving CA high praise and theyre not just blowing smoke to motivate their kids. I believe CA is the real deal and WC better come to play after a bye week or it could be trouble. CA is very quick and do a good job running the option out of the gun. They could cause WC some trouble on the perimeter if we dont defend it correctly. I think WC though will control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and this will be the difference in the game. WC 34-21

Well maybe disrespect was too strong, but your statement was, "I don't have a problem with Huntingdon ranked higher but really, Wayne County?".. No, you don't have to play up, but the only good 1A-2A teams around here we already play. We tried to up the ante there by traveling to play Union City and Cascade this year and we handled those 2 easy and both are in the playoffs in 1A and 2A respectively.....we just need to at least get to Ckville to prove we're real.

From my understanding, Huntingdon got the #1 seed b/c they had more wins against higher classification teams (Milan and maybe more). Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. If that's the case it's tough luck that Chester Co. and Lewis Co. wouldn't play WC this year.

Hahaha you're a joke. You're right a lot of people didn't recognize it cause it didn't happen. In the 4th qtr WC was content to keep the ball on the ground to keep the clock running even though PC had 8-9 defenders in the box. WC line dominated PCs line ALL NIGHT!!

Realistically, WC DOES have the secondary to cover the PC WRs. I think EVERYONE knows that now. Domination by WC tonight especially defensively. We'll prolly see y'all again soon. Look forward to it!

I agree and look forward to that! Those drag routes they run are pretty tight to the line of scrimmage, so if Boston isn't blitzing he should be able to tee off on those occassionally too.

I know Dill is quick and not all 4 of our LBs can match up. But Boston Ray and Clint Butler definitely can. Boston is a BEAST this year. It'll be interesting how the coaches call their plays to work these matchups.
