Well seems like Blackman was the team playing football. I know I will get called cocky and yelled at on here but I am just excited about this game. We Rebels are in a great spot now are we not? Even if we lose (which I don't think we will) we will be seeded higher than Brentwood come playoff time. Now, all of you will get on here and complain about our schedule, and I say to you "BOO HOO"! Rebels will play good next Friday night and we will show those around that the real Rebels are now here. 8 straight wins and an offense that is now more loaded with Sean Dye being back in the backfield. You guys ready for my Rebel prediction? Franklin 20 Brentwood 7 I would have predicted a shut out but I know the other Rebel posters would start screaming at me about being cocky! I just think our D is good enough to shut down Brentwood and ready to make a run in the playoffs.

I'm not making anyone look bad! I never guaranteed a victory, but I am CONFIDENT that the Rebels will prove all these people wrong. I am sick and tired of hearing how we have not played anyone. I bet Coach Clayton would play any team that called him. Maybe that is why we played Fern Creek or the team from Memphis because people around here didn't want to play. I don't know. What I do know is we are 8-1 with a ONE point loss and 8 straight wins. I can't wait for next week!

Hey Dan, since you stated you coached before, then where did you coach? Can we look up your schedules that you played. Those so called "pathetic Kentucky" teams were full of good players. Coach Clayton told us all week about their speed and he was right. Our boys just whipped them at the line and our defense dominated those games. All I know is Franklin is 8-1 and don't count your chickens to already have us at 8-2. We got the week off and our coaches have two weeks to get ready for the Bruins. Might just be 9-1!

I am rooting for Brentwood to beat Blackman this week and then my Rebels to beat Brentwood. I'm sick and tired of hearing about how WEAK Franklin's schedule is and how tough Rutherford County is! All I know is after the Rebels beat Brentwood we will be 9-1 (a one point loss). That is one point away from undefeated. We are playing the teams in our district and we played two teams out of Kentucky that have Div. I players on their teams. I'm pretty sure that we played Memphis Fairley for our homecoming because we were turned down by teams in the area.

Well Dan you have not seen the REAL FRANKLIN. We had many injuries which hurt our offense early. (cost us our one loss - FLUKE) Matt was trying but hard to throw when everyone knows that is all you got. Now we got Sean Dye back and the real Franklikn will be at Brentwood next week. Have we been tested? I don't know. What I do know is we have a defense that gives up about 6 points per game. Who else can claim that? We have a defense that at times looks like no one can block us! I love what I see from our coaches with the pressure we are putting on the other teams. You really don't see Franklin keeping it close We will see.

Glad you came by to watch the Rebels. Did you see what I saw? Total domination of the Indy offense. Oh, and did you see who was in our backfield? Oh, yes that would be Mr. Sean Dye. So how many quarters is that now that Indy has not scored on the Rebels? I told you guys offense was getting better each week and the defense is just plain awesome! I'd say now our starters are giving up around 5-6 points per game.

Oh yeah, Rebels are in and Bruins are in. I guess only thing that matters is Oct. 29 and which one goes in as #1 and which is #2.

Agree with that one Sarah. Rebels will win big and I will take the under also being that the REBEL D is giving up about 8 points a game total and the starting D is only giving up around 6 points a game!! I wonder if Franklin has old stats around because it would be interesting to see where this defense ranks among records at the school. We would have to be up there in sacks, turn overs, and points scored. Keep it coming this week. One game until THE GAME!

We know we have to play the game, but the Rebels will be 8-1 when it is over. Looking forward to big crowd and a big Rebel win. FHS 28 IHS 0 I didn't realize that Indy had not scored on us in at least 8 quarters so I see the REBEL D making it 12.

And as I have said many times we Rebels should be 8-0 right now. We will see.

That is why it is a scrimage. Our coaches and players are getting better each week and we have a defense that is MEAN and NASTY! I really don't see Brentwood scoring alot of points on our defense so it comes down to our offense which is getting better each week and with the return of Dye then LOOK OUT!

All I know is the Rebels are now 7-1 (we already know what I think about that one loss and I believe that it is now being shown with how that team is doing compared to us) and we are on a crash course for Brentwood. See you on Oct. 29! By the way lbhiii : Did you come to our game since your Bruins did not play this week? If you didn't then let me let you in on a little secret. Mr. Sean Dye played some ball last Friday Night and I'm sure he will be ready come Bruin time. Way to go Rebels. Do not listen to all this crap about a schedule. All I know is that we are 7-1 and that sure is better than 5-2

Had to get something started on the boards with my Rebels. The Rebels have homecoming this Friday against Memphis Fairley. We are 6-1 with SIX straight wins since our one point loss during the first game. The running game is getting better each week and that will open the passing game back up. If the line keeps blocking we will make people pay. The defense is KNOCKING HEADS! I'd say Friday night will be a great homecoming. FHS 35 Fairley 6 GO REBELS!

Thanks for the Lesson and I am flattered that you would spend so much time on a post strictly to me. When the Rebels go to Brentwood (and yes we will be 8-1)I for one will be excited for a great game. We are playing the schedule that we have and we are doing what we should do..... WIN! Good luck to BHS and we will see you on Oct. 29th. By the way: flatworm with no anus or not the Rebels are a FLUKE away from being 9-0 when we come to Brentwood.

Because it is the game we are all looking forward to right now. But I do agree it will be BHS vs. FHS in the third round.

Beautiful day today, so I want to get outside and do somethings. Before I did that I sure had to come in here and thank "eraegbleel" for our so called "wake-up call" Way to go Rebels!
