  1. Two of those four listed will not be at that weight come Friday.
  2. Rex Up 4-0 give up an escape then 4 stalling points loses 5-4. He messed up in the moment and gave the match away. That win wasn't won, it was lost...
  3. If the clocks were on the other side, then we can't film from over here. Move your seat so you can film.

  5. If the tournament was in China, the same group would be running it. Location isn't the problem, TSSAA just needs to have it fixed by next year.
  6. Track wrestling is amazing when the host school knows what they are doing. Independence ran a track tournament last weekend, they did paperless, running the entiire tournament with computers and monitors on each table. Was able to look at results and up to the minute brackets and team scores on my phone anytime I wanted. I was told only 2 or 3 matches were entered into the systems incorrectly but were fixed before matches resumed after their break. The tournament started ontime, ended on time and most wrestlers got 5 matches. With a tournament of 18 teams, 7 girls weight classes, starting at 9 and everyone was done wrestling at about 5:30, I would say Track wrestling was the way to go. I don't want to go to a tournament that isn't ran through track. I can put up with the soap advertisements if i am going to be able to stay in my seat and look at brackets that update the second the match is over. Use track or I don't want to attend.

  8. Going to be tough for Anthony from Hillwood to wrestle at the region tournamnet if he is ineligible to wrestle. According to this article, he has been to 5 individual tournaments when you are only allowed 4... http://www.usatodayhss.com/nashville/article/hillwood-wrestler-jahmare-anthony-uses-disappointing-end-to-junior-year-as-motivation--2013301150021
  9. Sorry I thought you were saying the girl has been wrestling boys and beating them a ton, I am guess you were talking about in the practice room
  10. I hate to be Debbie Downer here but if your girl has wrestled even one match against a male opponent she isn't eligible for the girl’s tournament. Girls don't get to make the decision at the end of the year; they have to make it at the beginning. Once she has wrestled even 1 match against a male wrestler, she is no longer eligible for the TSSAA Girls Invitational at the end of the season. This is a TSSAA rule…

  12. Siegel had football players out, beech had football players out, Indy was missing 5 starters too( 106, 113, 126, 145, 170) should be interesting if they wrestle again. Seems like all teams were missing guys.
  13. Ravenwood's middle school, Sunset, is one of the best in the mid state. Their kids also wrestle for the Williamson County Wrestling Club which feeds pretty much all the Williamson County School. Either way they are still doing a great job over there!

  15. Go to the previous years of the state tournament over the past 3 season and count how many medals come out of each region. You will find no other region is close to region 3 with Cleveland, Bradley, Soddy, Ooltewah, Cookville, etc. Then see who is second, it is and will be region 6, Brentwood, Franklin, Indy, Ravenwood, Overton, etc. Region 6 over the past couple of years has been turning it on. They do not have the tradition rich programs like region 3 as Ravenwood and Independence both started programs between 2000 and 2004. Last year alone, 4 out of the 14 state champs were from region 6, 6 out of 14 were from region 3. That means the other 6 regions across the state had 4 champs combined. The pecking order goes Region 3, then region 6, then the rest....
