  2. second round Collierville - 4 Covington - 2
  3. In first round Collierville - 7 Dyersburg - 2 Covington beat Vernon Hills, don't know the score
  4. Collierville - 7 Dyersburg - 2 Game played at the USA Classic in Millington
  5. Collierville really did not have that good of a game either, being that 2 of the 3 runs scored by Farragut were unearned. Phifer /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> is a top-notch hurler and competitor, a true talent. Glad we got to see first hand what all the hype was about. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  6. The win was a huge feather in Collierville's hat. Instant classic. It was an amazing catch by centerfielder, Lane Ferrall.
  7. What does Dyersburg look like this year. Collierville plays them in the first round of USA Classic in Millington on Wednesday afternoon. How are they projected this year???
  8. Did you see Austin Anderson of Collierville. He got the W against Farragut, while Phifer got the L.
  9. How have the Red Devils fared so far in the Lewis Harris tournament? Who do they play this weekend?
  10. Pelham tops 6A baseball poll From Staff Reports Published Thursday, March 12, 2009 Seven county teams are ranked in the first Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings, with the Pelham Panthers (12-1) leading the way in Class 6A baseball. Area foe Spain Park (10-4) sits in fourth, while another area foe, Hoover, is fifth. In Class 5A, Briarwood is No. 7 and Cornerstone is No. 10 in the AISA. Two softball teams have received a ranking, as Oak Mountain (9-2) is No. 4 in Class 6A and Cornerstone (10-0) is No. 6 in the AISA and Kingwood (2-0) is No. 10. According to this published report, this Pelham team is ranked tops in the state of Alabama.
  11. How did knoxville central look? Collierville has them today.
  12. Not much talk about Houston yet, but they will be a force to reckon with come tournament time. As you know, Germantown, Houston, and Collierville always battle for the top 2 spots to go to region. Palo should be a heck of a pitcher for Houston. He has signed with MTSU already.
  13. I heard collierville and farragut may try to play in a couple of weeks in Murfreesboro if both don't make it to the championship game.
  14. Millhouse rolled his ankle playing basketball and had something cut off the palm of his hand. He'll be back.
  15. too bad the weather decided not to cooperate this weekend. collierville will not be making the trip to east tn.
  16. Will Collierville ever meet Farragut this year?
  17. Anderson - got the win. don't think sanderln got the save
  18. AAA - Collierville has to be one of the favorites from west tn.
  19. Fraizer had 5 rbi's. The wheels fell off for Bartlett after the 3 run homer, as C'ville scored 8 runs in the 6th. Bartlett had runners in scoring postion, often and early, but could not get more than 2 runs across the plate.
  20. Morton played every inning, and caught every pitch for Bartlett against Collierville last night.
  21. Either Dailey or Anderson will pitch against Farragut. The other will throw against Bearden. Damon Erikson is Collierville's other top pitcher but is out sick.
  22. I agree with lilcoach7. Until someone can beat Bartlett when it counts, they are the team to beat. Tonights game, Bartlett v. Collierville should be a preview of the region championship game. Should be a fun game to watch. Both of these teams should be representing West TN at state this year. Collierville had hot bats last night against Arlington and sophomore Tyler Dailey shut down the Arlington hitters.
  23. Bartlett and Collierville tie up tonight. Both had opening day wins. Wonder if Morton will be on the hill for Bartlett tonight?
  24. Will be interesting to see the outcome of this one. G'town is probably going to be stronger this year, and Bartlett will probably be not as strong as they have been in the past few years. But, until someone shows they can beat the Panthers when it counts, Bartlett is still the team to beat in this part of the state. This game is always a good matchup. Another good matchup tonight = Arlington @ Collierville. Then tomorrow Bartlett @ Collierville. Gotta love this time of the year.
  25. Remember this name: Tyler Dailey. A south paw out of Collierville High School. Great command of all pitches. Change up is wicked. Will be highly recruited by D1.
