  1. Smyrna-Wilson Central has now been PPD, as well. No word on Mt. Juliet-Riverdale until morning.
  2. Add Franklin County-Blackman to the list; that was supposed to be our broadcast for tomorrow.
  3. Beech vs. Siegel, supposed to have taken place tomorrow night, has also been postponed. No make-up date set.
  4. Anybody tell me the players on Thweatt's team? All I need are names and numbers (positions would help, too). Need them for tomorrow night. Thanks.
  5. *imitates game show buzzer* Pendergrast signed with Trevecca. I was at the signing on Tuesday.
  6. Wow! That must've been quite a sight.
  7. We're at A-Game Sportsplex all this week. Listen online at http://middletennesseesportsnetwork.com/Home_Page.html
  8. Four games: two tonight, two Friday. All at: http://middletennesseesportsnetwork.com/Home_Page.html
  9. If you can't make it to the game, we've got it on the Middle Tennessee Sports Network. Just go to http://middletennesseesportsnetwork.com/Home_Page.html and click on the banner corresponding to the game. We are the ONLY broadcast outlet covering this game. 104.5's heading to Smyrna, so it's an MTSN exclusive. If you want to listen to WGNS's coverage of the OHS-SHS game and ours at the same time, please do so.
  10. Games like this is why the TNL folk need to start doing flex scheduling for the October slate. Or at least Viewers' Choice...

  20. They've finally put out the rest of it: 9/23/10 David Lipscomb at Goodpasture TBD 9/30/10 Ensworth at Brentwood Academy TBD 10/7/10 Smith County at White House TBD 10/14/10 Siegel at Riverdale TBD (on MyTV30's site, this is listed as "Siegel at Rivergate") 10/21/10 Henry County at Dickson County TBD 10/28/10 Independence at Ravenwood TBD It looks like there's no presenting sponsor this season. I think that's a bad sign. We might be getting back to the point where there's no games on TV at all in the Midstate (Hillwood's telecasts on Ch. 10 in Davidson County don't count).
  21. Here's all I know of so far: Smyrna-Beech on August 19 McGavock-Mt. Juliet on August 26 Tullahoma-Columbia Central on September 2 Oakland-Brentwood on September 9 Page-Giles County on September 16 Anybody know any other Thursday Night Lights games? MyTV30's been rather late with this season's slate of contests.
  22. At least not in Nashville. Heard this from Tom Kreager (Daily News Journal). Doesn't surprise me. A limited schedule last season, and most of the matchups were...not very good.
  23. The big region 4-AAA softball semi between Lawrence County and Riverdale airs tonight on the Middle Tennessee Sports Network. Pregame at 6:50 PM at www.middletennesseesportsnetwork.com. Just click on the link on the home page.
