how do district tournamnets work? do all teams qualify? Top 4? Not sure. Also, from looking at posts on here, here is what i see the standings to be. If anyone has better info... let me know... Farragut, one loss Bearden, 3 losses South Doyle, 4 losses Maryville, 5 losses SC, 6 losses Am i close?

I went back and looked at the story in the paper. Right or wrong, his record is listed as 6-0. Not sure about SC game

I dont understand your point. Why do combined walks hurt FHS offensively? Pfeifer only walked 4, right? and if they only scored on homeruns, he stranded them all. Help me understand what you are trying to say

wow...this will be fun to watch down the stretch. where is the Central /OR game today? that might be worth watching. Also, is OR and Karns "crossing over" to play district 4 in the throwback weekend again this year?

Friendzzz... you bring up a couple good points.... how can FHS tank offensively on ocassion and explode in others? and reading the article, it sounded like Bearden made great plays in the infied and outfield.

Two good pitchers last night. Kolinsky is a real stud this year.

The FHS is probably as deep as any in the atate. Pfeifer, Cooper, Thorson, Williams are all quality starters

The Copeland kid has been around for a few years. Had some kind of surgery as a freshman or sophmore. Apparently just now getting back to form. According to KNS, he is 6-0 and Potter is 6-1 for Bearden. Seems to be a good lefty (Copeland), righty (Potter) combination.

Just had a chance to read the box in the KNS. does anybody know who Bearden plays on Wed? Looks like they threw both of their guns last night at Maryville (Copeland and Potter). They can't have much pitching left for the Wed game.

Can you get thru district and region with just two quality starters? or do you need to go deeper? district is 2X elimination, right? and region is single?

KNS showed Farragut big over Lenoir City, and Bearden 2-1 over Maryville. Anybody know standings? I think FHS is undefeated, Bearden has lost twice i think, SD and Maryville are around three losses, SC has five. After that i am fuzzy. Help??

I tend to agree. Have seen all but anderson Co play. Think Powell's arms can hold up?

Cooper and Pfeifer are good in Knoxville. The Bearden staff of Potter and Copeland appears to be better than most anticipated. Kirkland at South Doyle can be dominant at times. Havent seen the Irwin kid pitch but heard he has nasty stuff
